   Checking in was a bit difficult as there was no person at the front of the restaurant. We had to go to the bar to get noticed. The food, Pate, Octopus, Salmon, and Lamb were all expertly prepared and tasted great. The service was OK. It took too long for our plates to be cleared when we were finished eating. They seemed understaffed. Prices are high, but worth it for a special occasion or if you are tired of the mediocre places you usually go to. All in all it was a good experience.

   Really great experience. The service and th3 food were excellent. If you want an upscale experience, this is the place.

   The food was delicious, the ambience was on point and the service was impeccable. My first time here, but will definitely not be my last.

   Staff was amazing. We needed to leave suddenly, during a New Year’s Eve event no less, and they quickly boxed up the remaining items and still to come courses of our meal so efficiently we were able to enjoy them later in our room. And that was after accommodating a dietary preference request. The food was also very nicely done, starting with the caviar, cheese and gold flake amuse bouche, and including the tuna and halibut. Gem of a restaurant inside a 150 yr old hotel with a sister restaurant that is also good. Bravo!

   The restaurant was beautiful, the variety,quality and presentation of the food was spectacular and all staff were friendly,accommodating and professional. Perfect to celebrate a special occasion.

   So i took my wife here for her Birthday. Everything was Really Good from the minute we walked in the Door. We were greeted with smiles and brought to our Table. And then presented a Birthday card for my Wife signed by the Staff. Nice touch. Our waitress was very nice. Actually everybody was nice. Needless to say a Home Run.

   Presentation was beautiful but the food was fair at best. Crab cake looked great but the breadcrumb coating was too thick, overbearing and just not that good. Halibut was good. Lambchops were ok but the accompanying risotto croquet was more of the heavy breading filled with cheese and a small amount of risotto. Just awful I would have preferred risotto on a plate without the awful fried breading crust. Dessert was gorgeous to look at but awful. it was a trio of items , a small eclair that had this decorative cream green cream/ frosting that was inedible. I had to scape it off. Next up was some beautiful looking 'item the size of a small cupcake.it was all red on the outside and some sugary fluff stuff underneath, on a thin ginger flavored base. I could not eat it. The third item was a shot glass of hot chocolate and a small chocolate chip cookie. Cookie wasn't worth eating . At $175. per person plus drinks , tax and tip I should have stayed home.

The jumbo crab cakes with aji Amarillo corn aioli, the Grana Padano supplì, and the dessert selection (including eggnog mousse with gingerbread cake, caramel éclair, hot chocolate, and a double chocolate chip cookie) were well-received. Our pricing reflects the premium quality of our house-made ingredients and is aligned with market standards. With a full dining room and overwhelmingly positive feedback, we’re surprised to learn of your dissatisfaction since satisfaction was received by your party. We hope you’ll consider giving us another opportunity to provide an experience that better aligns with your expectations. If not, we wish you the best in finding a venue that suits your preferences.

    Was truly an experience, food was excellent, just did not realize it was a price fix menu for the holiday, that was not clear on open table.
