Servers were not the most expedient, but the meal was excellent!!
Juan was an excellent waiter, and the manager stopped to check on us a few times. It was a wonderful dining experience with myself and my friends. Food was fantastic! Highly recommend.
Overall, food and experience good. But wife asked for broccoli to be extra extra steamed but came out very crunchy. Asked to hange ir streamed very soft ... finally arrived after finishing meal, and taste very odd, didn't eat. All service by far the slowest we've EVER had at Red Lobster ... two full hours from being seated, with immediate order of iced tea and endless shrimp, no appetizer, no dessert, and only one additional shrimp refill. We like Red Lobster but will be awhile before we're back.
Even with priority seating, I had an 90 minute wait. The hostess could have warned me. I actually had to ask how much longer before I was seated.
Our waitress was great! However, the food wasn't the best. I wanted to send it back, but as a courtesy to my husband I didn't. We probably won't return to that location.
We don't frequent R.L. but met with friends who had gift cards. Wife & I tried the cedar plank Salmon & shrimp special. We both asked the salmon be prepared medium rare & each came out very well done When we told the server the kitchen had missed the mark on the salmon prep, he replied they really don't "do it that way, after saying nothing of the sort when we placed the order. wife's shrimp was under-cooked ....and thats hard to do. All in all, it was what we expected. 'Probably should have played to their strengths and stuck with the salad or maybe fried selections, their specialty. We'll probably make it back to either this or a different Red Lobster location but not soon. Service was good, staff was friendly & the place looked clean enough. Not that busy for a Friday evening @ 6:30pm when most restaurants near there are slammed.
So my Family & I decided to go out for lunch to Red Lobster in Centerville Ohio for her 25th Birthday, a very special mark in someone's life, right? I ordered the Coconut shrimp dinner, priced at $15.50 & she ordered a trio appetizer, priced at $13.00 which were supposed to consist of stuffed mushrooms, a shrimp cocktail & a few of the coconut shrimp (we weren't sure how many at the time) but, being that we both love coconut shrimp, she asked our waitress to ask her manager if she could switch out the cocktail shrimp for more coconut shrimp. When our meals came, I noticed that my meal, which cost $2.50 more, only had 2 more shrimp then hers, so I told our waitress that I was disappointed of this fact, so she got the manager for me. This is when the fun started. She proceeded to not only NOT fix the problem, but proceeded to in "sweet" manager way to point out the fact that she had done me a favor by allowing my Daughter to switch out her meal as she liked. Now folks, it wasn't about the shrimp, it was about the way she was so condescending, as if I should feel indebted to her that she allowed my Daughter to change what was on the menu for herself & told me they were already losing money by doing so...COME ON, REALLY?!
