Red Carpet Italian Restaurant
We went for dinner with some friends. The ambiance and servers were very welcoming. Once we were served water, the garlic rolls were brought out and they were delicious! We ordered calamari and it was outstanding. After the appetizer, our entrees were served. All of the entrees looked and smelled wonderful. I had the black ink risotto with shrimp and lobster sauce, it was exquisite!
For dessert, I had a Nutella cake and it was delicious! The rest of the desserts were also great!
We’d definitely return! I do recommend that you make a reservation because it does get full!
As always, great.
Great food and desserts, an unassuming place, nicely decorated as you would decorate your house. Attentive service with minimal staff, was not crowded so I can not judge how it would work on a crowded day. Small but varied wine list. Superior Italian food in an out of the way location. A filet mignon special was excellent even when I believe somewhat overpriced, pasta was cooked well even when not al dente. Will certainly come back.
Love it, food is delicious
Amazing experience, everything from the service to the quality of the food was exemplary.
The service was very good. The food was delicious and the mom of the owner was delightful. She told us about her delicious desserts.
Excellent food and excellent service. Very reasonable prices
Riquísima la comida. Lo recomiendo ampliamente. Volveré.
Always excellent food and everything is made fresh including the homemade desserts. Will return soon for more!
My 3rd time there. This is my 3rd review all good
This restaurant is a hidden jewel. Marvelous food and outstanding service.
My 2nd time in 2 weeks. Same review this is a neighborhood gem
Everything was wonderful. We had excellent garlic bread and reorder; antipasto; and scrumptious pear and cheese ravioli, topped off by a delicious sorbet ball concoction the chef made a special seafood and pasta marinara dish for our friend, which she loved. We have been fans of this restaurant since it opened over 3 1/2 years ago, and are pleased it has achieved a nice following. The owners are charming and gracious young Venezuelan brothers with another relative heading up the kitchen.
Just loved this place it is a neighborhood Gem. Everyone was so nice
Great family run place; very welcoming and unassuming. Very good service, they will try to accommodate special requests (last time there one of the specials was risotto with shrimp, I cannot eat shellfish, they happily substituted with chicken).
Nice place, very good food. My fav dish is the grilled salmon, it is delicious.
From start to finish everything is excellent! We'll be back soon to try more of the great gastronomy this place offers. The best italian food in Miami, no doubt about it!.
We all enjoyed our food and dessert choices very much! Will definitely return many times. Squid ink risotto (special) was amazing!
The very best restaurant we went to in south florida. The food was exceptional, you must order dessert! Home made and delicious. Service was warm and friendly. If you go go to one restaurant in miami, this is the one.
Food and service excellent as usual. The Father’s Day menu was very diversified.
Never a disappoints. Have been going there since they opened.. Never a bad experience
Wonderful experience, from
Beginning to end. Well done.
Very good in all way
Pleasantly surprised with the food and the service. Everything was excellent and this is a hidden gem!
Great hidden gem. Fast service. Great food. Very attentive and friendly staff. Family owned establishment. A welcome break from the "chains". Quiet location. You can tell ther are lots of "regulars" there, which speaks to the quality of food and service offered there. Only issue was with certain regulars there, that seem to forget they arent at home. Lack of restaurant etiquette . But, thats has NOTHING to do with the restaurant. Just a warning to those to not be surprised by the lack of boundaries these regulars have. A dirty look amd theyre good though. Will definitely go back!!
Hidden gem (little Havana, coral gables area)
Good service - very attentive
Food - some good some average.
Wine - decent selection.
Def worth a try.
Family managed italian restaurant. Food quality and service were great. Definitely will go back.
Excellent service and the food is always outstanding. All at a reasonable price.
They make you feel at home! Highly recommended!
Lovely Italian ambiance in a little strip mall. If you didn't search online or on OpenTable, you would miss it and that would be a shame! Very courteous, friendly, yet non-intrusive family owned/operated restaurant with excellent service, delicious food, and homemade desserts by the Italian Mama! I had the lobster ravioli (I never clean my plate and I ate it ALL!) My husband had the chicken parmesan (unlike any other as they pound the chicken thin and the coating is thin and deliciously golden). The homemade garlic parmesan bread rolls are tender/crisp and melt-in-your mouth amazing! My mouth is watering while I write this. If you're in the area, or even if you're further away from the restaurant, it is definitely worth the trip!
What can I say, I love this place and the service is always perfect
Excellent Food was wonderful and so was the service. We will return
Returned for lunch. Still great food. Just one waitress-she must have been overwhelmed although there weren’t many tables with customers. She requires a lot more training. Manager doesn’t think so... so sad.
There is not one negative to record about this wonderful restaurant. What a gem. Wine to desserts. All was amazing. It's a place we will return to again and again. The food was so amazing, I even tipped the kitchen staff. Our server was a kind young man who turns out, is coowner with h iui s brother. His mother makes all their fabulous desserts. It's a must for us every trip to Miami now.
Had to try the Red Carpet based on posted reviews and this restaurant did nothing to disappoint. This is a solid trattoria.
We love this place. It doesn't look like much, tucked inside a strip-mall on Southwest Eighth Street, but it truly is a special restaurant. The service is top-notch without being obsequious and the food is memorable in all the right ways. Dishes are thoughtfully prepared to order and delivered to the table piping hot. It is rare when a restaurant gets everything right. Red Carpet is one of those rare gems.
This is a hidden gem. Located in a bad looking strip mall near home depot calle ocho, and with a name like Red Carpet, you would never think this is a great Italian restaurant. The food is amazing! Ask for the fig salad (not on the menu) it is really good. We like to order it as an appetizer to share. The crab raviolis are perfection. Actually all their raviolis are !!!! If you are not into pasta they have chicken dishes and meat like veal scallopini with mash potato that are also good. The pannacotta for dessert is a must. The service is excellent. This restaurant is family owned and you can see how dedicated they are to offer great food. Prices are great specially when you compare them to all the bad and mediocre restaurants we have in miami now charging as if their food is rated 3 Michelin stars !
First time. We enjoyed it very much. We will return many times more
A very pleasant surprise, our first time to Red Carpet and it will not be the last!
Amazing food, definitely unexpected for the random strip mall location.
Fresh fish specials, great pasta dishes, and thin pounded chicken and veal. Flavors were perfect on each dish For our party of 7! Great garlic rolls too.
Will be back soon!!
