   We did get priority seating but we’re given a small table in a corner of the main room. Our server never once checked on us. with us having to wave emphatically to get her attention. Although she did enter and leave the dining room to attend to other parties, she Never looked in our direction and as I said never actually checked on us. In turn the service was slow and frustrating. My compliments to the Runner who did all she could to tend to us.

   As expected. Nice crab dinner, only bad part was some smelly potatoes under the crab legs. Next time i will ask for an extra plate to put the potatoes on and remove. The Bardi crab is the best!

   In general, the best thing about this restaurant was the attentive service. The portions were a good size, but my salmon was almost raw, my friend’s lobster & shrimp tacos included sauce all over when she specified sauce on the side, the pieces of shrimp & lobster were teeny & the clam chowder had few, if any, clams. My friends all love this restaurant, but I struggle to understand why.

   They were out of several items. Server tried to give away the house. But will not be going back. Very outdated, needs a remodel

   MATTHEW OUR SERVER WAS EXCELLENT. FOOD WAS CLOSE TO EXCELLENT EXCEPT LOBDSTER BISQUE WAS TOO SALTY. THE CHEF SHOULD TASTE IT FIRST BEFORE SERVING IT. OTHER THAN THAT EVERYTHING WAS 5 STAR.

   Last night, my husband, myself, and a good friend dined at Red Lobster in Montclair. We had an unusual situation, which I explained to the person who answered the phone. His name was J.T. He had a positive, friendly attitude. He was very accommodating. Once I explained the situation, that I can’t stand up for more than a couple of minutes as they don’t take reservations for parties of three (not sure if they take reservations for larger parties) and that my husband and our friend were still tending to business, J.T. took the lead from there. The food, service and atmosphere are all very good. Even with a chain restaurant, every location is different and to have a great staff can make a tremendous difference.

   Everything was delicious and the service was outstanding. Eric was my service and he couldn’t have been nicer. Extremely knowledgeable re:menu and many suggestions. Service with a smile seems to be his motto. I’ll definitely return and make sure I always request him.

    The staff was very attentive and added to a very enjoyable time. The food from the appetizers to the full meal was awesome and we were very pleased. We will be back.
