A perfect place for a special birthday!
Nothing worse than a high end steakhouse that can't cook a steak accurately. Rib eyes were both so rare when ordered medium.
Spouse and I were celebrating our first night out after having our first child. The evening was perfect. Food was amazing, waitress (I think her name was Penny) was awesome, very clean and just overall a great night.
Service was quite strong but fish halibut special presented a dry tough overlooked under seasoned entree. Steak was good.
This was my 1st visit and I was very impressed. The appetizers and main course were absolutely delicious. However, the staff was even better. They were very attentive and extremely pleasant. They made great suggestions for both wine and food choices.
Filet, potatoes, Brussels sprouts, risotto were all top notch. Definitely recommend the donuts for dessert! Waiter was awesome too!
Sat there for hour and a half before dinner arrived. Steaks cooked rare when we asked for medium.
Too expensive for a sub par meal all around.
Won’t be dining there ever again.
Our anniversary dinner was outstanding! Despite not having our first choice in wine, the food, service and experience were all outstanding. We ordered a filet and a ribeye as our entrees. Both were the best, or among the best steak we have ever had, cooked and seasoned perfectly. The signature dessert here, doughnut holes, are absolutely a must! They're served with 3 sauces (chocolate, raspberry and caramel) and light as a feather. This place is expensive but you can eat more frugally. But for a special occasion, this is a wonderful choice.
Great steak and service. "Sides" were just okay and pricey.
Great food and service as always.
Food was incredible, would definitely recommend. Will be back soon!
Reds never disappoints. It is one of the best streak restaurants in the United States.
Meal was very delicious! Filet mignon and blackened strip. Green beans and fingerling potatoes. Tables for two are TO close together. The waiters backside was in my face several times while assisting other table. Too noisy and not private. Disappointed in seating but the food was excellent. I noted it was my husband’s birthday when I made reservation but we received nothing for it. They could have at least given us the donut holes we bought for his big birthday.
I called in advance to see if they could get me 2-3lb lobster for part of my dinner. Of course I was also going to eat a delicious steak too! When we arrived they seated us at a booth as we had previously requested when booking through open table. I check with the manager and confirmed the chef had 2 1/2 lb lobster for me.
Our server was fantastic. We have yet in the 6 to 7 years of eating there, to have a bad service...a bad anything. The lobster was cooked perfectly. The claws were cracked and tail split. Our steaks were cooked to our temp request. Medium rare from me and medium for my wife.
We lost love this restaurant and always feel full, happy, and satisfied. Great job as always Red and staff!
Always wonderful food and servicr
Michelle always makes a visit to Red a great evening!
A little pricier than I thought it would be. But it was a great meal, and a great wine list.
Very expensive with everything ala carte. Great food and service though.
This steakhouse with fairly traditional atmosphere has the best steaks in Cleveland. Also prices that reflect that. We had the aged ribeye which was cooked to perfection and outstanding. The fingerling potatoes as a side dish were also excellent. For dessert we had donut holes, the name does not do these justice, they are so much better than that with caramel strawberry and chocolate sauces to pour on. Excellent experience.
My food came out cold and my friends steak came out well done.
Service was good but food was way over salted - not normal for them. They offered to replace the side but not the meat. no adjustment to bill either, even for the side. Usually great food - not this time.
Our favorite Cleveland restaurant, we live abroad and come every two years and it continues to improve!
Outstanding and wonderfully delicious was the steak, side dishes, salad and yummy dessert!!!
Food was served promptly and beautifully. This is a great special occasion place
Our food was delicious and our server was just great!
My wife and I were celebrating an anniversary. We requested a quiet table and the request was honored. Service was impeccable. The server was experienced and did not treat us as some do in other high-end steak houses, which are snotty and pretentious. Best of all, the server made several recommendations and she was spot-on! The steaks were both prepared as ordered, which should be expected —- unfortunately another high-end steakhouse (Fleming’s) missed the mark more times than not. We stopped going there. This experience convinced us our decision was right. It is rare we have nothing to complain about. This is the exception. All I can say is the prices are steep, but you know that when you go to a high-end steak house. We will be back!
Yet another incredible at Red. If you haven’t been to Red you need to stop what your doing and go right now. Simply one of the best steak houses in the world! I can’t wait to go back!
As always, excellent service, excellent food!
First time there and was very impressed! The waiter was great. Kept table clean, glasses full, friendly, made sure everything was to our liking. For appetizers we had French onion soup and crab cakes. Both outstanding. Highly recommend the soup.
Our steaks were the best ever! Truffles mashers amazing. Finally, had doughnuts for desert. The doughnut itself reminded me of my grandmas big fluffy doughnuts as a kid only these were powder sugar with dipping sauce. Will go back soon.
Food great experience great i go there frequently i love the food and atmosphere
Red has always been a great choice restaurant, food never disappoints. It is for sure on the expensive side but you do get what you paid for food quality wise
We were celebrating a birthday. Staff was warm and friendly and the food was excellent. I had the restaurant week special with the salad, filet and fingerling potatoes. Yum Yum. He had lamb with asparagus. We had hot donuts for dessert which were scrumptious. Wonderful evening.
Steak was done to perfection. Sides were very generous. Service was friendly and attentive.
I had the beet salad, which was just ok. The beets were undercooked and there was almost no cheese and very little dressing. We all liked our main dish, but the sides were super bland. The Brussel sprouts were rock hard on the inside and needed salt. We had risotto, which had very little flavor and the augratin potatoes were good, but nothing to write home about.
Our server was efficient, but not very friendly. Ambience is nice, but very loud and hard to hear. It's quite expensive... Our bill was over $500 for four people. I don't mind spending this much on dinner if it's really delicious... but this just wasn't anything special. We won't go back.
Ordered from the restaurant week menu and was definitely not disappointed. The steak was done perfectly, the potatoes were crispy on the outside and smooth & hot on the inside. The only negative was the mushroom risotto, which was tasty but gummy.
The desserts were excellent.
Dinner with daughter - her treat :)
Our waiter was VERY good
