Amazing service, great food! I will be returning soon!
Crackling pork shank that was not crackling.
We had a fantastic time with friends at Red Salt. The food was fantastic and you have to try the cotton candy with cheese cake pops, it's a great new desert idea.
I love this restaurant! I will definitely be back!
Very good, waiters was very informational, great customer service.. definitely recommend this restaurant.. I will be returning back ASAP..
This was our second visit to Red Salt and we were excited to try it again since we really enjoyed our first time. However, we were very disappointed in the food this time. The clothesline bacon was very dry. The popovers were burnt. The allegedly 7 oz. filets were 4-5 oz. tops (I know they shrink when they cook but these were tiny), overdone, and way too salty (again, I know it's called Red Salt for a reason, but this was too much.). My SIL had the Dover Sole and it was also way too salty. The saving grace was the tin cake dessert and the nice man who kept bringing us water (which we needed a lot of due to all the salt).
I recently went to Red Salt for a birthday celebration. The food and service was great! Would definitely recommend Red Salt for an amazing dining experience.
So glad you celebrated your birthday with us! Thanks for coming in and hope to see you again. Lawrence Main General manager
Everything was great. Lindsay was a very nice and attentive server.
Glad Lindsay took great care of you. Looking forward to your next visit! Lawrence Main General Manager
The steak was very juicy and delicious. And so were the fries and water..lol yes ! Even the water taste amazing. Spend about $130 for an amazing date ...had a good time.
LOL, funny that the water was a stand-out. Thanks for the great comments about the rest of the food! Lawrence Main General Manager
Food was good. Limited menu as expected but the service was pretty rough. We came in early for dinner and they had just opened yet it was surprisingly slow. Our server quit in the middle of serving us due to some issue with the staff. No one ever explained where she went and the worst part was I had talked to her to help me surprise my wife for her birthday so that obviously didn’t happen and never got help surprising her. It was a very weird. Food came out extremely slow as well as drinks. Would need some convincing to go back anytime soon.
It was great. The clothesline bacon was amazing and the drinks were very good! I’d definitely be going back there.
Come back in for the bacon anytime Trey! Lawrence Main general Manager
Loved it , cocktails were great & the food amazing . Very attentive staff
Awesome service and staff! The food is always above average and the ambiance is perfect for an occasion or a date night
Hope you have another date night soon, we would love to see you! Thanks for the 5 stars Lawrence Main General Manager
Red salt appeared promising. The restaurant is beautiful and the hostess and manager attended to us. Unfortunately the server was inexperienced and certainly not versed in fine dining. The food was okay. Ordered a drink from
The bar - a blackberry bourbon drink for $14 - should have been a cocktail but came out like a shot, over shaken with a head of foam and tasted like a drink you’d get at a nightclub at 1 am. Popovers were burnt. The house made burrata was more like mozzarella - not at all creamy. Salad was good. The burger was excellent. The filet was excellent. The sides were small, not shareable and they were inedible the green beans tasted of seafood , they must have been sautéed in a pan that had been used for fish. The hush puppies were extremely over salted. This restaurant was an epic disappointment. Not worth it.
Will definitely come back! Great ambiance and very friendly staff. The hostess was so friendly and told us the neat story about the red salts. Thank you!
We were pleasantly surprised at how yummy the food was and we were glad to have experienced it during Queen City week. It may have been too pricey for us to try otherwise.
The food was expertly prepared and very flavorful. All the food was served hot on hot plates. Our server Sean provided excellent service. We very much enjoyed our dining experience and look forward to going back again.
Great food and a great experience! Such a unique menu that will simply wow you.
I had been wanting to go for a while, it did NOT disappoint! Highly recommend!
Great restaurant, good drinks and awesome service
Very well done
Burke shows his brand well through innovation
From the time we walked in we were in awe! The pre-fixed menu offered everything your taste buds would love. The staff was knowledgeable of the menu and the service was above par. We will be back! Thank you for making our dining experience one to remember.
Food was heavenly, our server was excellent and very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. Highly recommend.
