Red Door Woodfired Grill - Leawood
Celebrated Valentine’s Day on the 16th as my significant other travels during the week for work. Had reservations for 8:30. We were seated right away so that was nice. Server took a while to ask for our order. I ordered the prime rib and it was delicious. Came with a wedge salad, wasn’t a fan of it. Enjoyed the desert with my boyfriend. Pecan pie with vanilla ice cream. Duration was 2 hours long. Had a great time with my boyfriend and had good conversation. Will be back again.
As always, good food and service with a lively bar and restaurant scene.
Service was a little slow and got messed up a few times even though there was nobody there- it was 11am on a Saturday
Very fun evening. I might suggest you upgrade your top tier wines but the Justin was good & reasonably priced.
The Prime Rib Dinner was very tasty.
Our server was pleasant. She was attentive when not standing around visiting with other servers. We were enjoying our salads, maybe half done, when our entrees were delivered to the table. We were asked to rearrange our table to accommodate entrees that should never have been brought to the table. The servers attempted to remove my wife's salad to make room, she told them she wasn't done.
This should NEVER happen.
One of our favorite local spots. Generally, quite good. This time, we had a not so good experience.
Ordered the Boulevard Beer Battered Fish and Chips. Got instead some cod that was breaded. Cod was still good but breading aint battered, as we told the server and the manager. Lame excuse was they had not yet "updated" menu. Disappointing. So, wouldnt order that again if you are a battered fish and chips fan.
Took family out for Valentine’s Day and the food was great and the service was excellent
Amazing but fealty like I overpaid
The food is always good, the service was wonderful, and the atmosphere was perfect!!!
Great food, happy hour and service in a neighborhood setting.
All was well except you had run out of mustard according to Jordan our server. Never heard of a restaurant running out of mustard.
Greet place to meet friends and have a drink a great burger for $15.00. Been several times food always good and the staff very attentive. The food this time was not even hot, more luke warm....
Great service and food! Noisy, as usual, but worth it!
My husband and I have several favorites on the menu. DIL wasn’t very pleasd with fish and chips...said very little fish and lots of breading. Other than that and requested holding olives on Julie’s chicken for me - and getting olves - all was well.
Our experience was good as always. There is something for most anyone on the menus.
Stephanie was excellent, as always.
Very limited gluten free menu, though steaks and burgers—Red Door staples—could likely be prepared gluten free with minor modifications. Guest that ordered the GF steak salad liked the entree. Meatloaf sandwich was good. Friendly service, enjoyed the Sunday half price wine.
Our server seemed less than enthusiastic to be there and overall didn’t really care much about taking care of us. Several times she would disappear for a good 10-15 minutes, leaving us waiting a long time to get what we needed.
I ordered the whiskey soaked prime rib prepared to medium rare. The prime rib comes with a salad...salad didn’t come until after i asked for it which also just so happened to be when the meal hit the table. Worst part was for $25 prime rib i expect the meat to be juicy and cooked to order...whereas my medium rare request came out way past well done and bone dry. I didn’t even get a chance to complain, because when the waitress came by to check on how the food was everyone was already finished with their meal, oh and she already had our checks in hand. Poor service and poor quality food means I’ll probably stick to something else next time.
The steak had no flavor and wasn’t cooked right. I feel like for as much as we paid the food would have tasted a lot better
Server was a bit inexperienced, but the food was good and it was enjoyable.
Allie was great!
The only problem is there were tons of little bones in the salmon, haven’t had that happen before.
This was my first visit. The restaurant was busy, but the noise level was low. I saw people having business lunches and others were like me and just there for a meal. I had the tomato soup and salad combo with chicken strips. Everything was great! The server was there when I needed him and not there when I didn’t need him. I will definitely go back.
Great food, service and family friendly local find.
Food was fresh and delicious. RDG never disappoints.
Our server, Lisa, was perfect. Did everything we needed and let us girls just chit chat away.
Always impressed with Red Door. The food is always delicious.
Red Door is one of our go to restaurants. I love so many of their appetizers along with their dinner menu.
Best server who offered up Wonderful suggestions for apps and dinner.
Excellent as always. We frequent this restaurant / location for jalapeno chicken on Thursday nights!
Great food and service. The casual environment and great happy hour. It is a neighborhood treasure.
Bad service! I feel the manager did more work than the actual server did. She was very unfriendly! Ordered a Moscow Mule and it was terrible! Sent it back and got a Mojito instead and it was terrible to! Did have a $5 Burger it was a Monday night and it was pretty decent. Probably won't go back!
Food and service were great. This is my third time since discovering it a month ago.
Warm atmosphere, great service, variety of choices!
Excellent food, excellent service, and prompt seating with the reservation. Also used the $10 "bonus" gift certificate we got with a $50 one.
Great food and service
Amazing food and great service. Kudos to our server Logan.
Good food, chill atmosphere and great prices
Caesar salad was drenched in dressing that tastes like mayonnaise. Breakfast burrito had a weird lemon flavor
Fries were cold and undercooked, food was extremely greasy and the service was slow. I have been to other Red Door locations and loved it, I will not be back to this location.
