Had a very good dinner, but ran into a few issues. Firstly we sat for almost 15 mins before being acknowledged by a server. By the time we did we made sure to order everything in one go. Next it took another 20 mins for bread and water. When my alcoholic beverage was delivered it wasn’t correct and I made them take it back (was literally missing all the ingredients except for the shot of bourbon in a big glass). Our food did come out in a good fashion and the server didn’t let it sit so it all came out hot, which was a plus. Server was probably tired and flustered and I wouldn’t call it a bad experience but didn’t create a memorable or significant overall experience, as far as service was concerned. Overall great food, service could’ve been better but not a bad experience by any means.

The food was cold, fish had bones, the salad was drown in dressing. I’d rather go to Bonny and Read. The servers were very nice and efficient.

So I’ve been here plenty of times including Valentines Day, but this time was different. I understand it’s a Friday night and it’s a bit busy, but there are a few things that just made the experience bleh! First off the food was great and not at all adding to the bleh part, no it was the service. We were seated fine, but it took almost 13 minutes to get a waiter. It started off fine, but she kept coming back with larger intervals and not even checking up on us. Our food took a long time to come out, odd because we ordered from the a la cart menu. When we got it we realized it had been sitting for awhile, not to mention forgot the salad. I ordered a refresher on my drink and water. We waited another 10 mins and finally got the water ourselves (we were in the bar area). By the time my drink came it was watered down from sitting and letting the ice melt ruining the whiskey making the top layer a diluted mess. Anyways the food is worth going for and our other times service was on point, but this waiter this time simply made a speed bump in our date night.
