    We had a wonderful evening here last night. A very special celebration with friends, though we’ll return for a date night. The server was attentive and friendly. Our food was exquisite! We enjoyed the bread basket, tuna tartare, Caesar salad, watermelon salad before dinner. Our mains were salmon, chicken, red snapper and steak all presented beautifully and perfectly cooked. We shared 3 sides- mashed potato’s, Brussels and asparagus all perfectly seasoned. Our drinks were delicious. We will be delighted to return!

    The dining room in the rear is noisy even with tablecloths! The food is excellent, prices are reasonable, portions are generous and staff is polite May just need a bit more experience. On line you are given two choices for seating but it is not clear which is the quieter rear dining room. Could be clearer as the bar room is really really noisy. But overall wonderful experience

    Great meal as always at Red Horse. Service is spot on as well. It is a bit noisy in the main dining room but otherwise absolutely love this place

    We shared the Bacon appi which was very good. We both also ordered the Caesar salad. They were dry and flavorless, and the croutons were a bit soggy. I ordered the Ribeye which was pretty good and so big I took half of it home. It came with a small salad that had no vinegar, just oil and salt it seemed. I also got the mushroom side dish which was very watery. My husband got the chicken which he liked, but the couscous that came with it wasn’t to his liking. Overall we had a nice experience but we won’t go back.

    burger was not great for 25$ English muffin to small for it hard to eat, probably will be a while before i return

    So the facility can be quite elegant, but the new design and decor dilutes the inherent elegance of the building. The service was excellent, starting with Danielle, our server, and throughout. The service is consistent with the potential elegance I spoke of, but the food, on the other hand, was a terrible disappointment. I ordered what turned out to be a simple chopped wedges salad, which was the highlight of my meal, notwithstanding that the plate had a thin layer of orange dressing on it under the salad, like the dressing you’d get when ordering a salad from a sushi place, not the dressing that would or should go on a wedge salad. My wife ordered a seafood tartar appetizer, which she liked, even though it had a pretty thick layer of what looked and tasted like sour crème covering the top. For dinner, I ordered the $72, 22 ounce steak, which, though not anywhere near 22 ounces, was only OK, and horrifyingly was served atop a layer of what tasted exactly like A1 steak sauce, which I would NEVER put on even a decent steak. My wife ordered an $54, 8 ounce filet, which most closely resembled a meatball because it was about 2 1/2 inches and spherical. Again, nowhere near 8 ounces and disappointing in terms of flavor. For desert, I got the strawberry shortcake, which was OK, and my wife got the crembroulet, which she barely touched because she said it had little to no taste. And it was $315. I get the sense this place is struggling to figure out what it is. We may well go back someday, but if we do, we’ll order burgers and fries, because it may well be a very nice burger joint with amazing service, but it’s not a fine dining establishment the way it operates now. Next time we want a great steak, we’ll go back to Ruth’s Chris where they know exactly how to do that. We’ve had David Burke food a number of times, and have typically been impressed, but the Red Horse needs to figure out what is wants to be and get it right. So far, I’m sorry to say, it isn’t.

    Had a wonderful dinner here last evening ! From start to finish the service and experience was excellent! Starting with creative cocktails, followed by delicious appetizers , the pacing of our dining was perfect. We ended on a “sweet” note while indulging ourselves in dessert and cappuccinos ! The atmosphere is vibrant, spirited and sophisticated . The Res Horse is already calling me back!!!
