Red Lobster - Calgary - MacLead Trail
Wanted to order the same meal we have every time but now told we can't have that. Food wasn't hot or of a high standard, biscuits were under baked. Not a good visit
Good chicken. Not so good steaks, but that’s what you get for a seafood restaurant.
Prices are high compared with similar restaurants with the same level.
Food was great. Anna, our server, was outstanding.
Excellent service and delicious food. Outstanding.
Our service Barb was super friendly with lots of knowledge on the meny and a great sense of humour! Food was great and loved the birthday surprise desert
Fish over cooked was like mush ,server forgot birthday request and prebooked reservation through this app and still waited 30 minutes for table which was the same for walk in
Had a great time. Food was good. It where we sat was freezing. Just kept getting told it will warm up. With 2 kids having to wear their coats through dinner. It didn’t warm up.
Waiter was the only good thing about our dinner. Food was bland fish had absolutely no taste to it. Chicken was rubbery. Just overall meh.
Was amazing food and amazing service! We had the best waitress, she made the experience that much better!
Had a great time there. They were very busy, and our reservation time was for 1730. We asked and they said 20min, which was acceptable. And true to their word, we were seated exactly after 20min. Server was wonderful, and food was awesome.
This is a review for open table, not red lobster.
I was eligible to redeem points, so I follows the open table links and submitted for points to be redeemed. Much later, I received a cheque from open table paid to the order of an open table restaurant. Well, it seems that this cheque is a pretty weird thing and that open table restaurants haven't seen this sort of think before. Usually, it it a gift card, they say, not a chq.
So, what am I do do with this cheque that no open table restaurant will accept as payment?????
Very very lame, I'd say!
As always, the food was excellent, served promptly, the portions were large.
Great for a seafood fix.
Overall it was a good experience. My one comment is that in an attempt to clean up another table, to get it ready for new customers, they proceeded to flip the table on its side so that they could vacuum underneath the table. I can appreciate their dedication to cleanliness but that was a little bit much. We were sitting right beside them and it was an activity that you would expect to see after hours. And not while we are dining right beside them.
The restaurant was loud and obnoxious. The seating is cramped. The staff are unprofessional. The calamari was smelled fishy, my lobster tail was over-cooked and the buns Red Lobster are famous for were under-cooked and doughy.
Great for a birthday party
