Hostess had no idea of Open Table priority seating. We waited about 35 minutes for a table. There were others waiting who gave up and left. Our dinners were good however my wife ordered a Filet with her lobster and was served a sirloin. I ordered a baked potato and received rice and no effort to bring me a potato. Waiter told us the Manager was going to give us a discount. All they did was discount the filet to the sirloin price plus $2! They must be very short staffed as less than half of the tables were occupied.

Not sure if they were short staffed, but our service was slow and clunky! It took forever to even get our drink order, and after waiting longer for our food to arrive, our waitress started to bring certain entrees at a time instead of just bringing out our complete order! Plus we were never offered any refills. She tried but our experience last night wasn’t good at all.

Everything was fine with good service, a lot of menu selections and quality of food. The only slightly negative comment was that the crab legs were very soft and difficult to crack.

My husband left his cell phone on the table and our server Shelia ran outside and found us in our car just leaving and gave it to us. We were so grateful for her kindness in doing this. Nothing else even matters when someone goes out of their way to do "the right thing". What a great experience. She saved us such a hassle. Thank you Sheila and Red Lobster Surprise, AZ. You are the best.

Dining experience took far too long! We arrived on time at 6pm. We were sat at 6:25 they were busy. We ordered by 6:45 and did not receive the food until close to an hour! Others had arrived after us, ordered after us, received their food and we’re eating! Our server checked but it was still another 10 min. Food was delicious but far too long! Whole experience was from 6p-8:45! Far too long!

We haven't been to Red Lobster in a long time. I was surprised at the increase in prices. Everything was an upcharge! It wasn't that crowded on a Saturday night. I guess other diners have felt thqt way and have chosen to stay away.

Ask for Sheila! Best server ever. Food was hot and good but not happy that RL now charges for a side salad. Used to be a choice of sides, but now it's an extra 2.50. Lots of add on charges.

We have been to a lot of Red Lobsters in our life but I have to say this was the best food and service ever. Our server Matt went above and beyond to make sure everything was as it should be. I will definitely come back to this location.

We sat close to the bathroom and it smelled bad. The waiter was very friendly to other patrons but only came by our table twice. Another server brought our food out to us and it took a longer time than the people around us.

Friday at 5:30pm. Very few diners at that time. Received our drinks seconds before the food arrived. Had to order water twice. Finally arrived when meal was nearly over. Had to wait till meal half done to get baked potato. Asked to split bill 3 ways. Took 20 minutes for waitress to figure out how do do this, and then we learned she created 4 bills instead of 3. she was very nice but overall a very disappointing visit.

Food was not very impressive. We ordered the fried green beans as an appetizer and it had probably 18 tiny green beans. My fish and chips were not very good. The fish was super greasy and dry. The server was very nice but couldn’t make up for the food.

Our server was attentive and friendly. One of our served beverages had a large fly in the glass with ice. The food was acceptable, but appeared rushed as it was plated. Not up to the standards of other Red Lobster locations.

I had never tried Red Lobster and was excited to go with my fiancé. From both of us being previous servers, we know what customer service means and can analyze our experiences. Our server was just lacking any customer service or empathy in regard to any mistakes such as taking 20 minutes to tell us the keg is out. By 30 minutes we didn’t receive our appetizer either, she had told us she forgot to ring it in. The food was hot which was fine but she never asked us once for refills on alcohol or even water. We overheard other customers complaining about her and realized if we had a different server, we would have had a better experience. This was all on 6/24 a Friday at 7p and the restaurant was at half capacity.

I am appalled that I am required to leave a one star review, as a minimum for this waiting room. I call this location a waiting room, because after an hour of waiting for our meals, it never arrived. Our server, Jeff was nice enough to bring us ONE glass of water each, one cocktail (didn't offer to replenish it when it was finished) and stingily gave us some of Red Lobster's world famous (microwaved) Cheddar Bay Biscuits. He didn't come check on us, and when the manager finally approached us, she stated that the food was on a tray waiting to come out. The restaurant was EMPTY. The DoorDash guy, an old drunk at the bar and us were the only three patrons of the establishment. The lovely manager was reluctant to refund our meal, as we sent it back, and didn't even offer to comp our drinks for us. The only silver lining of this story is that I left Red Lobster without an upset stomach and it was the cheapest trip to Red Lobster that I've had at $10 for our drinks. Stay tuned for the review of tonight's back up date night dinner, Wendy's! It was a much more pleasant experience.

Had reservations at 6:30 and she told me we will set you soon. After 30 minutes I went back to her and I saw our name still way down on the list and she said we were next. 5 minutes later we were seated. We ordered our appetizer and it came out in a reasonable time but then there our dinner was a couple of minutes later. The fish and chips were not very good. There special drinks are way to sweet. Very disappointed.

We were pleasantly surprised having not eaten at a Red Lobster in decades to find the food was good! With few solid options near us this was a solid choice. Our server, Samantha was excellent and attentive. We will be back!

We waited 50 minutes after ordering our dinners for them to arrive at our table. Explanation was kitchen very busy - although it was not full. We did get a discount on the bill, but wait was ridiculous.

I added my name to their wait list during the afternoon with Open Table. So I was surprised when we arrived and the host said there could be a long wait, even though there were open tables and no one else waiting. He even asked if we would like to wait in our car! Finally after 25 minutes (and watching customers vacating tables and departing) we were finally seated. Then it took another 10 minutes for a waitress to show up. We ordered an appetizer that took 15 minutes ti arrive. 5 minutes later, while we were eating the appetizer, our entrees arrived.

We were out-of-town, visiting family during Covid-19. This location was fairly crowded with dine-in at 6:00 p.m. and also pick-up orders. Our table was by the bar where the carry out orders were brought out to the customers. There was not social distancing between those customers and they were standing close to the tables of seated customers. The servers also had to walk past them with food orders for the tables. Our server did a very good job with our table. The cheddar biscuits and salads came quickly but we did wait about 35 minutes more for our meals- probably due to all the carry out orders. The Chicken Linguini Alfredo was very good. The sauce was creamy and there was so much chicken! The Trio of Shrimp was also good. The order of Salmon came with 2 pieces of the fish and was excellent! The lobster tails were very good, as always. Portions for all meals are always very generous.

As usual the service was outstanding but the food is just OK. It’s Red Lobster so it’s not going to be like the freshest of seafood but we’re in Phoenix so we get what we can. I don’t mean to say the food is bad because it’s not.

Everything was good, but our poor waitress was slammed with tables that were too spread out for her to handle efficiently. She was very good, but had to run to all parts of the restaurant. Didn’t see a manager at all, surprised she didn’t get much help.
