Red Lobster - Kennewick
First, let’s start by saying that being put on the waitlist thru OpenTable does absolutely nothing for you. Red Lobster will not actually put you on the list until AFTER you arrive. We arrived 15 mins early because I did read that this was a waitlist and not a reservation, and also after receiving a text 2 hours prior from the restaurant stating they do not do reservations. We arrive and was told there was over an hour wait, I mentioned we had been put on the waitlist thru the app and they said oh let’s check you in, you’re still at the bottom of the list. So DO NOT waste your time with the waitlist. Second, their menu options are currently very limited. Third, the food was ok, the quality is not what it was 15 years ago but it was not terrible. Fourth, the wait staff was friendly and prompt, they graciously held the cake we brought in for my daughter’s birthday, and made sure we were taken care of the entire time. They really made up for the crappy service we received up front.
Great service, but presentation and quality of food wasn't as expected.
With presenting we still waited 30 min, the hostess had zero personality, there was no room at the bar to even order a drink while you wait. The food was mediocre at best, overcooked scallops and overcooked lobster. They'd only get one star except our servicer was nice, the biscuits were perfection and the shrimp was good.

We had a reservation for 5:45 pm arrived at 5:30pm saw people get seated after we had been sitting there until 6:10pm. People that arrived way after us getting seated before us!!!
Then we finally get seated and we had to wait and wait for everything !! Cold shrimp:((
We were there over 2 1/2 hours, not of our choice either!!
A real disappointment, it will be along time before we ever go back!!!
Red Lobster has REALLY gone down hill in the last 2 years.
Used the app four hours before the meal to get in the wait list. Got to the restaurant twenty minutes before the waitlist desired time. After an hour after the waitlist time, the hostess still said twenty minutes. We left at this time.
Twelve tables that arrived after us were seated before us, and the hostess was stuck on “it’ll just be twenty minutes.”
We arrived for our reservation and waited for 15 minutes before anyone came to check us in. There were 2 couples before us and more were coming in. The person didn’t know what to do because they couldn’t find the hostess. He acknowledged that we were open table and said he would get our table ready but didn’t mark that we had arrived so Open Table thought we didn’t show up. So we sat and waited and waited while everyone else who came in without a reservation was seated before us. We did not get priority seating!!! This was the worst service we have ever had at a Ref Lobster!! Once we were seated, finally, our server was wonderful!! The food was outstanding and we will return and hope for better service at check in!!
No dressing on the salad and then the “Bake” was swimming in juice, which was terribly messy when trying to eat. The shrimp were under cooked and the pasta overdone, so I suppose they were intended to balance out. They should invest in new place settings because what they have are worn out and disgusting.
Our meal was excellent. My only complaint is that RL does not really take reservations. We would have been better off checking in on line when we left our house than having a reservation. The hostesses clearly said that they don't really honor reservations.
