Very nice waitress. Great place for a good dinner
Very good food and outstanding service
Yummy food that never disappoints. Have eaten many dishes from the menu and all met and exceeded expectations. Love the two different sizes of wine on the menu! On this occasion, the service was stellar. She provided suggestions and met all our needs in a professional timely manner! Has become a go-to place for my husband and I.
A party of four of us went to Red Rocks Cafe before a show at Ovens Auditorium. The food was wonderful, the service was superb and we had a good evening enjoying the excellent food and good company!
The server was fabulous. She was the best waitress I have had in a NC restaurant. The salads were incredibly fresh and the dressings were in house made. We were very pleased
I find that the food and service are always dependable at Red Rocks.
One of my favorite places to dine in Charlotte and Huntersville!
The food is consistently good. We have always gotten great service. I would recommend this restaurant for a special occasion or just a casual night out.
Food was good as usual. However, when one of us ordered a “Sweet Rob Roy”, it must have been unfamiliar. It was ordered “up”, but came in a small whiskey type glass instead of a martini glass. We commented on it, but were told that it was “up” and “very chilled”. It looked like a watered down cocktail left out over night. Very unappealing.
Excellent food and service
Always a great neighborhood dinner spot. Busy and great service. Save room for dessert too!
Great worth the money spent
We went this past Easter for brunch. The staff was happy and outgoing. Menue had excellent choices. The food was delicious and enjoyed by all at the table. We will be back!
My wife and I love Red Rocks---it is one of our favorite Charlotte restaurants. We went there for the Easter Brunch and we both ordered Eggs Benedict. We both received COLD Eggs Benedict! I do not mean that it would have been nice if they were a little bit warmer, I mean they were cold. The Manager quickly and graciously provided fresh, hot dishes.
As usual, service was excellent and the fresh cakes were delicious.
Easter brunch was delicious! Even the kale salad was 5 stars! Definitely will return to this great restaurant
Service was good. The atmosphere was not great for what you would expect. Lighting too bright for dinner service. Food was rushed out. We received our entrees before we had finished our salads. There are many other options in Charlotte to chose from for a better overall experience.
At one point this was my go to place when I wanted a glass of wine and relax into dinner.
The wine list has changed and no longer is a step above other establishments. Now I come for the consistency of food and no longer imbibe in wine. I go somewhere else for a pre dinner drink or wait till I get home for an after dinner glass of wine. Whomever the new wine buyer is,
he/she is disconnected from his/her clientele.
Celebrating hubby’s birthday. Food was good but noise level was off the charts. Think it had more to do with the folks at the next table than Red Rocks itself. Server Tierra was excellent and courteous. Will go back again but will ask to be seated in a quieter area.
Service was friendly and pleasant but a bit slow.
My benedict was cold when it arrived. I would normally have sent it back but did not want to take the blush off the enjoyable day with friends.
Arrived early so opted to dine at the bar. Lauren was spot on. Very enjoyable evening. Thank you.
Red Rocks never disappoints, we always take our out of town guests there because the menu has plenty of options for everyone, the food and service are always great, and its not a chain. Plus save room for cake after dinner, they always have about a half-dozen fresh options, and sometimes they run out of some of the options later in the evening. If you give them advance notice for birthday's, they will name an item on the menu in honor of the celebrant. Our friends from Chicago were very happy with our Saturday night dinner.
We always enjoy dining at Red Rocks Cafe in Charlotte. It never disappoints! We have tried quite a few menu items and especially like their pasta dishes. Their burgers and Ruebens are also well worth trying! For dessert the chocolate cake is outstanding and big enough to share. The coconut cake is moist and yummy; also shareable! We highly recommend Red Rocks and Caitlin is an outstanding server so ask for her!
Never disappoints! Always good food and service.
Delishious salad and very attentive service. Looking forward to going back.
Excellent food, atmosphere, and service. Would definitely return.
Consistently excellent food and service.
Red Rocks never fails to please. This restaurant has become our go-to place for birthday celebrations, after church brunch, first date, and just to drop in for dessert and coffee.
We went with friends for a pre concert meal. There is a bit of construction around the entrance to the strip center where it is located, but not hard to find or park. We were greeted and seated promptly. Our server was friendly, helpful and professional. Service and timing was great as we were not really rushing, but had a deadline. The beer and wine list have many good options and don't break the bank.
The food was also very good as was timing. We started with the Chips with Blue Cheese. Good with lots of cheese and dressing. We all ordered entree salads, one with chicken, one with Salmon, and two with steak. All were nice size, looked fresh and the meat was very good.
It was a really good meal, fit in perfectly to the time slot we had, and we had decent drinks for a reasonable price. It made us wonder why we don't go more often.
I ordered the lobster tails and one of them was so mushy it was inedible. I sent it back, and the manager took it off the bill, which was the equitable thing to do. I eat here often and this was my first bad experience.
A group of five childhood friends had a wonderful reunion dinner at Red Rocks on a rainy Monday evening. Our waitress was attentive, but gave us plenty of time to enjoy our friends. All dinners were delicious, with a special treat of seeing one of the nightly specials named for the person in our group who made the reservation - what a surprise!!
Great dining experience all around for our family!
This is one of my "go to" local spots". Red Rocks has been here a long time and it is easy to see why! The food is reliably good, fair value, and good service. They have a good amount of booth seating and also a big back room that can accommodate large groups. Outdoor seating is good as well.
Very good food and fun menu names. Excellent service. We have been multiple times.
Always consistent food and service. Been coming here for years.
Our server was very pleasant and on top of things. The food was great and well prepared. Portions were appropriate. Will definitely return.
Had Sunday Brunch. Sausage gravy biscuits we're disappointing, gravy was flavorless and biscuits we're toasted and slightly sweet. French toast was average as we're the eggs Benedict.
Waited 25 mins for a confirmed 6:30 reservation
Very loud room , tables too cramped together
My NY strip lacked flavor but the others in my party liked their selections.
If you make a reservation and then the establishment reconfirms don’t keep a guest waiting 25 mins with out communication
I dine out at least 3 nights a week across the US and will honestly say this establishment was average at best, but will give It a second chance
We had a party of 5 celebrating my wife's new job and a friends birthday. We had a great time and the food was excellent. Our waitress Audrey was outstanding and patient with our picky
portion, We had desert and the portions were generous and delicious to say the least. We decided we would be returning very soon.
Excellent meal with exceptional service
