Red Oak Kitchen
Loved the Vanilla Latte!
Everything about this place was great! The prime rib is amazing! Staff and service were top notch.
I wanted to take my date and her roommate out for a nice dinner. I needed to impress her roommate and Red Oak was the perfect choice!
Service was excellent and the food was very good.
Best steaks around. Great pizza too.
Our service was not what I would have expected. We were not greeted by waitstaff for 17 minutes after we sat and we had to wait 12 minutes to get steak knives and our food was cold. Overall, not a great experience and will probably not revisit.
Food was Great as always and the staff was very welcoming and fast
Unfortunately we were seated right next to the kitchen and servers station so it was nonstop activity and noise during our entire time. I learned and will make sure to reserve a table either upstairs or outside.
The food was fantastic! I asked them to adjust my order to fit my keto diet. The chef was very accommodating! It was delicious and I was very pleased!!
Will return again soon.
Favorite restaurant in Odessa
We really enjoyed our dinner. Their A/C almost works too well. Bring a jacket if you are upstairs otherwise it’s really cold.
We always love to eat at red oak for our dates.
Red Oak kitchen has delicious food. We started with the trip dip, and I had the fish tacos. Their London Mule is a great cocktail. The carrot cake is a great finisher as well. The upstairs seating is quiet and intimate. Great for a date night.
We had a great meal the upstairs booth was perfect for a more private dining experience. Food was great as always.
It was great. We will be back.
Brunch was fantastic!
Love Red Oak! So happy you all are open again. The sangria yesterday was amazing!
Excellent food and service, as usual ! Keep it up !
Red Oak is one of our favorite restaurants in Odessa. The mood is nice and food and service are great. There was a little smoky odor due to the open flame cooking in the restaurant. Menu prices range from very affordable to more pricey based on the item ordered.
Service, Food and Atmosphere were great as usual! It is great to have this restaurant open again.
Always a great experience, everyone was courteous and everything was clean. Distance was kept between everyone, food was great.
Considering the current situation, it was awesome! Our waiter wore a masks and gloves the whole time. The food was delicious and the service was quick.
With everything just starting back up the restaurant was very quiet. Food and service was excellent as usual! Very happy they have reopened!
We had the crispy fried shrimp as an appetizer-- Delicious. Then we split the filet and it too, was wonderful!! and came with a PILE of broccoli with squeezed lemon on it. I did not care for the lemon on the broccoli. We also split the banana cream pie, and again, it was quite dee-lish.
A friend’s birthday- our server was very friendly and checked on us often. Our food was prepared just as ordered. Dessert was fantastic!
Nice brunch spot
The food was great but the service was terrible. The waitress barely came to check on us and never asked people about drink refills. Also we reserved a table and were given the one right up front by the door. This was awkward as more people started coming in for dinner.
Reservations @ 7 pm, seated immediately upon arrival, upstairs per request w/reservations. Jessie was our server. Service great! Never felt rushed, never went without drinks. Rock shrimp and cornbread for appetizers. Rock shrimp always great. This was our first time for cornbread and it could be dessert, so good! Rotisserie chicken w/mashed potatoes for me and steak/crab/asparagus w/mashed potatoes for hubs. Would have loved to tried strawberry cheesecake but were too stuffed! Left with doggie bag that could feed two more persons!!! Love this restaurant!
My friend’s birthday
We had brunch around noon on a Sunday. Our waiter was excellent but the food was a let down. I ordered the pork chop and chilaquiles. My pork chop was cooked like a rare steak so I did not eat it but the chilaquiles were good. My friend had the huevos rancheros and said hers was lacking seasoning. I would go back to try it again just because the restaurant was clean and waiter did well.
Very noisy. Service was not as friendly as in the past but we will be back. Hopefully noise will be a little lower and the service will be a little more friendly. Crabcakes are excellent but very expensive so we have to split the two. Make sure you order the cornbread it works as an appetizer and as your dessert!
The whole experience was great from the atmosphere, food and service!
We always enjoy eating here for dates and especially love that they use the open table app so we don’t have to wait
They did nothing for the birthday we were celebrating
Food is okay; however, if you want rotisserie chicken this is a place for you.
Our issue with the place is the setup of the dining “areas” i suppose. Just a strange setup. You always have people hovering around your table because of the way of the setup
Ill probably go back for lunch if its open for lunch and grab a pizza or burger but dinner most likely not simply due to the setup
Food was lukewarm, strange taste with the mashed potatoes. Overall, not the experience we expected.
Pre - event at Wagner Noel PAC.
I was celebrating my birthday a month later with a friend. The food was delicious and served on time. Our waiter checked on us often. We will be back!
It was my birthday. The server was timely, friendly, checked on us several times. Our food was prepared correctly and tasted very good.
Made a reservation, seated quickly, drinks arrived quickly. The menu is small but everything they do, they do well. My only complaint is that there is no variety in the daily vegetable. It was Brussels sprouts (which I loved) all last year. Now it’s asparagus or acorn squash, then it was squash with corn relish etc. When they find a veggie it’s there for months. There’s no rotation. A wider variety would be great.
