   Arranged to bring in a big group of 19 people. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was great and very reasonably priced and the location is great right in the middle of Bakewell but with lots of parking options.

   The barmaid was incredibly friendly and sociable. It seemed to come very naturally to her. A big thank you for being so nice.

   Terrible service and food. We were all squeezed into the corner of the bar even though there was a restaurant but for some bizarre reason it was closed off. We should have learned from our last experience there last year but we thought we would give it the benefit of the doubt. Thank goodness for The Wheatsheaf where we ate the following evening.

   Wow ,,,we are so sad your experiences with us havnt met your needs. We wish you'd have expressed this at the time of your visit so we would have the opportunity to resolve. We do struggle with large groups as the pub isn't huge and has different areas. We would love to welcome you again if your ever in the area but it does appear other pubs may suit you better.

   Very comfy beds, nice and clean. Plenty of drinks/ snacks in the room provided. Friendly staff. We had a meal and really enjoyed the food and drinks. Would stay again.

   We had an evening meal booked for Boxing Day and the food was really rather yummy. The whole evening was lovely and the staff were all superb too. Dog friendly and great atmosphere

   Christmas Day food was quite nice but not really worth the money. The main problem was the service, there wasn’t any so won’t be returning.
