   We had a wonderful dinner for my son’s birthday. Our waiter Mark was great, very attentive and helpful. And of course, the food was amazing! Always love Red for special occasions!

   DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY BY GOING HERE. I have dined at this location, as well as the Pinecrest one over the course of several years. This has been my favorite steak restaurant in Northeast Ohio. I am very sad to say that I won't be dining here again. We went last night to celebrate my daughter's birthday. The service was the worst that I have ever experienced in any restaurant, let alone one that I dropped $500 in. We were seated for over 30 minutes before our server came to take our drink order - which showed up twenty minutes later. At the one-hour mark she delivered bread to our table and took our dinner orders, which didn't arrive for another 45 minutes. It got worse from there - which I didn't think was possible. I spoke to the manager about the poor service - he apologized and said he would make sure that it got better. He never checked back after that, and my daughter saw him leaving the restaurant ten minutes later (at 9:15 on a Saturday night!). What a supreme disappointment.

   We picked Red because of the website pictures and the menu was pricey and we were celebrating a birthday and wanted upscale. For reference a filet is either $58 or $65 for an 8oz depending on prime or not. When we first walked in at 7PM on a Saturday (we had a reservation) it did not seem super busy. We were sat on the bar side and not dining room. Immediately noticed our booth seats were ripped. Okay..that’s odd for an upscale restaurant. The server we had was amazing and nice and always checked in. We asked since we had access to a tv near by if we can change the channel. The server was sweet and when she asked the male bartender twice about it, he loudly yelled at her. We heard him and I’m sure the other booths around did as well. Super pleasant guy apparently. The food was good/average but again for the prices it didn’t blow us away. The bathroom wallpaper is peeling off in huge chunks and our booth had crumbs on the ledge on the wall that was eye level. If it wasn’t for the waitress our experience would have been crappy. I wanna thank her for that. Would we go back? Not really. The restaurant seemed like maybe years ago it was cool but it’s slowly fading out and physically being neglected.

    Excellent food, great service, made from scratch everything. Best steakhouse in Cleveland. Steps from Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse, and everything else downtown. Brought some guests from NYC, and they absolutely loved it.

    Extremely pleased with every aspect of this restaurant. Food (filet, scallops, au gratin potatoes, donut holes for desert) was outstanding and perfectly prepared. Service was pleasant without being overbearing. 5 * dining experience.

    2nd time. For what you pay for you’d think you’d get superior food but it was just average. I love trying different steak places and this place has underwhelmed twice now.

    This was my first time dining at Red, the Steakhouse. It was phenomenal! The food was amazing from the salad to dinner to dessert. The wine selection was perfect. We were seated immediately upon arrival and the waiter was very attentive. Highly recommend!

    We’re from Texas and these were the BEST steaks we’ve ever tasted! They were cooked to our liking. So tender, juicy and amazing! The whipped potatoes were delicious! Excellent atmosphere for Valentine’s Day and great service. We totally recommend Red, The Steakhouse!

    Food was excellent except for the king crab legs. $120.00 for a pound of crab that was more like what Red Lobster would serve. Not what I would except from Red. If they can’t get high quality seafood, then it is better not to offer low quality for an outrageous price. I’ve bought bigger and meatier crab legs from Sam’s Club. The service was outstanding, drinks were good, my husband’s steak was fabulous. It was a perfect meal, otherwise.

    We had a 4:30 reservation. We walked quickly from our afternoon show at Playhouse Square to not be late for our time! We didn’t realize they didn’t OPEN until 4:30 which left us standing in the breezy 34 degrees for 10 minutes until they unlocked the doors. Otherwise, Red was amazing as always!
