Red Lobster - Spokane
We ate here on Christmas Eve and the staff were very friendly and warm. Our waitress did a great job. Last year, there was not enough staff on Christmas Eve and we felt terrible for the staff having to wait on so many tables and run around frantically. We told the manager that for the, sake of the staff, they have to have more people on a holiday. This year, they were much better staffed and we were very glad.
$12 calamari. Obviously frozen - and were nothing but mush. Mom and I had maybe two each and left the rest. My wood-grilled tilapia was dry and the asparagus were woody and dry. Mom had the sea scallops- said she makes them better. We both had scampi-were tiny, but buttery. The best part of the dinner was, as usual, the biscuits. Saving grace for the whole meal was Juan, our waiter. He was charming.
Awesome service and food and atmosphere
It's not our cup of tea. The food is average, but over priced. The seating wasn't quiet or personal. We spent $365 including tip and are really feeling like we didn't get a good deal (yes, we had all adults and beverages, appetizers and dessert -- but still...).
Good food and great waiter.
Fun and delicious food, but quite loud.
