Hand breaded calamari was tough. The white wine and garlic mussels were overcooked, and the sauce was thick. Fish and chips with crispy brussel sprouts. The fish was okay. The brussel sprouts were overcooked. The Lobster Lovers Duo with broccoli, mashed potatoes with butter, and sour cream. The lobster was very good and there could have been more meat. The broccoli was crisp, and the potatoes were okay. The waitress Ms. Bentu (maybe spelling wrong) could have been better considering the location was empty when we arrived on Sunday, 11/19/23 at 12:00pm. She did know if they took military or AARP discount. Did not follow up to see if we needed refills or anything else. She did not bring a mussel fork until asked. The location used to be better when I lived in the area 15 years ago but, it could have been one of those days. The location in Columbia, MD has better service and food.

The host (shorter dark haired Latino male with white streak/highlight in his hair) had a terrible attitude and did not listen to my requests when entering the restaurant. He didn't greet us at all and I had to initiate the conversation. I told him we had Priority Seating, a booth request, and my reservation time, and he mumbled ‘OK’. Then, he tried to sit us at the bar even though I told him my reservation was for Priority Seating! He just stared at me and then took us to a tight booth right in front of the large corner booth that was completely empty! This guy seemed real racist, and had a terrible attitude. We are a Black family. A host should not conduct himself this way, and Red Lobster should not hire such people. I asked the waitress (Black woman) if we could sit at the large corner booth right behind us, and she allowed it. The host then questioned her about it. The waitress was great, but the host was terrible! The food was subpar, and cold in spots.

The food was delicious and hot. The service was a bit slow due to nationwide staffing shortages in the restaurant industry, however our server apologized and creatively came up with ways to make our experience more pleasant.

The food and drinks tasted off and seafood was cold and tasteless. The service left us hanging. I will not eat here again.

Don’t try using open table for this place after 9pm. We should up and they told us the kitchen was closed. I don’t understand why open table would have red lobster on their list if their kitchen was closed.

My birthday. Food was great and plenty of it; I love me some leftovers. I didn’t think to ask, but it would have been nice if my mom could have order off a”kids” menu. As an older senior, she doesn’t eat big portions; she order the “pick two”. Let’s just say she know has lunch and dinner for some point over the weekend. She did, however, make a little room for the chocolate wave ( my birthday reward).

Ugh. Stopped in with my mom at her request. So not worth it. Even she, who enjoys crappy food, couldn’t finish. Trout was passable, nothing else worked. Place seems to be going down.