Went for the New Year’s Eve dinner. The space was nice, our waiter was excellent, but the food was mediocre...and that’s being generous. We’ve dined all over at fine restaurants and for the price of this dinner $250/couple, we were very disappointed. She got the steak and crab, and I got the lamb, both were very bland. Honestly the wine was the best part of the dinner. We waited until last minute to book and figured we’d give the new restaurant with a celebrity chef a try. Will not be back.
Overall, it was an ok experience. We dined for NYE so there was a pre fixe menu which sounded delicious and thought we'd give it a try. The food was good, not great, we were expecting greatness from a David Burke restaurant. Service was the same. Our server was attentive but not overly friendly. We watched the manager stop by every table but ours to ask how their experience was going. We may give it another shot when the full menu is available, but based on last night we're in no rush.
Great place, cool ambiance, amazing service, coming from Europe it’s too good.
I took my girlfriend's parents there and her mom is vegan. We called in advance to ask if they could accommodate her and they went above and beyond. They asked the style of food she liked and made a dish special for her. We loved our experience and all of the on menu food was phenomenal. Honestly the best steak I've had in Charlotte.
I loved the atmosphere and service, however my boyfriend and I were disappointed with our food!!
Food was ok at best.
Clothesline bacon was to die for. The tin cake dessert was
Divine, but I’d hold the nuts. The salmon, the pork
Shank, and the short rib pasta were all amazing dishes. We will definitely be back! Don’t miss this great new restaurant in Charlotte!
Really good food, but very small menu. Everything we ordered was delicious and flavorful. For appetizer we had the burrata w/ prosciutto, beets, candied pecans, on a tender greens mix, main course I had the chicken w/ apricot compote, mushroom spinach rice; my husband had the braised short rib served w/ pasta. He said it was super tender and seasoned perfectly. My chicken was so juicy, yet the skin was crispy and the cooked to perfection, it was probably the best chicken dish I’ve had at a restaurant here in Charlotte. The decor is interesting, lots of unique art, and I love the Himalayan Salt Lamps they had everywhere, nice lighting. My only complaint is I wish the cocktail menu had a few more options and that they had more gluten friendly menu choices.
Thank you so much for coming in and enjoying. We will absolutely be adding to the menu as we get a bit further through Covid. Hope to see you again. Lawrence
Lovely people and service. Food was good and flavorful, nothing extraordinary for the price. Portions were just enough to eat there. Worth going back and possibly book a night at the hotel since it’s connected and beautiful.
Everything was very delicious and the service was excellent. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.
Thanks for the recommendation! Lawrence
This place was not terrible, but I would rather go to most other steak options in the same range. The lobster dumplings were just not good. The bacon on a close like was actually the best thing I had, i mean it was really good. And the cheesecake lollipop dessert was also great. The steak was very tender and cooked correctly but had very meh flavor. Compared to del friscos, capital grill, Oak, etc this was on the lower tier of steak flavor. Oddly enough I felt like it needed more salt. Haha, It wasnt terrible or anything. I would just choose elsewhere the roof top bar serves the bacon and lollipop dessert maybe go there as a progressive dinner option. It’s really nice on the patio. Btw I had the bone in ribeye.
EXCELLENT!!!!
Went here for dinner our waiter was rude and no personality. I will not go back or recommend. It was 845 and. Asked if we wanted another wine but was very rude. If u don’t like your job quit. Millions on people who would want his job. Very disappointed!!
Our first time at Red Salt and we will definitely return. The staff was friendly, professional and helpful. Our food was not only delicious but artistic...feed your eyes first! Beautiful presentation of food! As we sat, it was interesting to see others food being taken to them and commenting on how it was presented. Our server was helpful when we would ask...now, what was that they got? Love the whimsical take on everything. We already know things we want to try on our next visit. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.
Thanks so much! Can't wait to have you come back to try more. Lawrence
Fabulous dinner at Red Salt. Lovely restaurant! We look forward to coming back to enjoy another delicious dinner. Loved the clothes line bacon! Ingenious presentation. Tuna tacos, red grits and hamburger were delicious. Appreciated how they spoiled my husband for his birthday. Glass of champagne and the the lollipop tree.
So glad you spent your birthday with us, thanks for the comments! Lawrence
Great date night location... (hint; make it a overnight/weekend getaway)
Great idea, we think a staycation with dinner here is the way to go too ;-) Lawrence Main General Manager
All-around perfect dining experience.
