Comfort food with some elevated special foodie elements. Amazing seasonal drink options!
Most definitely, Red Chair has a great atmosphere, friendly staff and an assortment of dishes to choose. Burger had excellent flavor! Happy Hour pricing on a Sunday as well.
Great sunset view!
Wyatt was a great waiter
The poor review is because Red Chair was closed. We made the reservation online, but when we arrived, there was a page taped to the door that the restaurant would be closed that day..for..... Both Red Chair and Open Table need to coordinate better. Since we were inviting our children for dinner, we had to scramble to find another venue. This has not happened before with Open Table, so the assumption is that Red Chair did not do their preparation.
Quality has severely degraded over last 6 months. My pork cutlet was more like a pork loin and flavor on all other dishes was blah and just covered in oil. No wait on a Saturday night in the summer with their awesome patio tells you this place is just counting down until they aren't sustainable.
Miss the old menu and some of the favorites that have been removed. Also we made a reservation specifically so we could enjoy the upstairs views but were stuck in a corner downstairs where it was so loud we couldn't hear ourselves think let alone talk. When we requested perhaps to sit upstairs we were told those tables were for larger parties. Our food was a touch cold too. Not the best visit ever to Red Chair but maybe staff was struggling because it was a busy Friday night.
We had a great Father’s Day afternoon late lunch out on the outdoor patio. Our server was quick, friendly and helpful. Love the red chair for a stop after a soccer game or a midweek lunch. Service is always super friendly and great variety of food options.
This was just what we needed! After tornado of a week which included a broken bone, two teething children, house guests, miserable weather, and a painful work week, my husband and I needed something quiet. Much to our surprise, Red Chair was fairly empty on Sunday evening. It was quiet. There were no screaming kids or rowdy patrons. The views were spectacular. Our waitress was pleasant, but didn't hassle us, even though we sat at our table for waaaaay too long. It was a relaxing, calming, pleasant way to reconnect. The food was decent, but the place... It was exactly what we needed.
We went for brunch. There were very few options and they were tasty enough but quite expensive for what we got. There are much better places in town.
Food was great overall, the Thai salad was dry but they brought out sides of peanut sauce. Our waitress looked harried and when asked for a kids menu with crayons took 10 minutes and forgot the crayons. The kids meal also came out last to the table, which I feel is a poor service technique.
Bloody Mary was delish, went for brunch. The brunch menu has decreased in items from the last time I went, but was still a nice meal.
The food was great and our server was fantastic our food was fast and easy
Our family had been long time supporters of Red Chair and have always appreciated the friendly service and good food.
However It seems the reorganization which seemed to occur mid/late 2018 lost some of the personal touch that it had previously with familiar faces and a true appreciation of the customers and overall satisfaction. We will continue to support this business as it’s local and hope they continue to strive for exchange and look to their frequent customers for info. Overall a restaurant worth visiting and supporting local businesses.
It was good when we walked in. The floors were nasty under the tables and the waitress poured my drink into my friends lap while she was in an extremely expensive dress. They got my are wrong and when I pointed it out they just took it back and took off the stuff that I didn’t want. And then they came back with stuff on there that I still didn’t want on there and they said oh yeah like I’ll replace the bacon.
Great service! Love that they have a full bar and a coffee bar plus fun foods. I will go back.
Fantastic brunch, friendly service, and beautiful Mountain Views
The waiter was very efficient but the food took forever to come. We’ve been here many times and think this was the last time. Food was ok.
We LOVE the Red Chair and consider it our "local". The food is great (burgers, steak and fries, and fish tacos are favoritea), and the atmosphere is fun/casual. It is our go-to place.
Food was not up to my expectations - the chicken fried steak wasn’t very good, but really expensive.
Lunch: Rueben (excellent, just expect a bit of a mess, kinda juicy), generous helping of great fries, really good soup-of-the-day red pepper bisque
Very disappointing. We have visited Red Chair since they opened. However the last two times including this one was not acceptable. We were seated at the reservation time but it took 15 minutes before I had to approach a server to attend to our table. We ordered our dinner and it took 45 minutes to be served. The server told us the kitchen was behind. We noticed two parties that had been waiting just left the restaurant. Once we received our meals we requested boxes to go because we were running so late. The restaurant looked to be at 75% full and it seemed like the staff was very disorganized.
Had a nice supper with 7 people. Everyone enjoyed their food & beverages! Great service!!
New kids menu is terrible. What happened to the Mac n cheese? It used to be the best. Server told us Burger Monday was gone even though menu still had it.
Great service and interesting breakfast specials. Overall, nice menu selections with a bottomless cup of coffee. Nice!
I was disappointed in food selection and prices. I will not return.
We ate here after Bobcat homecoming on Saturday, October 13. The service was great, the food fantastic and fast. I only wish we had gotten our servers name. She was the best!!
Made reservations for brunch. We were sat promptly. Service was slow. Our server was very friendly although I think she has numerous tables downstairs as well as upstairs. Food was excellent, however it took almost 55 minutes to receive. Beverage refills were slow as well.
Miso glazed salmon and burger cooked to order! Yum.
Always a good meal served in a decent amount of time. Very good server, made the evening more fun.
Ordered a cheese steak sandwich. It was tasty but small. Service was quite poor. Server seemed to actively ignore us. At over point I had to wave from across the room to get his attention.
We were seated with drinks immediately, but then waited a half hour before going to ask if someone would please come take our order. The southwestern cobb salad felt more like a pile of a few things rather than a composed salad. Overall were very underwhelmed. The only good thing was my cocktail, a mule made with bourbon, grapefruit bitters & basil.
Love the new menu. The bisque is yummy! Wish the fish tacos weren’t fried but they were delicious.
Food and service were good. However, they have changed the menu. Some of our favorite items are no longer on the menu. Tried some of the new items. Hopefully, they will bring back the wontons.
Great burgers and local beer! Server was very attentive! Great new place!
I love Red Chair's Supper Club. The Au Jus is to die for, and no one says no to the price.
Amazing views upstairs! Excellent service and tasty brunch. Nice neighborhood restaurant.
High quality meal and friendly staff
Good simple food. Quiet downstairs ... apparently upstairs had a view
Loved the red chair lifts and ski lodge theme. Food quality and service very nice.
