   There was a special meal on a board in the front. My friend asked the server about it. She seemed so confused about the meal that my friend chose something else. I asked for a refill on my iced tea and she took so long I became unable to eat further without a drink. The food tasted good and came out in a timely fashion.

   Food wasn’t as good as expected, based on the reviews read. Chowder should have been hotter, biscuit’s delicious but should’ve been out sooner. And of all the sides, why would coleslaw be late to arrive? And salty? Everything was too salty! Not good for the heart.

   They have removed most of my favorites since my last visit. I was surprised to see fresh oysters on the menu!

   It is not our nature to complain, but the experience was quite disappointing. While they were very kind to seat us in a quiet area, the food was sub-par. Some menu items were not available, the food was ill-timed and served lukewarm. The sides were burnt (and cold). Some of our items were missed entirely. The wait staff was quite green: they barely came around (though the restaurant was NOT AT ALL busy), blaming the cook for not getting things right. The manager was kind enough to address our concerns; however, we left hungry & disappointed.
