Periodically my elderly uncle and I go to this Red Lobster for lunch as we enjoy seafood. He enjoys the outing so much. To make it even better, we noted we always have the same waiter, Sydney - he is great!
Food was freshly made, delicious and service was excellent. Had dinner for a special occasion and we were not disappointed at all!

Had dinner at Red Lobster on Mar 5, 2020. Took some time to decide what we really wanted. Our server, Serdar offered us specials for the night. We ordered mozzarella sticks, artichoke and lobster dip, Fish and Chips, mussels in white wine, Chefs Pasta , chocolate wave for dessert and a bottle of wine.
Serdar was very kind. Not the typical server where they just chat with you and get your order. I was really impressed with his service and kindness. I even complemented him.
Food is always great in my experience.
Overall, the food this time was excellent. I had a platter with lobster tail, scallops, shrimp and crab. They were all cooked to perfection. Really tasty and good.
Did you know that Red Lobster has reservations? I didn't but I googled it and Open Table helped me get on a wait list so that I didn't have to wait too long for a table. This location is very busy from 6 to 7 pm on Saturday nights. If you can wait until 7:30 to eat, your waiting time can be shortened. The food and service was very good. My only complaint is that we were a little cramped with 5 people in a booth, especially when the food arrives on big plates. Overall, we would return to this location.
We went there for Family Day lunch. We reserved a table by Open Table App and we got a table quickly when we arrived. The waitress was fantastic and provided great service. The food including the soup and pasta tasted good but was not hot enough. We had to ask the waitress to warm it up for us a couple of times. Overall a great dining experience.
Meal was delicious, portions big enough and great deal on specials! Service was awesome too.
I would recommend Red Lobster Scarborough to my friends and family. My steak (sirloin) was NOT very palatable but the manager corrected the problem. Hopefully on my next trip there next in a couple of weeks would be puurfect.
Everything was good except we waited 35 minutes for the table and we were promised 15 minutes waiting time.
Some of the nicest staff at any place around. Everyone is so friendly and the food is always super fresh.

When we checked in at the restaurant, we told the hostess that we were expecting two more guests, gave her my name and even pointed out my reservation on her tablet and when our guests did come in, they could not find us and had to walk around the restaurant, it was only when my friend called me on her cellphone, I went and met them. Other that that hiccup, everything else was good.
Service was great but priority seating is a joke. A restaurant of this caliber should be able to better manage their seating arrangements.
Got seated right away. Betty our server S very nice. Good can't on time and tasted great. We had the dinner for 2 special. Good value

Waited 30 mins after we checked in at 8pm. Worst part was, the table we were given was cleaned up and available since the beginning and we were just staring at it in the waiting area wondering why no one has been seated. Funny enough, the hostess uses her phone and calls a group telling them them their table is ready, but guess what? Those people were finished eating AND have already left. Complete disaster in the front end. The service was a complete disaster as well. My server Sydney was great and we can't blame everything on him. We understand it was a saturday night and the restaurant is packed, but PLEASE hire more people. I had to chase the guy to refill my drinks the whole night but hes too busy around serving multiple big tables. Thats just way too much for someone to handle which leads to an unpleasant experience for other visitors and thats not fair.
Went to celebrate my birthday. Had a great time and a good meal!
Food is so so. Doesn't worth the price. The waitress doesnt even come and refill the water. Gave me the bill in a rush then never came back to refill our water.
We went for our 36th wedding anniversary and Red Lobster did not disappoint. Thank you!
Booked theough ooen table. Onnreachibg were told that we had to wait for an additional 20 mins. After being seated food came in within 20 mins. No staff came to see if we needed anything for almost 40 mins/ when we were done eating our meal. We hailed another server and only after 15mins our server came but it was too late. We paid our bill and left disgruntled.
P.S not going back there anytime.
Wonderful service and as always great food. Would have preferred table rather than booth for our party but perhaps that could be part of the preferred questionnaire.
A regular place for me with my Uncle. We have not had a bad experience.

This looks like an understaff restaurant, slow greeters, slow kitchen and had to wait for 25mins for our lunch meal.
If you are in a rush for lunch time, don't book it.

Priority waitlist was an absolute joke. While not a reservation from the explanation online my name would be put on the waitlist as if I was actually there so that when I got there my wait time would be at a minimum. I waited for over 40 minutes watching as walk-ins that just put their names in waited less time than me on a supposedly priority waitlist. And then being given some BS excuse by one of your hostesses that ALL those going ahead of me were also priority before me when I--who was standing right at the host stand and could hear that these diners did not do priority waitlist--knew she was lying to me. I felt extremely degraded and overlooked. It's as if I was being penalized for being both a solo diner as well as one with mobility issues (I use a walker). If it wasn't for the fact I needed to eat because my blood sugar was getting low I would've left. Honestly I hated that I had to eat at your restaurant.
The only glimmer of light was my server, I think his name was John, who could clearly see I was upset and did his best to give me as good a service as possible. But after the way I was treated by the hostesses the damage was done.
Btw I have been at this particular Red Lobster many, many times over the years but because of how I was treated this past Friday night (June 28) I will not return. Why go back to a place that nearly brings you to tears? Not even sure I'll even go to another Red Lobster.
Definitely do not recommend.

The "waitlist" was pointless as we arrived 10 minutes prior to the waitlist and still waited over 1 hour for a seat. Upon seating, the serving was attentive but had to be asked multiple times for water refills and ketchup. The food was sub-par. Do not order the cedar wood meal with the sausages. The sausages were dry (they tasted rubbery). The sharing appetizer was small and not worth the money paid. 4 mushrooms, 4 coconut shrimp, and 4 shrimp cocktails for $16.
Foods were good, just that the restaurant cancelled my reservation when I did dine in restaurant. I have to email open table to get my points.
Great food and excellent service
Everything was overall pretty good. I had gone a couple times, 5-10 years ago, and wasnt impressed, but it seems that both the food and service has both gotten better. The prices are pretty decent for what you get. Worth going for the variety at thise prices.
The service was good. The waitress was somewhat attentive and very pleasant albeit we did have to ask and flag her down for refills 2x. The food was yummy but a little bit on the salty side hence the refills. We like going here coz it's nearby and good food for the money.
It's been about a year since I was last at Red Lobster, but I went anticipating a good meal because I've never been disappointed.
Sadly, Friday night's dinner was largely a let-down. If it hadn't been for the spectacular service, I'd have been inclined to leave.
It started with the caesar salads, which were limp and under dressed.
There's been a change to the fish & chips batter recipe and I am not a fan of the new at all. Uber greasy - more a breading than a batter - it lacked the spectacular crisp of the original recipe. And the chips? After specifically asking they be made extra cripsy, they arrived undercooked, limp & cool. I sent the dish back, asking they be replaced with extra crispy. When it came back, the only improvement was that they were fresh out of the basket hot, but nowhere close to extra crispy. Sad.
The lobster fettucine was ok, but lukewarm. The steak over cooked as was the broccoli that came with it.
The best thing about the meal was the biscuits (which were as predictably delicious as always) and the beverages.
Frankly, I'm not sure I'll be back. So disappointing, particularly give we'd gone to have dinner in memory of a beloved family member, who'd loved it there.
