   Booked a table on Open table for 4:30pm because it was available and the Red Restaurant website states dinner starts at 4:30pm. When we arrived on time to the restaurant we were not greeted at all and everything from their brunch was still being taken down when brunch had ended at 3:30pm. I had to find a hostess to check in with and was advised that open table shouldn’t have let me book a reservation for 4:30pm because they wont be starting dinner until 5pm. I was told to hang by the bar and grab a drink which is what we did. I figured since I already checked in twice with the hostess, they would come get us by the bar when they were ready. I noticed a long line of people at the hostess table so I decided to check what it was for and it was all the backed up reservations that they started to seat without any announcements or checking with us who had been waiting . We waited in that line to be sat even though we checked in twice before that. We were finally sat more than an hour after our reservation time. We would have left and choose to go elsewhere but it was mothers day and all of our family met there. This restaurant was unorganized and expressed poor hospitality. We did not finish our meal and get the check until 8pm. There is no reason that we should have been at this establishment for over 3 hours.

   Probably one of the worst experience dining experience. Made us wait > 2 hours WITH reservation.

   I had a breakfast reservation at 8:45am on Mother’s Day and when I got there there was a staff meeting going on at the hostess counter. Went to another counter to be seated and waited there for 10 minutes until someone helped me and told me to go in the front counter. When I went a girl told me they stopped breakfast at 9 because of their brunch special and we were late. But we were not. The manager wanted to sit us outside by the snack shack and said we can get breakfast burritos there if we wanted to still eat. Reservations should not be allowed if special events are happening and breakfast times change. I didn’t know breakfast stopped at 9am that day and the manager and hostess was not hospitable and more concerned about getting ready for their event instead of a guest who had a reservation. Poor service overall.

   Disappointed about service, we had to wait for a table to be made for us - literally pulling chairs over from another table to make a table, and food is mediocre. Went for the view but not worth the drive.

   The food was absolutely disgusting. The service was the worst service I have experience in a long time. We waited about 20 minutes just to get water and soda because our waiter forgot we asked for decaf coffee and they gave us regular coffee. It took about 45 minutes just to get a sandwich and some eggs And the restaurant was not that busy. When the food came out, I receive Rob bacon in my sandwich and the saddest croissant sandwich I ever seen in my life when I was ready to pay my waiter gave me back the check without giving me back my credit card and I have to wait for them to find it.

   Always been a fan of Red. Location is set atop a fantastic view Covina/West Covina. We got to see our favorite waitress, Mellisa. She’s is the best! Food is decent to sometimes even fantastic. The service at Red is always great and can’t wait to go back very soon.

   A great place for a family get together. The service was excellent and the food was very good. We really liked the special attention the server gave us. It was our Christmas celebration and we’re so glad that we all met at Pacific Palms and spent the evening at their Red Restaurant. Will hopefully do it again next year.

    Unfortunately, we did not dine at Red restaurant. On the day of our reservation, someone called and left a message that it’s under construction so we will be dining at another restaurant at the same hotel. At the time, our large party is hard to change venue, so we just went with it. I was hoping to sit down and rest, yet I stood there for what seems like 20-30 minutes waiting for staff to give us a functional high chair that’s not broken. Services and food, as well as the music are excellent. I have no complaint. It’s just with all things transpired, I can only give it 3 star, because we were originally expecting the lake view experience at Red restaurant, but told we are dining at lobby level restaurant instead.
