I did the wait list for Red Lobster on open table. But when arrived they said it would be an hour wait because they only had two cooks and two servers. For a major Resturant like Red lobster it was hard to believe. I understand what can you do when workers don’t show up. The Manager and the other workers did a great job to serve us with no problem.

They forgot to check us in. Waited 45 min while others that came in after us were seated. Manager told us he would give a starter and left it on the bill. The waitress did take it off. Food took forever and was overcooked. No silverware on the table had to ask for it.

We had reservations at 7:30pm but didn’t get seated until almost 8:30pm. The front hostess was terribly rude and had an overall bad attitude towards everyone who walked in. She even smarted off to a child at one point while we were waiting in the lobby, who just simply asked her a question. Several couples who came in after us were seated before us, and we were told it was because we had a party of four instead of two. Which would make the servers have too many people. I don’t know the restaurant industry, but that definitely didn’t make any sense to me or my husband. Although I do have to say after finally being seated, the food was good, and our waiter was very accommodating and nice. I know all businesses are having troubles hiring and retaining staff right now, and the staff that is working is being highly overworked. But, the front hostess is the face of that business,
he/she is the first person paying customers come into contact with when they enter the business. There was absolutely no excuse for how she talked to the people coming in, myself included, much less a child, and clearly did not know how to manage the seating appropriately.

From the food to the service it was horrible. I haven't been here in a couple of years because of bad service but my kids wanted to go. We ordered 2 appetizers. The crab cakes came but we didn't have silverware. It took 15 minutes to get silverware. It was 4of us and when we got it it was 3 rolls with 2 forks in each roll, no knives or spoons. We still had not received our other appetizer. I told the waitress and you could tell she had forgotten about it. We got it just a couple of minutes before our main meal. It was myself, wife and 2 kids. One of my kids didn't get their meal. We didn't want to eat until he received his meal. About 10 mins later he received his meal and of course ours was cold by then. However it didn't matter because the food was disgusting. I've had better seafood out the grocery store freezer. Our bill was $98. We paid and got out of there asap. Afterwards I realized I paid an upcharge for bacon wrapped scallops and didn't receive it. But I didn't care I was not going back in that place. You are better of going to Mayflower or Captain Steve.

The front end hostess was friendly but unorganized. Was not following the prebooking priority booking as people who signed up after my group were seated prior. This happen three times. Once I complained was when we were seated. She opologized, but we waiting 1 hr with pre-booking before being seated. The wattress was training a new hire. She was more organized, very kind, and timely with our needs. The food was good, warm, and appeared fresh. The place was empty Im not sure why it was so slow. The kitchen was fully staffed it seemed as if there were more kitchen employees then floor team. They did have signs referencing that was a current issue. But I think they need extreme help with hiring. Corp should step in.

Reserved open table arrive 15 before reservation time. Was told didn’t matter about the open table . Had a greater than 50 min wait. Unable to initially seat our party of 8.
Open table time was for 2:45. Didn’t leave restaurant til 6:05. Kitchen was backed up!!!

Our server Pam was great however,had to wait constantly to get a table even though we made reservations at 2:30 did not get seated until about 2:50. My advice will be to put in a reservation 2 days prior to visiting because you'll be waiting at the door they lock it.

The waiter was slow. It took him about 10 min to come to table to get drinks. We ordered at same time we gave drink order. We waited about another 10 minutes to get our drinks. I watched the waiter in the back standing around and talking. He brought drinks with salads, less than 5 min later the food came. He never refilled our drinks. He came back to table at end of meal and said sorry I’m been too busy, but I kept seeing him socialize and stand in the kitchen. Worst service ever

Was booked for 830 with “priority” seating but hosts and managers didn’t seem aware that Red Lobster participated in Open Table. They kept asking if I called in the reservation and I said no I used the App. They had my reservation in the system and still made us wait an additional 15-20 min. Would have been longer had I not gone over and showed them my email confirmation. I also put on the reservation that we were celebrating a Birthday. No mention at all. None. Our server was great but we did find a hair on the lemon on our meal. Hairstyle are a form of expression and personality and I don’t have any problem with that. However dreads, super long braids and loose hair with no hairnet or hat when preparing or delivering food is opening yourself up for loose hairs to fall in food. And it happened.

I hope this is feedback that actually will make an impact towards improvement. Consumers have many options today.

We waited awhile for the food. Our waitress was very nice.
2 of us ordered the combination plates with coconut shrimp and fish. We were told the fish was flounder but it was not. Not sure what kind of fish it was but it was terrible. Over cooked with lots of garlic powder on it. The shrimp was seasoned with so much pepper and spice my mouth burned. One person got the chicken Alfredo that had zero taste. 2 people got the lobster and that was pretty good. The rest of us were very disappointed.

I have not been to a Red Lobster in a long time. Pretty disappointed. Lobster/crab roll was not up par to another restaurant chain. Alfredo sauce was limited and watered down. I don’t think I will go back any time soon.

My wife and I had a great dinner with excellent service. Red Lobster is not the fanciest restaurant, however, it is a great middle ground with delicious food!

My food was not hot enough, my daughter food had a hair on it. Server took it back, no excuses and took about 15-20 minutes to get another plate. It seems no one really cares about a HAIR on the food. Make me thinking that it is a regular problem. Will not go back.

Spoiled to set reservations so did not like the fact that once we arrived, had to wait 20 minutes before we were seated. The lobsters & shrimp we had were good. The mashed potatoes & kid's mac-n-cheeses were not but the cheese biscuits make up for that. Some of the fellow diners that were waiting were obnoxious & rude. Probably a better family friendly atmosphere during lunch times.
