Red Lobster - Maple Grove
Not filled to capacity yet it took 15 minutes to be seated and after ordering our drinks it took 15 minutes to get them.
Love the king crab legs. They were crazy busy, but took good care of us
If you are using Open Table, you need to verify they check you in. We went, checked in with the hostess stand, were told 15-20 minutes, waited that time then check in to see how much longer and the lady said 20-30 minutes - which she told the person after me who just walked in. Apparently the four people working the hostess stands can't use their technology. The main hostess was a very rude, curt blonde who was ignorantly telling people 20-30 minutes then telling people waiting for that time the same over and over---a guy before us had the same happen--when he checked time with her, she removed him from the list (he was sitting at the bar behind her and she watched him sit - then claimed she thought he left???). Talked to a manager, young Asian male, who was incompetent. Essentially said hmm, that's too bad, oh well. Said we will seat you then sat another party. The guy in front of us joined in--took them 10 minutes to seat them in one of two - 2 person tables that had been open the whole time. A second female manager came out and was great. She seated us and comped some apps then offered desserts. The waiter was wonderful-Nathan. They should replace the front staff because the food and wait staff was great. The second manager was great. The first one should not deal with people - not as a manager.
As the person with me said, it was good but not worth the earlier situation. Guessing we may not return or if we do-it will be after a long long while. Try a different Red Lobster.
They did not have any biscuits til the very end of the meal.
The actual service was slow although there were a lot of empty table. The server for got our bread which I was looking forward to. The bar drinks took forever to be made. My food was great but my partners crab was over cooked.
Although we had a 5:00 PM reservation using OPENTABLE, and we arrived about 4:50, it was 5:30 before we were seated. I am certain there were many couples seated before us who did not have reservations. Red Lobster didn't honor the reservation; so I wouldn't bother dining there again, nor would I recommend them to anyone.
We celebrated NY eve early and had a wonderful time.
We had a really great meal.It was a very busy Christmas Eve but the service was outstanding! Our server Linda was incredible. The food was delicious and came out hot and quick. One of our best experiences here!
We went for lunch and all of us had the Soup, Salad, and Cheddar Bay Biscuits lunch with a Coconut Shrimp appetizer. It was quiet and the food was good. Our server was the bartender. He was great with anything food related, but it was a struggle to get refills on beverages. The manager got them for us. He was very nice and helpful - just not paying attention to drinks if they weren’t alcohol based.
Waitress submitted wrong order for one of our meals. When I finally got the rock lobster it was tough and chewy. Hair on my shrimp. Waitress never came back to ask if we needed anything else or even a refill on drinks (received initial drink order and nothing after that).
Service was really slow and the food was not sad
Used open table for our reservation and checked in prior to our time. Waited over 20 minutes and saw numerous parties come in after us without a reservation that were seated prior to us. When I brought this to the attention of the hostess she said ‘Oh, I see what happened” and told us we would be the next party seated which we were. We waited over 10 minutes to be greeted by our waitress all while a manager was standing at the next table chatting with guests. The whole experience was very frustrating!
Aidan was a superb waiter. Great and prompt service’
Great server and food!
Decent meal. Bartender was clueless. Restaurant has a martini on it's menu...picture and all...but has NO martini glasses. Bartender had to ask servers how to make it. We were sitting right by the bar so heard the conversation. He asked if it should be served over ice and said, "Well it's all alcohol, so it will be good to water it down anyway." Seriously??!!!
Our waitress, Molly, was absolutely amazing! Great personality, knowledgeable and helpful...cracked my crab for me. Food was excellent. Highly recommend!!!
Had a great meal for Easter! Was not crowded like every other restaurant was that day!
Aidan I hope your back feels better after carrying out the 3lbs lobster. Excellent service. We have a great time and the food was great. Thank you!
Service was ok, they weren’t super attentive. crab came cold like they forgot to warm it up. Disappointing for how much you pay and the fact that they should be great at seafood.
All was very good
Birthday dinner, excellent server.
Fish was over cooked, rolls were undercooked, some of green beans were overdone and some were undercooked. Usually food at Red Lobster is very good, but not this night.
