The service was much to be desired. They were slow in taking our order, and when the appetizers were provided, they didn't provide serving dishes. I felt they were very disorganized. When the meal server came with the main course, "he" didn't even know what he was doing. It was so uncomfortable that the waitress (who took our order) had to handout our meals herself. She appeared to be annoyed with him. Maybe he was in training. My granddaughter had sliders with fries and asked for a ramican of ketchup, which didn't come with her order. We waited for a good 5-10 minutes before I had to hail someone down and ask for her ketchup, in which the gentleman provided within a few minutes. However, unbeknownst to her, 15 minutes later, our original waitress provided the ketchup. We ordered a dessert with the intention to share, but only 1 spoon was provided. In addition, the waitress didn't come over to ask if everything was ok or if we needed anything until right before we got our check.
Despite the service, my family and I really enjoyed the food, and will most likely return. We're hoping this was just a fluck. However, after reading other reviews, it appears that the service seems to be an area of improvement at the restaurant...and if that's the case, "RED MONKEY, PLEASE RESOLVE THAT ISSUE."
The food and restaurant was nice. The service was extremely slow. The restaurant only had a few tables taken and we waited over an hour for our food.
The food was ok but the waitress wasn’t good at all. She barely paid any attention to us and was in a big hurry the few times she came by. She also messed up running the credit card we wanted to use for payment and said it wouldn’t go through so we ended up paying cash. Calling the bank revealed the waitress put the wrong expiration date in and she only tried one time. Disappointed

Myself and 3 others had dinner here. We all felt that the service was poor and the food was bland. Not something one would expect from a Latin restaurant. We were there from 7-8:30 and they did not have any dining music playing at all. None of us will plan on dining there again.

Was not obvious when making the reservation, but pleasantly surprise that there was a prix fixe father's day bullet menu only offered, but found plenty of options the family all enjoyed, and the free pint for dad. They even honored coupons too. Lively restaurant and very friendly staff and service. Looking forward to going back again.
A reservation for 8 people was accepted, even though they did not have the capacity to seat us together at the same table.
I am completely disappointed in Red Monkey. I made dinner reservations for Monday June 10,2019 for a party of 9 for my sons graduation celebration. We get there and there is a sign that states “closed for annual cleaning”? A man comes to the door and tells me it “just came up” NOT a phone call nor email to let me know that they could not honor my reservation. A complete disappointment to my family that were visiting from NJ. I raved about how great the food was and that the place reminds me of home (Jersey) My son was looking forward to celebrating with family and have Spanish food. I traveled 35 minutes for this. Shame on Red Monkey for ruining what should of been a great celebration with family
We arrived to find out that they were not going to be able to seat the 10 of us together. But after expressing our disappointment the manager came over, assessed the situation and rearranged the tables for us. That’s customer service. And the food was amazing!! The Puerto Rico Day buffet exceeded our expectations! (Our pictures show the empty plates after the feast!)
Pésimo servicio. Nosotros no sabemos si la mesera es racista porque entonces está en el lugar equivocado. Habíamos reservado, llegamos y la mesa no estaba lista, cuando la arreglaron nos dejaron dos sillas dándole la espalda a nuestros invitados, pedimos un cambio y la mesera se molestó, tiro la sillas y empezó hablarnos de manera despectiva. La comida horrible, el pan duro, la carne fría, las papas llenas de grasa y la cuenta súper carísima. Para terminar la historia la mesera se cobró por cada una de las cuentas que cada uno de nosotros paro 13 dólares de propina. Horrible la experiencia, no recomendado.

We had a reservation, and after we came in and sat down, nobody came for drinks, so we went to get some food (it was a buffet) and then the server didn’t come to take our drink order until after the second time we went up to get our food.
Brunch was amazing. Took wife for mother's day and they had free unlimited mamosas.
Waitstaff is more interested in texting than taking care of a customer. Sandwiches were dry and I will not be returning.
They had a buffet, food wasn’t hot and for the price never again. Also the gratuity was added in with the check. 3 gratuity levels the middle was added on. Had to ask for the dirty glasses and plates to be taken. Never again!
It was alright. We were really looking forward to it and were disappointed with the experience. The food was OK, nothing to recommend to anyone. For the price, we expected more.
Food was fantastic. The service was slow, and on a slow afternoon. Appetizers were forgotten and drinks took an exceptional amount of time. The server apologized and offer to take something off the bill, then the Bill came and everything was included. No complaints on our end but it will be a while until we come back. The food alone was good enough for us to return. Maybe we will sit at the bar next time.
The experience was very bad. The food took over an hour to arrive and arrived cold. Our water ran out multiple times for extended periods of time. We requested to speak with a manager and it took the manager/owner about 20 minutes to get to the table and then chose to raise his voice at us instead of solve the issues. We finally resolved the issues and requested our checks. It took another 45 minutes for them to make the adjustments and provide checks. When the checks arrived they were not accurate and needed to be redone. Terrible experience all around.
Great birthday experience for my honey!! Our server was super nice, engaging, and recommended good food and drinks! He even brought out a beautiful cake and icecream display for the birthday man!!
