The Thanksgiving dinner experience was perfect for us. All of the dishes were delicious and well presented. The servers were very friendly and extremely helpful. Everything about the restaurant created an amazing time for our family. Thanks to the entire Red Salt team!
I would’ve given you all Five stars, but one thing ,next year if you’re going to do a Thanksgiving dinner please.Inform your employees that it is going to be a longer time. My reservations were at 2:30 and at 3:15 I was informed by one of your employees that you close the dining room at 3 o’clock. I don’t know about you but I don’t see how anybody can eat a Thanksgiving dinner in 30 minutes. Grace who waited on us was absolutely lovely, but she couldn’t wait on us before another employee took our food up and was boxing It!!!!!!!!!$
Service was fantastic and very professional, food was amazing as always!
Eclectic array of culinary choices. Nice wine selection.
Drinks were terrible and took forever, the bartender was in training and had no idea what she was doing. Food was just ok.
Food was overall good. Server was attentive tho kept taking her mask off to speak at our table. Setting a bit worse for the wear (leather benches cracked etc) and cold enough they had space heaters next to many of the tables. Not sure we’d go back again all things considered. Pretty empty on a Thursday night.
Wonderful service, great food and perfect ambiance
The food was fantastic and the ambiance has the potential to be wonderful but it was quite empty and quiet the Thursday night I was there. The staff was super and again, food was spot on - great variety of menu and everything cooked to perfection.
There were a few bumps in the evening starting with the parking and the signage - there is no valet and parking was unclear. We ended up having to pay $15 to park in a lot next to the hotel, which seems a bit odd. It was also impossible to find the restaurant in the hotel once we got in there. There are no signs anywhere! The front desk staff was extremely unhelpful and sent us to the rooftop bar which was empty, before we called the restaurant and learning it is on the first floor. Once we were seated everything was great, but getting there was tricky.
If you don’t know about this restaurant it’s a must go! My granddaughter (Aria) and I have regular “date” nights, and she loves US Prime steak. He frequent excellent steak houses regularly and Red Salt did not disappoint!
Grace was our server and she was awesome. She was very welcoming and attentive. She gave great recommendations and they were spot on.
Aria had the Filet and she absolutely loved it. She orders her steak medium rare plus and it was right! Her steak was complimented with grilled shrimp and they were seasoned perfectly snd delicious!
I had thePrime Skirt Steak and “Shrimp and Grits”. It was as great a shrimp and grits dish as I’ve ever had. Steak was delicious and cooked right!
Take out for my wife was there Red Salt Burger and fries which was top notch.
My son really enjoyed the Korean Braised Beef Short Ribs. The cauliflower kimchi and chow fun ramen. He was initially hesitant because of the side but was grateful he didn’t change his mind as the side were delicious.
All in all Grace said we couldn’t make a wrong choice, and she was RIGHT!
Restaurant, food and service was fantastic!!
Food was really good!
Our experience was phenomenal. The service was impeccable. The food was unctuous and definitely crafted for a special occasion. As the saying goes, “You get what you pay for.” And I truly feel that was true at Red Salt.
Great service and very good food.
It was ok experience too busy at night to get great service
Celebrated a birthday; our waitress, Grace, was AMAZING! Best service ever!
Great food; great service!
Absolutely amazing!! First time diner and I was throughly impressed.
Always a great place for a date night! Signature cocktails, fun appetizers, excellent main dishes and desserts to share!
Great experience! We were in Charlotte for one night and decided to try Red Salt because it was at our hotel. So glad we did! The food was unique and delicious. We couldn't get enough of the hipster hushpuppies. And our server, Grace, was WONDERFUL! She is a gem!
It was AMAZING. The food was delicious, fresh, and the presentation was fabulous. The server, Grace, was amazing. I have NEVER had a server like her. She was attentive, proactive, responsive, everything you can think of. She was awesome. Went ABOVE AND BEYOND!!! I hope when I go back she's there.
The pork shank and prix fixe menu was fantastic and our server Grace was awesome and very knowledgeable.
It was a great
We went to Red Salt on a special date night - and they delivered! Everything was lovely. Grace made the pace of our meal leisurely, and remixed my drink when it was too sweet. The tuna taco appetizer was great, the short ribs were wonderful, but the tin can red velvet cake was life changing!
This was a great choice for my husband's 40th birthday dinner. Everything was perfect!
Loved everything about this place!!!! Will definitely go again.
Very nice experience. I took my girlfriend and she was pleased. The music was nice, the food was amazing and the deserts were awe inspiring. Highly recommend
Very very good and friendly place. Recommend for couples and business meetings
Bacon on a clothesline was delicious
Waitress was great - best service we’ve had in a while. Hostess was not at all friendly. Food sounded better than it tasted except for the Brussels Sprouts - they were amazing.
The lobster dumplings are delicious! We also enjoyed the burger and the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. Make sure to order the caramelized apple tart dessert. It is amazing!
I was excited to try this place. David Burke makes great food. Unfortunately, this was not a great first visit to this restaurant.
The restaurant was about 1/3 full. They seemed to have enough staff to properly take care of the dining room (which is great considering covid). We ordered drinks from the bar and it took 20 minutes to get them. The appetizers were on the table before our drinks were….. apps were delicious (the octopus is awesome).
The real bummer is to order a steak, which Burke is known for, and have it come out cooked incorrectly. I ordered medium rare - the most popular temp. I got medium well. It came out the second time rare. My table was finished with their entrees so I gave up and just ate what I could. I asked our server to remove it from the bill because I didn’t get to eat with my party.
I’ll give them another shot, and I really hope they can deliver. If you’re going to pay that much for a steak, it should be what you order.
Grace my server was excellent! The food at best was below average. There is no ambience! The noise level was scream and the price for all of the equivalent of going to Ruth Chris.
For the price and prestiage , overrated. I have eaten at David Burke restaurants and this was a disappointment.
Overall it was good. Expensive for what you got and ridiculous that they charged $1 per sphere ice cube.
For diners who appreciate sophisticated food without the pretense, this is an excellent choice. Well-chosen and prepared menu, as good as eating in a sophisticated restaurant in New York or San Francisco. The wine selection is well thought out. My Salmon was prepared perfectily, flaky and moist inside with a nice scold on top. Lovely sauce around the plate. Deserts were lovely. Recommend the apple gallette.
Very noisy. Had been hoping for a nice anniversary dinner but at times could barely hear each other. Food was good.
They completely forgot about us and we spent 5 hours there. They comped the cheapest side because they thought it made it ok.
Great meal but restaurant definitely needs to work on service. As far as the food goes, everything was excellent! We had the laundry line of bacon, octopus and chorizo kebabs, and lobster dumplings as an appetizer. Everything was super tasty. We had a larger group, so everyone ordered a different entree: Red Salt Chicken, Skirt Steak & Shrimp and Grits, the Ribeye, short ribs. However, I will say that I found it frustrating that I tried calling the restaurant every day and on the day of our reservation, during restaurant hours, before. I even left a message. No one returned my call. I was trying to understand the corkage fee and just ended up giving up. For an upscale restaurant, I expect better. but again, overall the actual experience and meal was great.
Grace our server was the highlight of the evening. She was fantastic. We visited on Queen's feast, probably a mistake, as we ordered the ribeye, ran out, ordered the tomahawk steak for $120, ran out, then we were offered the filet for large upcharge. It was not even reasonable, but fortunately the manager substituted the filet with no extra charge. The food was very good and very presentable.
