Red Lobster - Bloomington - American Blvd.
Wish you still had walleye!…but we found other wonderful choices…Our waiter Alex was the very best… made our experience fantastic!
Great and fast service
We reserved a table for 4:30 pm we arrived we were seated we also were given menu’s we ordered but the waitress noticed they we were given lunch menus but she said that we were able to order from that menu because it was their mistake we were never offered water but watched are waitress bring other tables water waitress came back 20 to 25 minutes later and said that we could not order off that menu that everything had switch over brought us out another menu said you have to it if this menu so we are thinking are food is being prepared and no after sitting 20/25 minutes you are just now telling us we have to reorder and we ordered way before the table in back of us but the got their food we are still waiting and what we ordered was the same thing that was on the first menu you said we could no longer order off we ask to speak to the manager but was told he or she was to busy . Recommend someone here no never to be treated the way we were treat . This was unbelievable I’m glade I was able to video this I sat back and watched this this was a very sad moment I will never return or send anyone else here
The menu was cut down, as expected, but done very well. The 6 of us all found favorites still available and everyone loved their meals! Our server, Kelly, took wonderful care of us, and with 6 elderly diners, it wasn't easy! All 6 of the fish and seafood meals were really delicious. With so many restaurants struggling to find good kitchen help now, this was a real success story. We'll be back as soon as possible!
Steak over cooked & calamari over fried- yet, rest was tasty. Like new menu choices, but miss the add-ons. Ambience always nice. We’ll be back!
Celebrated 84 birthday with whole lobster for Don and coconut shrimp for me, both excellent. Our waitress, Tina, made the occasion very special. We will ask for her in the future.
Thanks. Joan P
I had shrimp alfredo, Scampi and butterfly breaded shrimp with cocktail sauce. All very good, but WAY more food than I ordinately eat for dinner. My double T&T was good but they charge almost $10 for one. Past that, pretty good.
The crab legs are likely better at Chucky Cheese. Seriously they should be embarrassed to serve them
Food and service was excellent! We’ll be back soon. Table had sign on it saying it had been sanitized which was good. All staff had masks. Restaurant was clean. Disposable menu with many different options to choose from.
I want to qualify my recommendation. I would not recommend Red Lobster-Bloomington-American Blvd. to a friend right now, but I think they are just getting back in gear. They have a limited menu now, and are short staffed. So, I would say, wait awhile and try it. We have had good food and service there in the past, and I'm sure when they get back on track, that will come back.
We went for lunch, and it was quite dark in there for a lunch experience.
Very good service, food came out fast and cooked perfectly. Very good experience!
It wasn't crowded, we were on the priority list and got right in when we got there, didn't have to wait at all. Every other table is blocked off so I felt very safe (from Covid) there. As always the service and food were excellent. The triple berry sangaria is a definite must have. Loved my experience there and can't wait to go back.
Food was bland also not served hot my shrimp Alfredo was dry
Was not tasty
Had a great experience. We were seated right away and how server was super nice. Food came quick and was delicious!!
Tim our bartender and server did an excellent job. We really appreciate the great service! Thanks Tim!!.... Food, as always was outstanding.
They had no record of our OpenTable Request. Were told we'd have a half-hour wait. We waited outside. When the half-hour was up we were greeted half-heartedly by a manager who ignored my request for an allergy menu. The waitress seemed busy and not eager to do anything beyond the minimum. The food was passable, but not great. I don't know that I would suggest this location to others.
The food was good (as always) - I enjoy the clam chowder, the biscuits, the entre'
(crab legs) and a baked potato. Helpful server. The snow crab legs not as good as the
King crab legs they had years ago, but still tasty.
We had an interesting time during this visit. The website states that it is open longer than it actually is. When we arrived the host told us that it would be better if we had of made reservations by calling the restaurant instead of on Open Table. After we were seated it took awhile for a server to acknowledge us and bring us water, The supervisor on duty did stop by to speak to us because the server let her know that she was not very attentive to our table.
Birthday celebration. Food and drinks were not impressive. Service was good. Restaurant was clean. Just not impressed with the price compared to the meal and drinks that were served. We will go somewhere else next time.
It was a great place to meet friends and enjoy a nice meal and catch up.
Fantastic. Red Lobster has really raised their game.
We had a good meal. Waitress was friendly. The food was good, a little skimpy on shrimp in the shrimp Linguini Alfredo.
Horrible experience. Terrible waiter- never came back at all, forgot the appetizer- had a coupon from the app for a free appetizer. Tha red lobster app was down “server down” message- so they wouldn’t honor the free appetizer. Shrimp cocktail was grey like not cooked all the way. Crab wouldn’t come out of spongy soft shells and had zero taste. Used to love red lobster but will not go back- quality has become so terrible.
Went there on New Year’s Eve I did the call ahead seating which worked out very good. When I asked about the live main lobster the server told me not to get it because it wasn’t worth the money. Then proceeded to tell us that the pick your own what is the better deal. So we ordered steak lobster and shrimp for $33 which we thought. Then the bill came out and we realize we were charged an extra seven dollars for the steak. When the server came back we asked and she said oh I should’ve told you that’s an extra charge! When the food came out the lobster was dried out. I complained to the server and she was going to have a mgr stop over. That didn’t happen! She finally came back to the table and said she was putting another order in for another lobster. Meanwhile I waited and waited and waited and it was almost finished eating when my lobster came back out and that one was under done . The manager stopped by our table when we were leaving and I explained to her what had happened. She went to the office and came back with $30 in gift cards to reuse another time. We probably won’t even use them and would rather have had her take $30 off the bill .
We didn’t know what to expect on New Year’s Eve, but decided to head in as I was craving shrimp. Got there at 5 and it was already packed with an hour wait. About 20 min of waiting, I decided to open up my opentable app and sure enough, they had open priority seating 10 min away. I clicked on it and went to the front desk to let them know even though I was waiting I had priority seating, they seated us right after! I ordered a mojito and it was terrible, I actually sent it back and ordered a beer. But for as crazy busy as it was, my service was great and my meal was delicious.
On what could have been (and likely was) a hectic and busy Christmas Eve rush, we were treated well, our food came up quickly, and our waiter was great. Everyone seemed to be in a pleasant mood, and we enjoyed our time, as we always do. Thanks!
Made reservation, but still need to wait 30 minutes to get a table.
Delicious and delightful as ever! Our server, Ann, was new, but she did an excellent job - she's a keeper!
Food was fantastic and we had a server that was just as pleasant
Always good. The Rice Pilaf was not as tasty this time around. Be back
tuna poke was delicious! will definitely order that again next time!
Family Christmas celebration
Something has changed at Red Lobster and not for the better. The remodel at this location is an improvement for the better however there was no one there when we arrived. We had made a Priority seating reservation through open table and waited 5 min despite no one being in the lobby. The food was seasoned differently from the past and no suggestive selling was done by our server who was clearly overwhelmed.
Our wait was only 10 minutes vs. 40! We were in and out and off to a show with no worries about rushing.
Friday fish fry was an excellent value and service was prompt
We went for the endless shrimp. Very disappointing. We got plenty but most of it was overcooked, dry, hard, and tasteless. But I'm used to wild caught gulf shrimp. Said I wouldn't eat farm raised but did anyway. I won't go back. Even the biscuits weren't that good. They were undercooked and gooey inside with raw dough.
Endless shrimp special for a birthday is always great!
