Amazing food. Peach cheesecake is to die for. This is a must when you come to the island.

The food was prepared in an exceptional manner. Very nice portion (European) just enough. Foodie menu, very pleasing. I ordered the Yellowtail Snapper, correct temperature and exceptional taste. New to the island, pass the must dine test. BonApetite . Well done!

What an excellent find! Just opened last summer and what a great job they are doing. Excellent, super friendly service with a small menu where everything is fantastic. My wife ordered the coconut shrimp appetizer for her dinner and good idea, they were HUGE and the best she’s had ever (according to her). I had the Key West Pinks with risotto and the shrimp were good size and very delicious with a lightly spicy sweet chili sauce. Convenient, less than a block off Duval St., and worth looking for.

Had a delightful dinner at this little gem. It’s half a block off Duvall Street, so it’s quiet enough for dinner conversation, but still close to the action. Much better food than the usual tourist traps. Loved the deviled eggs with scallops and lobster sauce.

The food and presentation were excellent and we enjoyed a DELICIOUS meal . Staff was attentive and friendly. We were so happy to find this Hidden Gem and we highly recommend this to all Key West visitors. Joe and Betsy G.

This was an AMAZING meal! The best food we had while in Key West. From the bottle of wine to the appetizers to the mains to the Key Lime pie, simply delicious!!

Very limited menu with unremarkable food and forgettable presentation. Only sold wine with few choices. Save your time and money and get carry out from a grocery store deli. I never leave negative reviews but this time I hope I am saving someone else from making the same mistake. There are much better restaurants in town with more dining options.

If you have not tried this place you are missing out. We have ate at hundreds of restaurants and this is truly a 5 star restaurant. Easily the best in Key West, we just asked the Chef to serve us Dinner and to pair the wine with the course. Nothing and I do mean nothing was not exceptional. I can not recommend this place high enough and recommend that you just trust the Chef to provide you with what is recommended for the day. It will be fresh, perfectly prepared and contain flavors that will excite your taste buds.

Loved our meal at this hidden little place on a side street of Key West! It was an easy walk from our hotel on Eaton. We arrived a bit early and were immediately greeted and treated by all staff like local regulars. As we enjoyed a glass of wine before ordering, they brought us out a sample of bruschetta that was delish. I had the stroganoff. My fellow Open Table reviewers did not disappoint on their recommendation. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite of tender beef and flavorful mushrooms. For dessert we wanted something other than Key Lime so we ordered the apple streusel. It was really divine. I should have asked what their secret spice was...cloves? If in Key West, wander off of Duval and check out some of the places like the Red Shoe Island Bistro. You will find exceptional food and service.

I had the yellow fin tuna and shrimp with risotto and asparagus. It was the best meal I’ve had in Key West. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. Don’t miss it!

Located off Duval in a former restaurant it is well appointed & tables well spaced. Food was delicious - beef stroganoff over marvelous gnocchi & the yellow tail with shrimp in decadent lobster sauce. Apple strudel for dessert so good.
It was a great meal with excellent service.
Menu is limited but everything on the menu is excellent.
Will be back & recommend giving it a try.

This was a great place. I had the beef stroganoff, which was terrific. My girlfriend had the mushroom linguine, which was also great. The desserts are all homemade. We have the coconut peach cheesecake and the Keylime pie, both of which were outstanding. Not as expensive as some of the other high-end restaurants we have been to in Key West. Highly recommended.

We just arrived in Key West and were looking for a local place. We came across Red shoe Bistro and the food and atmosphere were wonderful. The red snapper was delicious and the beef stroganoff was outstanding! The server was friendly and accommodating. And last but not least the key lime pie was the best! We bought a whole pie and had it with coffee for breakfast! Highly recommend Red Shoe.

Excellent food!

Quaint place. They were out of several appetizers and entrees. Food was ok...nothing special. Chardonnay tasted like water d down Martinell’s apple juice. Only had one fish dish — kind of odd for KW.

Best meal we had in key west. Everything was flavorful and delicious. Loved the snapper.

I wish we lived in Key West so we could be regulars!

The food and service was amazing!!

We had a wonderful, delicious, traditional Thanksgiving Dinner @ Red Shoe. The staff was friendly, quick, polite and engaging without hovering. The food was wonderful and tasted amazing and the portion size was gigantic - so we were able to enjoy leftovers too, which let's be honest, that's the best part about Thanksgiving anyway.

The owner came by our table to thank us for coming in, which is always a nice touch. And we loved the 80's music playing in the background. My husband and I had the best salads ever...the pear and blue cheese was out of this world, and my caprese was perfect! The thanksgiving turkey was moist and flavorful (well done) and the sides were fantastic. Thanks for giving us a great traditional dinner away from home!!

The food was good but not great. The green bean casserole had no salt and was extremely bland. The best part of the meal was the desserts. The were tasty and very rich.

Service was good but the $40 fixed price was just way too much for what we got.

We went for their Thanksgiving 3 course meal, which was outstanding. It was a spin on traditional Thanksgiving, and I really enjoyed it. They also had great deals on bottles of wine. I am pregnant so we did not partake, but a bottle was 15$ which would be been great with the meal. Highly recommend.

We ate our Thanksgiving meal at Red Shoe Bistro. It was fantastic! The service was fast and very good. We had several choices for our main course and sides. The fish and turkey were excellent. All of the sides were also excellent. We will definitely be back.

We absolutely loved our breakfast here. Delicious food, awesome atmosphere. This was a favorite from our week in KW!

One block off the main road , Duvall St. Dinner and service were great.

Cozy comfort food, good wine list... exceptional value in Key West

My girlfriend and I went to Key West for her birthday. When searching for a lunch place on Open Table, we found the Red Shoe. Fabulous food, great attention to detail with the preparation and presentation. The attentive owners came to the table to see if the meal was to our liking. We would return!

Truly one of the best restaurants in Key West. Rob is the owner and he is wonderful. He makes the Key Lime Pie himself from a recipe from the 1800’s

Seafood omelette was fresh and delicious ! Coconut and peach cheesecake was to die for! Terrific service!
