Don’t bother with reservations. They don’t use them
The fried shrimp and biscuits are good. The roasted vegetables were chewy and did not seem freshly roasted. The lobster in butter sauce was tasteless.
Disappointed in the prereservation. Arrived at Norman Ok location and was still put at the bottom of the list.
Let me start with the positive, our waiter was great.Everything else was not. The food took forever and they were not busy. My husband and I’s broccoli came out with black spots in the stem. Obviously not fresh and had been sitting around for awhile. My and my nephews food was ok but not great. Mine was cold actually, he enjoyed his. My Mother’s was good she said except for the shrimp which was like rubber. Overall it was subpar at best And way overpriced. It was my nephews birthday and he enjoyed his so that was good, but we won’t be back.
I have never had smaller crab legs then the snow crab legs I ate at red lobster this last week. My fiancé got the wrong meal, he did not order shrimp he ordered crab but received a large platter of shrimp. None of it tasted good, we probably will not be back this was about or fourth time there this summer and none of them have been great. We have so many other choices for wonderful food. I think we will skip this one.
Our server was not very efficient (Her name is Corey); she was very nice, but seemed overwhelmed. It took her 40 minutes to get our salads after we ordered. Then, we noticed that everyone around us was getting their food, including a party of 12, and they all arrived after us. We arrived at 6:00 and at 7:15 still didn’t have our food. I know weekends are busy in restaurants and don’t mind waiting, but when everyone else that arrived after us was getting their food in 15-25 minutes and we weren’t, something is wrong! When I asked the server, she said it was coming up then. The food still hadn’t came at 7:30, so I went and got a manager. She was very nice; had our food out immediately, but one of the steaks was ice cold. We sent it back and a chef brought it out. Nice touch there.
I was surprised that the manager didn’t do some “service recovery”. Didn’t offer us a discount or anything like usually happens.
Not sure we will be back to this particular Red Lobster. There’s another location which is a little further from our house, but makes it worth the drive.
Food quality doesn’t seem to match prices.
