Always good food and service is excellent. Seating can be tight in the booths, tables are nicer.
The potato tots were very tasty as was the spinach. The rack of lamb was good, but my husband's portion was rarer than mine (we split the rack) and both became cold very quickly. We probably should have sent them back, but the server did not come by soon enough. The dessert was very good. The over all service was good.
Filet mignon was disappointing. Far from other upscale steak I've. I do mean far. The seasoning was done well, and my wife's ribeye was pretty good, but, other than the seasoning on the steak, I didn't experience much difference than a filet at Outback, though I probably would have finished a steak from Outback. In fact, over half of my 40 plus dollar 8 oz is still in the fridge. I'm currently not looking forward to finishing it. Waiter was great and drinks were fab. Had great time just not so great of a steak.
The Red Snapper special was very good and more than enough. I was pleasantly surprised that the house cabernet, Oberon, was so good.
Excellent restaurant. Already recommended to a friend who went last night and gave a great review to me. Amazing service, delicious drinks, the steaks were incredible. Excellent experience.
Exceptional meal! Everything was wonderful and lovely.
We had a 730 reservation however the table was not ready. The had table in bar area open up and placed us there after waiting 20-25 min. At 830 we had drinks and bread. Dinner took a long time to be served and the steaks were undercooked. We really like Red but it’s always a chance if it will be outstanding or just mediocre. Service was rough this time. Sorry for the poor review.
Took my husband here because he loves steak (me, not so much). He said "If taste was power, their steak would be the Infinity Gauntlet.". Yeah, he really loved it... I also had the Arugula and Prosciutto salad with their signature Raspberry Vinaigrette and we shared the Mac and Cheese. I could spend my life and die old and happy with that vinaigrette, and the Mac was amazing (I mean like it was hanging with the best soul food good). It is pretty pretty pricey (the double pretty is on purpose), but we will definitely be be going back.
Excellent food, service and special amenities.....donut holes....for our 44th Anniversary!!!!!
I made this reservation for my parents for their 25th anniversary and was thoroughly disappointed in the fact that after speaking to the restaurant staff, once on the phone and once in person, that no one conveyed it to my parents’ waitress that it was their anniversary. Extremely upset because I made this reservation with the intention of the restaurant celebrating with them and had I known they were going to neglect it, I would have made the reservation elsewhere.
Wonderful meal and our server were top notch. The steak was cooked to perfection.
The food was cooked very well and tender. It was just not a flavorful as I would have liked. The waiter was outstanding.
When I ask our wonderful waitress if the background music could be turned down because my beloved husband has hearing aids, she obliged right away. Restaurant background music is very bad for hearing aid-wearing people, as many older customers are. In most places, they ignore my request. Here, they responded promptly, and we are grateful. Our favorite place for a date!
Best lobster I ever had! Everything was delicious and service was excellent.
The steaks were done to perfection! My husband felt his was the best steak he ever had. A bit loud because of large groups, but the evening was still a good one because of the delicious food.
I was expecting more for the price. The food was so-so, the choice steak I ordered was under cooked and not very tender, I sent it back once and it was still under cooked for medium. Our server was great.
Perfect. Every time.
Outstanding! We will be back. Everything was wonderful.
I have dined at Red The Steakhouse in downtown Cleveland and was delighted by the Beachwood location, although signage to find it was limited making it difficult to find at first.
The menu and service was what we expected and were delighted!!
We have never been disappointed at Red. Our party had ribeye, the fish special, veal, salads and appetizers. All were delicious. The service by Penny and James was outstanding, as usual. Would highly recommend.
Daughters dinner before going back to school
Steak was burnt ( expensive bone in filet) and the potatoes were undercooked and greasy. Normally, everything exceeds my expectations. Not so this past visit.
Our waitress in the bar, Lisa, helped us have a lovely dining experience.
Always an outstanding experience at Red. Food was delicious, our server was exemplary and it's always a pleasure to dine here!
Delicious food....veal chop was great as were the rest of the entrees
I was very happy with the experience we had. We were there on a date and from the time we entered the door we were greeted , taken immediately to our table and met with our server. From there the experience just got better. The server and all attendants were there when needed but not so much that you had time to enjoy your company. The recomendations for appetizers and dinners were spot on. Every course was prepaired to our liking and did not have enough room to try desert. The bar was service was tops as we never had to wait and the wine selection was strong. The staff made a date night turn into a very nice experience.
We we're searved later than expected do to a big party that arrived just before us. The waitress, who was fantastic, appologized and compensated us with three wonderful deserts after the meal
There was one problem , I had ordered shrimp that was apparently prepared prior to the other meals and it was not hot. I did not want to delay the rest if my parties' dinners so I ate it. Unfortunately it made me sick and up most the night.
Red is one of my favorite restaurants and it never disappoints. The service, the food and the overall experience were all excellent. We were having such an enjoyable time that we stayed for 2 1/2 hours. I’ll definitely be back.
We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary there and the food was amazing. They even made the night extra special by providing us with donut holes with chocolate, caramel and raspberry dipping sauces. The cool part is they wrote in chocolate, Happy 25th Anniversary. Very well done and I highly recommend them
This is our third consecutive year celebrating our wedding anniversary at Red. The first two years were fabulous foodwise and service-wise. This year was a little disappointing. The music was too loud and inappropriate (we thought) for the crowd demographic (loud trance music for a mostly senior crowd?), the creamed corn was mostly breadcrumbs, and our steak was a little bit gristly. The service was stellar, as always. We called the creamed corn issue to our server’s attention only so that she could notify the kitchen. (We were not looking for a handout or a refund.) All minor issues, but it was a less than perfect evening this year, unfortunately.
This was an amazing place to eat. We noticed on the menu there wasn't Oysters Rockafeller (we don't do raw ones). So, my husband asked the server and she said we can make those for you. Best Oyster Rockafeller ever!!! Really, we love them and these were really the best! My filet was perfect and my husbands bone-in filet was amazing. They have creamed corn with a cornbread crumb topping that was delicious. We will definitely will be back when we are in town again!
Very good steak
Food was amazing! Service amazing!
Food is good.
My favorite place to eat. Never had a bad meal or experience.
Dinner was absolutely delicious. Our steak was cooked to perfection, the baked potato was served with great sides, and the mashed potatoes were fabulous. Everyone from the maitre-de to the wait staff were most accommodating. Can’t wait to go back!!!
My husband and I were visiting Cleveland decided we wanted steak for dinner. We went to the red steakhouse which is very difficult to find as there is very little signage to indicate their presence in that shopping center. We opted to sit outside because it was a nice night but was disappointed that there were smokers in our vicinity and had a hard time enjoying our dinner due to the smoke. This surprised us very much especially since for the two of us our bill was around $100 and we split
our food. We had a very nice appetizer,we split a 9 ounce glass of wine which by the way was $15 and the bottle retails for $19. We also split the New York strip and a wedge salad.
Steak is one of the best you find. Good atmosphere and service.
Not much of an atmosphere. No ambiance at all. Just pretty stone wall. Bread was awful-too hard. Oil was delicious. Shrimp cocktail was good. Filets were good. Corn was very good. Spinach and mashed potatoes fair. Service was average at best. Did not like Somallier-had great expectations but he was not very engaging. Did not care whatsoever our preferences.
Wine was way overpriced-was disappointed in this part more than most.
Will definitely not go back again.
Food and service enjoyable. My wedge salad and felit were excellent.
