   There was 14 of us precooked. The staff were very friendly especially Joely who looked after us really well. Everyone enjoyed the food and atmosphere. We have rebooked for next month

   The service was fantasty the food was good as well even though i didnt eat it all due to not feeling to good i would recommend the red lion to any one to Go for a meal Regards P Goodwin

   Never eaten there before we booked our Christmas meal. Food was delicious, timings between courses were good, food was served very hot and good portion sizes. Staff were very polite and friendly. My only niggle was the cheese board I ordered - I was expecting cheese , crackers , grapes but got baked camember and more bread . That being said we will definitely eat there again .

   We booked the festive menu for a large party. The food was delicious, plentiful and brought out promptly with a smile. Lovely Place.

   Food nothing special very bland and a bit overpriced for what you get , one thing that did stand out is the place needs a very good clean

   Service and staff were really nice. The outdoor area is tired and worn. Food (Sunday roast) wasn't great, seemed it was warmed up and not fresh. It wasn't very hot, just warm. Not sure I would eat here again.

    Food superb. Staff excellent Noisy busy pub. Much quieter in the Conservatory where we ate.
