Red Lobster - Odessa
Having a reservation and having to wait 25 minutes to be seated was my only issues. Our waitress was awesome, believe we've had here before. Food on the point. Overall great
Food was timely, delicious! Server was attentative!
We don't normally go outside our comfort zone. Don't get me wrong I don't mind driving a great distance for virtually no reason. Service was great, food was great. I will definitely be back.
Reserved my spot to be put on the waiting list, showed up to the restaurant and they told me they were barely going to put my name on the waiting list, I told the waitress that I was already in line on the list since I did use open table, she told me it didn't matter. 😭 wait was not long since restaurant was not full, our order still took 50 min. And they forgot our sides so we had to remind our server. We requested a happy birthday dessert for my daughter and they also forgot, they just brought me the check.
Clean. Quiet even though it was a full restaurant. The booths offer more privacy which is nice. Our 3 meals/appetizer/wine and staff were all exceptional. Highly recommend.
I put my name on the wait list online since they don’t take reservations. Still waited about 30 minutes. I ordered a beer in the bar area while waiting for our table and it was cool at best. I prefer cold beer as do most. The food was good but the entire restaurant needs a facelift. I felt bad for the employees. They looked as tired as the decor. Short handed.
I think the prices are a bit high. Place is always packed.
The wait staff was nice and very friendly. The food took a little longer than expected to come out but it was worth the wait.
Service was good; food was delicious and the biscuits were a hit! Will be back.
We had a part of 5 and I just loved using the app Open Table! Got in in a matter of 10 minutes!
My experience was straight garbage. It took 25 minutes before a server even acknowledged us. The another 15 just to get drinks. The whole experience was just straight garbage. Tried to take my wife to celebrate our special occasion but Red Lobster failed on all fronts. I will never visit this horrible sorry excuse for a restaurant again.
The service and food were excellent
Disappointed in the online reservations.
Arrived 15 minutes earlier and let them know we were here. Was told it would be 15 minute wait. Ok, that is the time we booked. We waited 35 minutes. People coming in after us were being seated. I finally asked and what she told me is our online reservations started at 5:45 which means we just get in line at that time! The waiter did not tell us about endless shrimp special.
Should not have waited to be seated for an hour with Open Table priority seating.
I was upset with the hostesses due to me and my fiancé had arrived and checked in through open table app. We still had a few minutes to wait which was fine. A couple walked in 10-15 minutes after us and asked for the wait time and they got out on the list after us. The hostess called them and sat them ahead of me and another couple that was there before the couple That just got seated. Both us went up to hostess stand and asked her why they got seated ahead of us. The three girls up front look confused and said oops we’re sorry and they said they were going to find us tables. At this point, I was frustrated and annoyed. They found two tables and cleaned them off and finally sat us and the other couple waiting. Our waiter was nice but lacked knowledge of the menu. We asked him about certain items and drinks and he didn’t know anything about them and just said I’m sure it’s good. Our appetizer came out and was disgusting. We ordered the artichoke dip and it tasted like cream of mushroom with spinach thrown in it was gross. We still had to pay for it even though we didn’t eat it and said it wasn’t good. My fiancé ordered a house salad and all that came out was lettuce and croutons they didn’t have cheese or onions. When we asked the waiter said they didn’t have onions but he did bring us a side of cheese but we didn’t understand why the cheese wasn’t on there in the first place. Overall was not a good experience and the only thing that I can say good was that the waiter did check on us a lot, refilled our sodas and our main meals did come out good.
I set up a priority seating and when we arrived they said that it didn’t mean anything to sign up on open table and our wait would be an hour.
Place our name on the list 10 minutes before we arrived. Waiting time to check in was 645 pm. Checked in with the hostess and said it would be 20 minutes. As we patiently waited, I noticed people that were behind me that put there name on the list were being seated before me and it was now 720 pm. I understood if it was slow and the time was missed and everyone that was checking in behind me were not being seated and I would have waited a little longer. But with 4 parties at this point being seated, I went and question the hostess and she did not have a clue what was going on. Then she said it was going to be another 20 minutes on top of that and will accommodate us by moving us up. We finally sat down at 735 pm, took the waiter an addition 15 minutes to get our order (we placed both our drink and food order at the same time) . We sat patiently waiting for our food and we had to complain to the manager and she just said, look there is your food and left. We told here we have been sitting around since 735 pm and didn't get our food till 840 pm and we told our waiter to give us our check also because we had to be home by 9 pm (plus the order was wrong and the waiter said he can correct this but we told him we need to leave). We finally received our check at 852 pm and I paid the ticket with no complaints or corrections due to our time constraint. Then he realized he forgot my dessert as part of my 4 course meal. So many things have gone wrong and the manager was made aware but was not in the mood to deal with the situation and on top of that still charged me $58 for my family which we didn't get to eat. We eat out quite frequently and she knew the situation and most managers would have addressed the situation but instead hid from our presence. We physically had to go look for her in another section of the restaurant. I am not sure how this situation would be rectified unless the manager was replaced or terminated.
Had a wait. Hoped to wait in the bar. The bar was tiny had only about 5 chairs bars were dirty.
Staff was very nice. They apologized for being short staffed. Thanks to open table our wait was not very long compared to others.
Red Lobster Odessa is one of our favorite restaurants. A lot of other people like it too based upon the wait time every time we visit. I had high hopes when I saw Red Lobster Odessa on Open Table. I signed on for a seven-thirty table. Red Lobster explained that it was not a reservation, just putting us on the wait list. That was fine with me. When we arrived, the front desk didn't seem to know what Open Table was. They put us on the wait list. The bottom of the wait list. After a forty-five minute wait we were taken to a table in a room that had an abundance of empty tables and booths. After that things were fine. Service was good. Food was good. The price was right. It was a lot more quiet than usual because of all the empty spaces. My time on Open Table was a total waste. I would have received the exact same treatment without Open Table.
