Red Rocks never fails to please. This restaurant has become our go-to place for birthday celebrations, after church brunch, first date, and just to drop in for dessert and coffee.
We went with friends for a pre concert meal. There is a bit of construction around the entrance to the strip center where it is located, but not hard to find or park. We were greeted and seated promptly. Our server was friendly, helpful and professional. Service and timing was great as we were not really rushing, but had a deadline. The beer and wine list have many good options and don't break the bank.
The food was also very good as was timing. We started with the Chips with Blue Cheese. Good with lots of cheese and dressing. We all ordered entree salads, one with chicken, one with Salmon, and two with steak. All were nice size, looked fresh and the meat was very good.
It was a really good meal, fit in perfectly to the time slot we had, and we had decent drinks for a reasonable price. It made us wonder why we don't go more often.
I ordered the lobster tails and one of them was so mushy it was inedible. I sent it back, and the manager took it off the bill, which was the equitable thing to do. I eat here often and this was my first bad experience.
A group of five childhood friends had a wonderful reunion dinner at Red Rocks on a rainy Monday evening. Our waitress was attentive, but gave us plenty of time to enjoy our friends. All dinners were delicious, with a special treat of seeing one of the nightly specials named for the person in our group who made the reservation - what a surprise!!
Great dining experience all around for our family!
This is one of my "go to" local spots". Red Rocks has been here a long time and it is easy to see why! The food is reliably good, fair value, and good service. They have a good amount of booth seating and also a big back room that can accommodate large groups. Outdoor seating is good as well.
Very good food and fun menu names. Excellent service. We have been multiple times.
Always consistent food and service. Been coming here for years.
Our server was very pleasant and on top of things. The food was great and well prepared. Portions were appropriate. Will definitely return.
Had Sunday Brunch. Sausage gravy biscuits we're disappointing, gravy was flavorless and biscuits we're toasted and slightly sweet. French toast was average as we're the eggs Benedict.
Waited 25 mins for a confirmed 6:30 reservation
Very loud room , tables too cramped together
My NY strip lacked flavor but the others in my party liked their selections.
If you make a reservation and then the establishment reconfirms don’t keep a guest waiting 25 mins with out communication
I dine out at least 3 nights a week across the US and will honestly say this establishment was average at best, but will give It a second chance
We had a party of 5 celebrating my wife's new job and a friends birthday. We had a great time and the food was excellent. Our waitress Audrey was outstanding and patient with our picky
portion, We had desert and the portions were generous and delicious to say the least. We decided we would be returning very soon.
Excellent meal with exceptional service
The food was excellent! Great atmosphere! Service was supurb; very attentive staff!
Was a great time with friends. Just wish a 5 top wasn't put at a booth.
Food was good and our server was great. Large menu selection and they are will to change things around a bit to accommodate special requests. It is always crowded and with good reason.
Used to be a favorite spot on ours, but something has happened. Every dish was underseasoned or undercooked. Of all the appetizers and entrées only the steamed broccoli and cauliflower we’re good. Will probably go back again someday, but not until what’s happening in the kitchen shakes out.
Daddy daughter dance. We sat outside on a pleasant weather evening.
Red Rocks never disappoints. Great food and service and the best she crab soup in town!
Food was excellent and the service was phenomenal! Will be going back!
Love the pineapple martini! Best kale salad! Amazing meatloaf!!
We've visited Red Rocks for special occasions for the past several years and usually have great experiences. However, this time we were very disappointed. The food tasted very much like something you would get from a cafeteria. It certainly wasn't the quality we expected or experienced in the past. It was also extremely salty. I got the Storm Trooper from the bar and was very disappointed: the black sugar ran down the glass and stained my hands. Again, like the food, the taste and quality were really lacking from the bar too. We were seated right by the kitchen which really killed the atmosphere due to the view and loud kitchen noise. We definitely won't be returning anytime soon and were so disappointed to report our experience to friends and family who usually dine there with us.
Another excellent meal. Attentive service. Had the shrimp cocktail and crab cakes.
The food was amazing! Everything we had was delicious and decadent! Our server Audrey was the best! Such a great attitude and sunny personality! This was our first visit. WE CAN’T WAIT TO GO BACK!!
Anniversary. Nicely done.
Ashley was an absolutely fantastic server, she was attentive and was exceptional at her recommendation for my husband, on his order. The food, as usual, was delicious!
We had an outstanding dining experience as usual. I had reserved our space a couple months ahead being it was for Valentine's day. You always hear how even great places struggle on busy days like this. NOT HERE. The service was as great as if it was a regular day. Wonderful food and we were very happy when we left. We never felt rushed even with the waiting room full.
Steak was undercooked. Amount of food was underwhelming. But great service and correction was mad. Also steak was low quality
Food was excellent & service was great even though they were packed!
The food and service were very good. The restaurant was on time with my reservation and seated us upon arrival. The overall dining experience was above par.
I'm trying to decide what was better, the homemade potato chips, the coconut cake or the service. Oh wait a minute, I don't have to decide, I got them all.
Red Rocks is the best in Charlotte for any occasion dining!
Valentines Day was special. Thank you for accommodating our gluten free needs. You’re a good man John Love and you run a great restaurant.
Excellent service and food. We ate on the patio which was very casual and more laid back than inside which was extremely busy.
We used to live near Red Rock, but has been several years since we have dined. The interior visually looks cramped, but we had no issue with noise. The food was good, but a little over priced vs. eating at a place like Sullivan's or other upper end steak house. Service was outstanding and the management staff was very engaged with the customers. Good place for a date night, but you will spend $60-80 for drinks and an entrée.
Our Valentine's Day dinner was delicious and our waitress was very friendly. Nice atmosphere. I think every employee we passed by coming in and leaving wished us a Happy Valentine's Day. That was nice.
Not happy, paid $8 for kids buttered noodles, like are you kidding me? They used so much butter to, the noodles were swimming. The serve brunch on Sunday but the kids have no choice. One of my kids wanted french toast and the only option was an adult portion. I asked if they would be able to do a half portion and they just flat out said no. I will not be returning and don't recommend this place. The food is grossly overpriced, especially the kids meals. Completely unsatisfied and very disappointed. :-(
My overall experience with Rocs were good. The bathroom being out of order was a problem. Also the paper towels in bathroom wasn't good. The performance was ok. I went a few weeks ago and the young lady who performed was awesome.
Cannot day enough good things about Red Rocks. Everything about the experience was superb.
