Our first time at Red Rooster and not what I expected. We were seated right by the restrooms in the back and where people congregate to wait it in line as there are only 2 restrooms. It’s awkward having people stand and stare while you eat and drink. They should not have a table there. The food was mediocre, pan fried fish and greens were prepared differently but not bad. The black eyed peas were prepared in a red/brown sauce that gave it an odd taste so not a fan of those. The cornbread was prepared in a loaf pan. It was very stiff and very dense. The taste was okay. The music was okay. Our server was provided good service, food just wasn’t great! I probably would not go back again!

Was excited to take my family to visit Red Rooster Harlem. Attended on a night with live music that was not appropriate for younger children. The entertainer recognized that there were children in the room and significantly downplayed their presence. It was a tough experience to have with children and we had to leave our dinner early. We did not finish our food, had to box it up in haste, and was publicly embarrassed by the entertainer as a result of it. The servers were amazing otherwise; food was okay but was hoping for better.

We went for Sunday brunch and were greeted by an awesom jazz ensemble and vocalist. Our server was very pleasant, attentive, and knowledgeable. The food was spectacular! It was my husband's first time and his mind was blown with every bite he took. We will be returning very soon!

Everything about the experience was amazing!! The atmosphere was so cool, the food was delicious and my drinks were the best. Our waitress was very friendly and super helpful. I can’t wait to go back!

Nice waiter, but very “green”… took forever to come to table. Apps were good- deviled eggs/wings/crabcake. Steak had no seasoning or sauce, fries were under-seasoned and the mac n cheese was terrible. Runny, overcooked, no flavor or salt. The 4 of us agreed we will not go back. Only bright side was the amazing singer/band.

Red Rooster provides an excellent dining experience. The food is delicious. The drinks are delicious. The service is top notch. My father ordered lobster and our server came back soon after and placed a complimentary appetizer (tasty fritters with guacamole) on our table because the lobster would take a little longer to be prepared. It was just such a nice touch. The lobster came out perfectly cooked as did the rest of our dishes. It really seems like you can't go wrong with any of their entrees or sides. Eagerly looking forward to returning!

Mac n cheese came out dry and lukewarm, cherry tomatoes could have been at least cut in half. Shrimp and grits was decent. Drinks could have been larger for the price. Won’t be returning. Jazz band wonderful.

The Red Rooster experience was very good. The food was outstanding. We heard a little of the Jazz while waiting for the Gospel Brunch. Jazz was good. The Gospel Show was good. I didn’t like sitting behind a pole, which blocked my view. When you go there ask for a table, not behind the pole. Also, we paid for dinner, show, plus gratuity. I didn't like having to pay for water and asking for tips for choir. Overall, I would recommend going.