Overpriced and over-rated. Lobster Fest was nothing to write home about and definitely not worth returning for. Stay local and avoid the big chains if you want a quality seafood meal.
It is a little pricey, but the food was good, good service also
Red Lobster was a disappointment this time. I have eaten here in the past with no problems. To start with when we arrived at the restaurant we found that we didn't really have a reservation, but, was on their wait list. So we were told that there would be a 20 minute wait. Ok. There was standing room only to wait. My husband was told that where he was standing was a walkway. not for standing. What, were we supposed to stand outside. We asked for a table away from the window, but we were seated in a corner booth with windows on both sides of us. We asked to move and were allowed to do so. Our waitress brought us water. When I picked up my glass it felt like there was crud on the outside. My daughter asked for new glassed and we were brought solo plastic cups. What?? That felt pretty tacky. I asked about why plastic cups and the wait person didn't answer me. So now I am not enjoying myself. We got our food and it was fine. While we were eating a wait person brought a tray of food for another table and was holding it over my daughters head. My daughter asked her to not do that. The wait person seemed to have a meltdown instead or saying sorry. (We had eaten at a different restaurant where food was dropped on a person in our party). One would be concerned about that.
I was really hoping using the OpenTable app would reduce the amount of wait time that we would have unfortunately they failed to text me when my table was ready so we still ended up waiting for an entire hour when we got there
Disappointed with service and food. Waitress was friendly but forgot our biscuits so had to remind her. The food was average, I ordered rice pilaf with my $25 lunch and received maybe two tablespoons of rice. Caesar salad was soggy and soaked in dressing (usually our favorite). Shrimp scampi did not have a good flavor at all. My husband had the lobster trio and it was way over cooked. We have tried this red lobster off and on again hoping this time would be better but for the price not worth it. We will not go back. Our lunch was $90.00 with tip because we both had a lobster entree.
Service was fabulous - Amy was a great waitress who was very attentive, detail-oriented, and not too overbearing. Lobster Lover's Dream was melt-in-your-mouth AMAZING - they need to keep this on the menu permanently!!! My husband got the maple-glazed chicken and enjoyed that as well. Will definitely be back before Lobsterfest ends (I think she said 2 or 3 more months)!
Good service, standard Red Lobster quality food. Seating ok
Such a good waiter!!! Makes all the difference in going out to eat... especially with a toddler! He was so friendly and accommodating!!! Our food was delicious.... we don’t go out for seafood often so it was a real treat. A great holiday memory for this family!! Thank you!❤️👍👏
Fantastic service and wonderful food!
More than deserved, this is a lobster serving McDonalds. Do not go here. You will regret your choice. These place really sucks. Last time I was at a RL was 10+ years ago. I have nothing better to say this time either. Ghetto fab!
Red lobster is always hit or miss. This time was a miss. The daiquiri was basically just a sugar drink with no alcohol in it and the food was a bit of a disappointment. Stale and hard biscuits. Clumpy undercooked lobster bisque soup. And they forgot one of the sides. Overall, it’s red lobster and it’s okay, but normally it’s better than it was this last time.
Can always depend on a good meal, but I think the decor is ready for an update and it didn’t seem as clean as other times we’ve been there.
Meghan was an amazing waitress. So patient, kind & friendly!! I am definitely going back!!
The cheddar bay biscuits were hot and fresh, the garlic shrimp scampi was voted as the table favorite, and I really liked the champagne vinaigrette on the garden salad. The only disappointment was that we all agreed the new sesame-ginger shrimp wasn't very flavorful, but luckily one bad dish isn't a problem with endless shrimp. The last red lobster I went to disappointed me and I wasn't sure I would go again, but this one has revived my appreciation! I also appreciate the extensive list of fun non-alcoholic beverages, which can be hard to find in restaurants that are otherwise good for big groups of friends. We all had a great time.
Our food was over cooked/dry. Our server had too many tables and was hardly around. Had to wait for the check. Never again!!
So easy to reserve a table online. Food was outstanding and the raspberry cocktail was excellent.
Everything was good but the main meal was disappointing and not worth the time and money. I don’t plan to go back anytime soon since the main meal was so bad that It kind of ruined my mood to celebrate my wedding anniversary.
