    Nice small pub on a very busy road. Good size car park but remember to enter your reg number as you enter. Front half of pub for drinking back half for dining. Food was good quality, excellent on Early Bird (I think) part of menu. Staff were great carrying our drinks to our table as my balance was bad. Very happy experience and we hope to revisit when main road traffic a lot less

    We found the meal was good. We didn't like the bench tables and seating. The noise levels were too loud for diners.

    Sadly, no broadband available to enable sports channels to be viewed. Was hoping to watch the live rugby. Otherwise food and service ok.

    There was 14 of us precooked. The staff were very friendly especially Joely who looked after us really well. Everyone enjoyed the food and atmosphere. We have rebooked for next month

    The service was fantasty the food was good as well even though i didnt eat it all due to not feeling to good i would recommend the red lion to any one to Go for a meal Regards P Goodwin

    Never eaten there before we booked our Christmas meal. Food was delicious, timings between courses were good, food was served very hot and good portion sizes. Staff were very polite and friendly. My only niggle was the cheese board I ordered - I was expecting cheese , crackers , grapes but got baked camember and more bread . That being said we will definitely eat there again .

    We booked the festive menu for a large party. The food was delicious, plentiful and brought out promptly with a smile. Lovely Place.
