Red Salt Room by David Burke creates a relaxed elegance for Chef Burke’s first foray of his pioneering New American cuisine on Long Island. The menu showcases the chef’s hallmark dishes and a plethora of seasonal creations.

Dinner:
- Wed/Thurs - 5pm to 10pm
- Fri / Sat 5pm to 11pm

For parties/reservations of 6 or more, a $300 deposit is required for dinner service and a $150 deposit is required for breakfast or brunch service.

The cost is $42 per person for 3 courses, not including beverages, tax, or gratuity. On Friday and Saturday, the 28th & 29th, we will not offer the Restaurant Week menu after the 6:45 time slot.

First time here. Had a great experience. Waiter was awesome. We had the bacon app, surf and turf, bone in ribeye. The sides were very tasteful as well (brussel sprouts, mash potatoes). Def will be back. Thank you.

We came to celebrate my husband’s birthday. I was disappointed with my entrée of Kurobuta Pork Shank. The meat was very dry. My husband had the Filet Mignon with Jumbo crab cake. That one was ok. The Burrata Salad was bland but the Tuna Tartar was tasty.
Our waiter forgot to bring us additional bread and my husband’s espresso, which we had to ask another waiter to get it.

Can use some improvements on service. I ordered 2 starters and my waiter only gave us one and said he didn’t hear anything about the other however everyone at my table confirmed it was ordered.

The food also took an extremely long time to come out however overall it was a beautiful experience

I want to start off by saying the women who was our server was great.
The Bacon was amazing
The sides where okay
The steak was okay

The young girl at the front need to be trained on how to greet people. The Bartender was excellent

Service was outstanding but quality of food was mediocre. The bread on the sandwiches were close to stale and the fish sandwiches were very “fishy.” $325 for tea sandwiches and small pastries for four people and we left hungry. In addition to a mandatory 18% tip there was also a “service charge” that I was unaware of. This is one of the few places on LI that offer an afternoon tea and I just expect more from the GC Hotel. Ill go to NYC next time.

With 7 tea sandwiches, 7 pastries and a selection of scones plus unlimited loose teas and herbal infusions per person; this is typically a generous proportion for tea service. Tea is listed at $65 per person plus tax and 18% gratuity. There are no additional fees.

always a great spot for dinner.....like to take my 95 yr old aunt there because of convienance of location and staff is always so helpful and nice getting a chair with arms....taking care of wheelchair.....larger table....etc......the food is always very good....going there makes it feel like a special occasion.....highly recommend always a great dining experience

I anticipated a wonderful time at dinner. Unfortunately due to Restaurant week service was poor, so poor that we had to tell manager that is unexpected. Food was fantastic. I would say we had to wait 30 between each meal to get the next one. And how long we can have coffee and not to have dessert that is pre-made. That’s when our patience ran out and the manager came to the rescue. Thank you for fixing at the end at least.

Buttersquash soup was the best ever had - rich, creamy, and incredibly flavorful. Branzino was excellent as were the short ribs. Was anxious to try this restaurant and it did not disappoint. I will gladly return.

Did not honor reservation time. Over a 1/2 hour of waiting without any explanation. I find it very rude to have patrons waiting in the lobby when reservation is confirmed in advance.

The hotel and restaurant manager were very gracious and accommodating.
Meet the maestro chef, who was so attentive and happy to answer any questions.
Also very friendly and attentive wait staff.
All dishes were delicious and prepared to prefection

The place is lovely.

The tuna tartare was so good we ordered a second appetizer as we all devoured the first one very quickly.

We ordered two shrimp cocktails since there was only three pieces in each one but it was so delicious we didn’t mind.

Our entrées were so good I actually could not decide between the veal or the filet mignon so I got them both.

The food overall was delicious … the only complaint I have is the only side dish that came with her $70 plates of meat was gnocchi …nobody enjoyed it … and there was NO substitutions allowed

They do get a bonus reprieve for bringing out for a surprise birthday cake dessert for the three of us to share

A great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing wines, food and service. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations. The extra touches makes the experience even better. The bone in veal chop with herbed gnocchi were mouthwatering. Not to mention the melt in your mouth steak and the perfect branzino. The sides were so good I wish we could have ordered more but portions are hearty and leave you satisfied. Looking forward to returning!

This was our 3rd visit to Red Salt and probably the best one. I cannot recall another Long Island restaurant that has such a calming effect on diners. All diners were appropriately spaced and ALL restaurant staff were wearing masks. As for the food, I have never had a meal that wasn't superb. Try the maple bacon as an appetizer. The steaks and seafood are great choices for entres. A variety of high quality side dishes are also available. As for the staff, they are all courteous and professional. You just can't go wrong by visiting Red Salt.

JC was an outstanding waiter and it’s the best tasting food we have had in a long time. The bacon with a touch of lemon and pickles was out of this world!! I had a Friday special 2lb lobster surf and turf meal. I really don’t want to post this review because then too many people will start going there but It’s too good to keep it to myself!!

It was my first time here. I ordered the Cobb salad with shrimp and filet. The menu described heirloom tomatoes and they were cherry tomatoes. I live near farms so I know the difference. I eat heirloom all the time. The bacon in the salad was fatty and seemed uncooked. I was expecting toasted chunks. Our drink we ordered was an old fashioned. The bartender put no time into it at all and tasted like bourbon with a slice of orange and a cherry, no muddling at all. It just seemed very average to me and for a $40.00 salad I feel I was not asking to much for good tomatoes and bacon. The meat and the 3 shrimp that were in it were good, however the shrimp was very bland as well. Nice place to stay however, it looked like a beautiful hotel.

I am sorry that the cobb salad was not to your liking. Heirloom tomatoes do come in many variations and the ones we use for this dish are mixed heirloom cherry tomatoes. An Old Fashion doesn't have any muddling. Ours is made with Woodford Reserve Bourbon, Maple syrup and orange maple bitters. I am pleased however that after you mentioned your dissatisfaction we did give you a discount. We hope you can join us again and try some of the other favorite dishes and drinks.
