Now that Red Rocks has gone through a beautiful renovation, it’s better than ever...it’s sleek & modern, but still super comfy. We went this past Saturday, food was exceptional, we had a steak dinner & a pasta dinner & both were cooked perfectly. However, what I love the most about Red Rocks is the service, from the host who opens the door to let you in, to the patient wait staff that guides you through your courses, you feel special, waiters never disappoint. Love this place!!
Fabulous meal as always. We had a party of 8 and everyone's food was good and the service was great. Look forward to the next time. Keep up the great work...
Love the remake at this location. The staff is fantastic providing excellent service. Because it is Restaurant Week the place was packed and we sat on one of the heated patios. We really enjoyed it and were very comfortable. The food was good, especially when you factor in the low price.
Mixed experience. Appetizers and dessert were good. Four of six main courses were steak, and none were cooked properly. Service started out well and then significantly dropped off over the course of the meal, would have sent steaks back but didn't see the server for quite some time after entrees were brought to the table.
As always, a wonderful place to meet girlfriends for lunch to catch up and have good food too! We meet often for lunch and Red Rocks seems to be a frequent choice! We really like the new look and the seating space...food is excellent and the menu is always interesting and lots of choices....
This was my first visit since the new renovation. The new renovation seems much more spacious and we enjoyed the new booths. FRIENDLY!!! All the employees are very friendly and our server ( cute blonde) was excellent. This alone would make me come back. There is something on the menu for everyone and we all enjoyed out food.
Excellent place to meet friends. The food & service were great.
Excellent Food and Great Service!
Great spot for food, conversion, and drink! Well trained staff.
Our waitress was wonderful smiling and very kind and helpful
Food and service excellent, but the noise level was way too loud. Perhaps if music were lower, people would talk softer.
Ate there for Thanksgiving and lunch on Wednesday. Always great food and service. I have eaten there several times since moving to Charlotte in 2004.
We went for a New Years Eve dinner with the family. It was wonderful. The food was delicious and the dessert even better! Love dining at Red Rocks Cafe. Our server John was the best!
Light crowd for New Years Eve as always RR did not disappoint.
We booked for New Year's Eve and could not have selected a better place. Loved the idea of still being able to order from the menu - most "select" restaurants we checked with only offered a very limited menu or even fewer and cost was very high. This restaurant had several "holiday" selections as well as still being able to order from the regular menu. I asked all if they enjoyed their food and they all said theirs was outstanding. Waitress was knowledgeable and available when needed. Noise, not too loud. We had a booth which was roomy enough for all six. Ambiance was very good! Great job Red Rocks!
Red Rocks is always the best. We’ve been dining there for years and it is always special!
Annual dinner with a brother.
What can I say... delicious.
We frequently enjoy meals there. The food is consistently good, something for everyone. The service is always great. Wine list has medium priced to conissuiers wine. Most of all, I like that noise level is moderate and you can enjoy conversation with dinner which is very important to us and not available in many of Charlotte’s nice restaurants.
Always outstanding where my wife, mother & I had a nice Christmas Eve meal.
We went here for dinner after Church on Christmas Eve- the food was excellent and the service was impeccable! Highly recommend. This amazing restaurant!!
Great place, something for everyone on the menu. Glad we gave it a try.
Excellent service, food, and only issue was the table was not available till 20 minutes after the reservation.
They have a great menu. Red Rocks is our go to favorite. We order something different every time and it’s always good!
When in Charlotte this is our default eatery. The salad selections are creative and outstanding. Wait staff is professional and attentive. One of our party is disabled but had no trouble accessing a comfortable booth. I had the Angie Harmon salad, fried chicken chunks on a cob salad named after the actress who was there the night we were, but she didn't ask for my autograph, nuts. Great bar for after work meetings.
Food was very good. Unfortunately, another table was out of control: so loud that we couldn't hear each other speak. We asked our/their server to speak with them but she didn't. I was very disappointed that no one addressed the problem.
Had the ribs, a little dry. Offered the desert try, we made our choice and was subsequently told the item was 86.
Lobster ravioli is always the go to meal for husband/daughter; however, the youngest states it was as good this time. I tried the special today and let me say they should throw that one away!
This was my second visit in two weeks. I am impressed with the service and quality of the food.
I ordered the entree Greek salad and it was delicious. The salad had generous amount of feta and very
tasty olives. On my return visit, I ordered the salad again and added a cup of the chicken florentine soup
which was also very good. My favorite thing about this restaurant is the quiet ambiance. I have stopped
eating in loud establishments where it is so noisy that I can't carry on a conversation with my table mates.
I highly recommend Red Rocks and will be returning often for quality food, excellent service, and quiet.
The food was good but our table was near the door and we kept getting a very cold breeze from the door opening and closing.
Quattro Formagio pasta was great. Also, the spinach cheese dip was phenomenal. Loved it. Great prices for all the food you get.
A perfect birthday dinner with my parents! Very accommodating for my mom who uses a power chair. A surprise and special touch was the personalized menu for my dad—he loved that! Everyone enjoyed their filet medallions which were delicious and perfectly cooked. My new favorite is the coconut salmon. It is a recent addition to the menu. The coconut dusting is very fine and not overwhelming. The citrus sauce is perfect with it and the wild rice. And of course the desserts were over the top. Our server was also top notch. You just can’t beat Red Rocks for a special occasion. Or even a casual lunch!
We came to Red Rocks for our holiday dinner. The service was great and we will be back!
Great choices and service. Love the new ambiance.
Recently dined at Providence location. It was Thanksgiving evening. I brought my elderly visually impaired aunt... she lived nearby for years before moving to Senior living. She always loved it. We were disappointed when we both had a little shell in the she crab soup but really bummed when the prime rib was so tough. Yes someone came by to ask if all was well, but the evening didn't call for it. I expected more!!! Two dinners, a wine, a beer and tip... not worth $108...
The Thanksgiving menu wasn’t good! Food tasted like it had been microwaved multiple time! Green bean casserole tasted stale! We felt like we took $70 & threw it out the window!
This reservation was booked over a month in advance to take my mother to dinner on thanksgiving night ; we were seated on the back of a tented porch in a dark spot, with one other table of three, absolutely no ambiance. I requested to be seated inside but was told we would have to wait longer.
The wait staff was very attentive and helpful, the only bright spot in the experience.
The meal was price fixed; which was not expected (how could that be communicated)after already having a thanksgiving meal for lunch! It would have been nice to have known this in advance as we would have tried to find something else.
I do enjoy having lunch at red rocks when I am in town, but this experience was not a good one.
Had the Thanksgiving pre-fixe menu and it was excellent. Food very tasty, large servings, all of the staff were so upbeat and pleasant, especially considering they were working on Thanksgiving. They’ve recently renovated inside and it has a more contemporary sleek atmosphere. Would definitely recommend Red Rocks for holiday meals.
OUR SERVER MADE THE THANKSGIVING MEAL MOST MEMORABLE - SHE WAS
THOUGHTFUL, ON TOP OF OUR NEEDS AND MORE THAN PLEASANT. SHE MADE THE EVENING FUN AND ENTERTAINING.
We enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner at Red Rocks. No prep, no cooking, no dishes - GREAT!
