The service was excellent but I found that the chef was trying to do too much with the food. Too many spices, sauces and flavors to the point everything tasted similar. Prices were moderately high and very high for the wine. The staff was very nice.
Overall it was a good experience. However, I felt the food was over salted. In particular the lounge fries. great flavor, but even our guests said that they were too salty to eat. The fried Brussels sprouts were also very salty, but great flavors.
We've been to RF many times, the food is amazing (esp at brunch) and typically the service is good. However, we had made a noon reservation, waited almost an hour to get seated, and then another hour for our food. Our waiter was inattentive, overwhelmed, and basically did not do a good job. An expediter delivered our second round of drinks which took 30 minutes and our food. Waiter did very little, we had to ask him to order! It was definitely disappointing.
We enjoyed a relaxing Sunday brunch.
We shared small plates and large plates. Every bite was better than the one before, and we started at excellent. Cocktails we very good too.
As usual, it was a great experience! I appreciate that they buy and support organic and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.
This was my first visit, but certainly not the last. The service was incredible, the food very tasty, and the ambiance was nice. We went for brunch, but will absolutely be back to try the dinner menu.

Brunch at Red Feather is a must. I always make a reservation because it can be VERY popular, especially during the summer months on their patio.
Great food options, and they seem adaptable. For example, I could have done with a lot less grease on my trout.
Only complaint is the cramped space for seating.
My wife and I have been longstanding patrons of Red Feather and have so enjoyed the location and ambiance. Unfortunately, the changes made the menu as "weak" at best. Used to go there a couple times a month; now, twice in last 2 years as menu is limited and weak. They removed one of their BEST dishes...............plank salmon and it has only gone downhill since.

Always go to Bittercreek, but have never been here. Decided to go for my wife's Birthday dinner. The food and service were outstanding and they even brought us complimentary Beignets. We will will definitely return.
One of my favorite brunch spots in town. Always such great food and best breakfast burrito I’ve ever had. The staff is always so friendly and great. Price is great too!!!
They have a wonderful brunch with homemade everything. Even the jam for the crumpets wasn't out of a jar. The oatmeal soufle is amazing. Upstairs seating is warm and cozy with good background music. The service is excellent.
It was my wife and I’s 6th wedding anniversary, we had a wonderful server (forgive me I’ve forgotten her name!) although she was vegan like myself. Which was very helpful in choosing items off of the menu. Overall 10 out 10 experience and we look forward to coming back again very soon! Thank you all VERY much!

You'd have a tough time finding a better brunch in Boise for this price range. Very good food at a pretty reasonable price. Also loved the Mimosa Carafe and the Bloody Mary
though the mushroom toast was tasty,it was barely warm,and the egg was over cooked..pretty bummed..the Germain Mimosa was excellent..waiter never checked on us until end of meal,so I had no chance to have dish fixed..pretty bummed..but still love the place!!
This was my most disappointing experience at Red Feather. This restaurant is our favorite place to go do we booked our Valentines dinner there. But it was so busy that the service suffered. No one came to our table when we arrived for about 10 minutes, then we were hardly checked on or paid attention to the entire meal. It was disappointing, but the food was great.
As always the whole experience was beyond superb! Service was above board. Ambience is always on point. And the drinks...mmm

Red Feather is one of my favorite downtown Boise spots. The food is always amazing. The cocktails are fantastic. The ambiance is casual-chic. It's just a great place to eat or even just grab a drink. We both got the lamb burger this time around. It was so flipping good. Seriously. Delicious.
Crafted cocktails were excellent..Loved all the seasoning in the several dishes we ordered..but maybe the best thing was our waiter Brodie..he was so amazing!!!!
My family and I frequent the Red Feather on weekends for brunch. The service is excellent and the staff is super friendly. We also really enjoy their menu and found it to be very flavorful.

One of the best spots in Boise! The service is always great. The food is amazing (I recommend the spicy lamb burger or the grilled kale) and they have some of the most creative cocktails in town.
The mushroom appetizer was superb. Service was great. The pickled onions overpowered the trout dish so I didn't eat much of it. Wine was good, too.
Our server was very observant and intuitive. He made sure the food was just what we wanted!!
Food always taste good but this is the second time I have gone for brunch and my meal comes cool. Not cold but not warm/hot like the meal should be served.
We had the best service from Bodie. He really made the experience great for us. Food was really good. The chef had just spent the week in New York recreating the menu. Everything we had was excellent. The bartender made great drinks and the wine list was one of the better wine lists we’ve seen in Boise. Overall Bodie was the key to making a great night at Red Feather.
Our waiter, Bodie was terrific and very knowledgeable of the items on the menu and had a great personality that made our evening even more enjoyable. We loved the kale dish as well as the beet salad along with our entrees of smoked trout w/ wild mushrooms and NY strip steak w/ risotto. Amazing food and wonderful waitstaff!

New Year’s Eve
I know it's December in Boise but it was really cold in the restaurant. Everyone around us was wearing coats. The food was just average, with the two appetizers we chose (Brussels sprouts and mussels) both covered in excessive sauce. We couldn't taste the Brussel sprout or mussel.
