Great food and very friendly service!
Extraordinary food and service. A combination of Italian standbys and creative new dishes.
We were intrigued by the great reviews we saw and decided to try Red Carpet Restaurant. The service was excellent from the moment we arrived. They greeted us with a smile and warm welcome as if we had dined there before. The attention was top notch from the beginning to the end. The owner is there to great everyone and work side-by-side with his staff. That alone is to be commented and that is why the business is so great! He is professional, hospitable, and lively.
As for the food, everything we ordered was delicious! I can’t say enough, we were very impressed. While the restaurant is located in a small strip shopping mall, do not let that fool you, this is one of the “hidden gems” in our community.
It is very difficult to find restaurants in Miami that are as friendly, courteous and professional as this. The staff actually smiled and were very inviting.
Side note to other restaurants in the Miami area, you could surely take some lessons from the Red Carpet Restaurant.
Food and service were excellent. Came here for the first time last year and it’s become one of my favorite restaurants to go to. I live near Manhattan, we’re there known for their great Italian food. This place is just as good as New York’s il Mulino or Rao’s. If you’re in the area or just looking for some good Italian cuisine definitely give this place a try.
We were very happy with the food and the service.
The menu is excellent. It is a true find!
Encontré el restaurante en Open table y decidí probar, ya que los comentarios eran muy buenos y efectivamente la comida, la atención y el ambiente son muy buenos. Lo recomiendo. Está escondido; pero vale la pena
This is one of our favorites!! The fish special - Branzino in a Piccata Sauce was very good, so was the Ravioli stuffed with Osso Bucco in a Saffron Sauce (menu item).
Family owned & run, service is always very attentive
This was our second visit in four weeks. The menu is simple, straight forward, authentic. Service is friendly and is oriented to recognizing a repeat customer!
Food is delicious, well prepared and service is attentive, without being intrusive.
A rare find in Miami!
Our first time dining here. What a gem! Who would know this fine little restaurant was in this location. Service was exceptional. Wait staff attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. I would highly recommend.
I found the restaurant online when looking for a place to have dinner close to a theater (Teatro Trail) for which we had tickets. I liked the online menu and made the reservation through Open Table. It really exceeded my expectations. Both food and service were excellent.
We love eating at Red Carpet, it’s like having a meal at your families home. Jorge and Alfredo and the entire staff welcome you like you belong to their family everytime you come to their restaurant. The food is always delicious, try the corvina, chicken parmaggiana, and the ravioli are always good choices. You cannot go wrong with anything on their nenu.
This place is great! I loved the fact the music was low therefore u are able to talk to whoever you are with. The food is amazing, me and wife go out to eat a lot and this restaurant’s food is really high on our rankings. I had a sea-bass with risotto, it was phenomenal.
Just like a home cooked meal! Great taste and ingredients even though a bit limited for an Italian menu. Need more Italian entres.
Also, I don’t know why any restaurant would offer Fillet Mignon or Lobster as a special? There’s nothing special about that...just a more expensive choice . I’d rather they offered a daily Italian special. That would make the restaurant awesome!
It’s pretty good now....but could be great!
Fantastic food and excellent service one of the best italians I have been to in a long time
Exceptional excellence! Warmly greeted by owner Alfredo we settled in for a relaxing meal. Alfredo’s recommendation of a Prosecco, Corta all’s Flora was the perfect pairing for our meal. Salmon, Veal, Carpaccio all delicious and the included salad and Carrot soup were fresh and nicely presented. Mike and Alfredo were attentive in their service.
I’ve been supporting this family owned restaurant since they opened and given the “fickle” city Miami can be, it’s great to see a restaurant survive on good food and customer service in a non descriptive location off the beaten path. Enjoy!
Never disappoints! Have been there many times; food & service always great!! Family owned and run.
The food and service is the best, we took friends there for the first time and they were very happy and would return.
Small family restaurant with excellent service and outstanding food
Excellent on all accounts!!
Can’t wait to go back
We have eaten there 5 times already
Red Carpet was a lovely, delicious dinner, with fabulous food and wonderful service. With its quiet, lovely ambiance, and white cloth table, it was a great evening with special attention to every detail!
once again, not disappointed. the food and service was great.
Glad we found this "neighborhood gem." The food is creative and served with great care.
We had a very nice time! The restaurant is very pleasant with incredible service and the food is tasty , well presented and affordable.
I would lower the lighting a bit to make it cozier but that doesn’t take always from the good restaurant that it is.
This is a lovely family run restaurant that has wonderful food, service and prices. It is a place you want to go back to on a regular basis. I highly recommend this Red Carpet Italian restaurant.
We truly enjoyed everything about this restaurant. The service was impeccable and the food was delicious. We ordered the chicken Parmesan and it was very tasty with just the right amount of marinara sauce. The chicken al funghi was moist, flavorful and delicious. My husband got the Bistecca di Manzo and it was cooked to perfection. The meat was very tender and the Parmesan risotto was one of the best we’ve had. Would truly recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Been a few times now, and it’s still good. Food was good, though the French Onion Soup was pretty salty, too salty in fact, and while this kind of thing happens once in a while and is certainly forgivable, it led to a not-so-great service experience. We let our waiter know that the soup was really too salty to eat, and he was understanding, apologetic, and promptly took it away. He can back a moment later to tell us that the manager wanted to come over and talk to us and apologize - great, right? Not so much...the manager, was nice enough, but prefaced the conversation by saying “I understand that you found the FOS to be too salty. Just to let you know, you’re the first person to complain about this tonight, and I tasted it earlier and I didn’t find it too salty, but if you think it’s too salty then ok...” My wife and I were looking at each other during this statement, as though to say to one another “not the right way to start this conversation,” and the manager picked up on that and asked us what the issue was. It really went downhill from there. I explained to him that I really didn’t think that was the right way to initiate this kind of conversation, and he really didn’t get it. He just kept going on about he wanted us to be happy, that the customer has to be happy and that’s the most important thing, etc. In the end, he took the soup of the check and bought us dessert, so for sure the establishm
nice family owned restaurant where the food is fresh and always really good!
Great food and service. Have been there several times and have never been disappointed. The last time the chef made a special salad for us that was not on the menu that day. It was a nice surprise.
Have come multiple times and the quality and taste of food is always great.
Excellent food, great service, can hear each other
As always consistently very good. My friends loved it too. We all will be back
The food was outstanding . Second visit and each dish seems to get better tasting each time. I will definitely return!
This little gem on 8th Street is so worth the drive. The owners are lovely people and they greet you like you were family. The food never disappoints. Try the delicious salad with figs and the ravioli. Also chicken or fish are also sooo good. The desserts are also very delicious!! Put this restaurant on your to gos.
Never disappointing family run business. Good food & service. This time around ended up having the gnocchi as an appetizer & the eggplant ravioli as an entrée. Good choice!!! In fact the portions are enough to share as an appetizer.
Food and service were great, but the place looks like a highway dinner.
Lovely place. The food and service are amazing. Alfredo is an incredible host and his mom is very sweet too.
We were looking for a place to visit after the airport. Did a Yelp search and found this small place located in a strip mall. Family owned and operated. Great food, attentive service, and nice wines by the glass. We'll definitely return to try some more of their awesome menu items!
A hidden 5 star Italian “GEM”
Authentic & extremely friendly & helpful staff
Great local restaurant in neighborhood shopping center. Family run and very friendly and welcoming. Food was quite good and staff very willing to help. Dessert was fair but we really ordered more to sit and nibble and visit with our friends. They did not rush us regardless. Very pleasant and liked having cloth tablecloths and napkins.
