   Food did not look good and was not hot. Server was nice but took forever to get everything! They didn’t even know we were coming so we had to wait 20 minutes. Don’t use open table to call ahead!!! It was not good. Last time eating at Red Lobster!

   We didn’t get our biscuits until dinner came and they were burnt. Wait staff seem distracted, not very attentive.

   Not so friendly host. Seemed bothered to be doing his job. Ended up leaving because they couldn’t seat us. Poorly managed. Still I do not feel it is right to give a rating beyond that. I am sure the food is good. We like Red Lobster and wished we could have dined their for our son’s Birthday.

   The reason for the one-star rating is that Red Lobster is part of Open Table choices. One cannot make a specific reservation but can be placed (higher) on their wait list. We made a wait list reservation for today at the Red Lobster on Baymeadows Rd. in Jacksonville, FL. Upon entering the restaurant the greeter was a young man with catering manager on his uniform. He didn't have the faintest idea what Open Table was, confusing it with Red Lobster's reward program. Moreover, he told us he couldn't check us in anyway because the computer on the reservation desk was broken and had been broken for "months." In contacting Open Table, via Chat, the person with whom I was messaging was more than helpful, giving us the points due to us without any argument. Thank you! Beyond the restaurant gobbledygook, be aware that, if the $18.99 lunch is selected, your entrée could very well be served with your appetizer by an extremely harried wait person. While some of the menu items were good to very good (lobster bisque, shrimp cocktail, shrimp with bacon on skewers, Brussels sprouts as a side), the salmon was dry and the Caesar salad was not edible. In sum, not a great time at Red Lobster

   What a great experience for our celebration dinner! From the warm welcome as we arrived to the server’s attentiveness during our evening. The meals were fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. So glad we chose Red Lobster for our celebration!

   After thinking we were on the waitlist since we signed up through open table, the host said in a rude manner, “ No you don’t, we don’t do that!” So we kindly asked to put us on the waitlist. He told us it would be 45 minutes and that since we have 5 people, it may even take longer and it is probably not a good idea to dine with them tonight. Wow!! We left.

   Although the notes read that using OpenTable will put your name on the wait list. Restaurant staff said that they don't know about it and won't honor your place in line.

   The staff was nice but the service was not up to the standards of other Red Lobster locations we have been to. The ladies room was in very poor shape with no hand soap except a broken dispenser which appeared to have fallen off the wall. Very sad to see a Red Lobster in this condition.
