We are now accepting limited reservations for Lunch, Brunch, and Dinner. Our patio and bar seating are first come first serve. We are 21 & up; starting at 8 pm.
The outdoor dining was cozy especially when the night lights came on. There are 15 or less dining tables and fortunately we arrived in time to get a table. The indoor seating area was not appealing - foul bar odor. The other outdoor seating was wooden “bleachers” and about 6-8 bar stools overlooking Frankfort Ave. Our server was very kind and accommodating. I tried the wren bird cocktail ($9) but would not recommend - sweet and tasted similar to what a floral perfume smells like. My friend had beer. We tried a couple of appetizers - elotes fritters and fried pickles. The fritters were delicious! The pickles were sweet pickles, greasy and too heavy in our opinion. We shared the recommended shrimp tacos and a burger - average at best. The only reason we’d return to The Hub is for the outdoor patio and a cold beer.
