Our favorite restaurant in Austin. Octopus is always excellent!
Excellent food, large servings. My wife and I split a 20oz bone in filet and it was perfect. For four people, plan for two hours at least if you are getting drinks and apps with dinner. Need reservation several days in advance.
Everything from the food to the service, Red Ash was exceptional!
Excellent food and service. Was our first visit and left very impressed and satisfied. Wait staff was extremely knowledgable and offered great recommendations. I now understand why reservations are hard to get.
The food was divine as always and the service is amazing!
Great experience. Worth the wait to get a reservation a month out. Hope to return soon.
Red Ash is always amazing! I almost hate to say how great the garlic bread is … If you eat nothing else, get garlic bread which arrives in a bubbling toasty tower. Delicious! All the pastas are to die for and the Meatball appetizer (could be a meal) is killer! I hate to recommend because it’s already hard to get a table! Persevere, book early ans enjoy!
Service was great. The receptionist and waiter were the nicest people. The room was bustling, with tables full of corporate people enjoying their expense accounts. The menu prices, at least by Manhattan standards, were reasonable, especially given the gargantuan sizes of the servings. You can see this is not going to be a Catskill review whining “the food was terrible, and the portions so small.” The portions were huge, but the quality was not much above Olive Garden’s. The pasta was over cooked, way too mushy, and the large portion of not too tasty crab did not redeem it. The osso buco was gigantic, but not flavorful. A few bites were more than enough. I had read about Red Ash, and was glad that it is clearly a commercial success, but sad that it is not a culinary champion.
Fantastic food and fabulous service! Went here for a birthday dinner and couldn't have had a better night.
The food was delicious, as always. The waitress was very good. The restaurant was lively with a good vibe!
Hands down the best Italian in the city. Service is always perfect and the food is nothing but the best.
We always love going to Red Ash - it's one of our favorites in Austin. Food & Service are always well done.
Took my mom and her boyfriend here for their first time. I’ve been a couple times and have had Brandi every time! The happiest of coincidences! She is the best, knows the menu like they back of her hand. Food is amazing, service is amazing. Favorite place in Austin
Red Ash was recommended as a wonderful experience for a special event. So I took my lovely wife for our anniversary celebration dinner. We've been doing that for 43 years, and this may have been the best one yet. Our server was Caleb and he made it very special. The food was unbelievably good, and the entire evening was wonderful. We can't wait to go back, and we're definitely not waiting for another anniversary. Highly rcommended!
The best Italian in Austin - bar none! The agnolotti is incredible along with the country bread.
Our waiter was so sweet and amazing! She spent time going over the menu.
Fabulous as usual! Brandy was our server and she was delightful!
Our server, Emma, was great! phenomenal experience!
Red Ash Is one of fav restaurants to meet up w friends or special occasions. Our server Emma was prompt and offered suggestions on drinks and dinner choices. She was very knowledgeable on the specials that her description had several of us changing our mind and it did NOT disappoint. Dessert and the lemoncello were a perfect way to end our meal! The service is impeccable and the food is always fantastic!
Awesome as always, great drinks, great food friendly people
Always an incredible experience at Red Ash! We brought some friends here who were visiting from out of town and did family style. Delicious!! Don’t miss out on the tiramisu!
Everything was absolutely delicious, very large portions that can easily be shared, the tomato with burrata starter was amazing, the filet was to die for
Our waitress was amazing, very attentive and great knowledge of food.
We had a wonderful dinner. Everything was great! Would definitely go back. The pasta was the best. The clam appetizer was so good. Everything was good. We sat on the second level and had a great view of the kitchen. It was amazing to watch the chefs. Our waiter was quite busy, we didn't get to see her much. She was nice and informative.
The food and the atmosphere was absolutely spectacular. We went on a Wednesday night and it was packed. Clearly the place to be!
Emma was wonderful. 12/10 would recommend
Great atmosphere, great food... one of Austin's favorites with no doubt!!!
Staff went out of their way to ensure we were seated in a space we preferred. Server was prompt and checked on us the appropriate amount of times. Our drinks and food came out in a timely manner. The dishes we tried were all amazing. We have dined at numerous restaurants of similar caliber and will definitely be back.
Server was great. Bone Marrow w bread and toppings was exceptional, everything else was just good. For a 4.9 stars on Google with reservations booked out for months, I was expecting to have a mind blowing experience. What we got was solid good-great food, but wasn’t blown away by anything but the bone marrow. Not quite worth the hype it seems. Not quite sure what makes it so special honestly. Enjoyed it though.
Our meal was fabulous! Loren was an amazing server! Don't skip ordering the amazing bread and incredible butternut squash!
Some food were amazing. Server could’ve been more attentive. Had to wait 5-10min until I had to ask for a server to get started with water and drinks. Otherwise great food.
Everything we have ever ordered from Red Ash has been insanely good. The Osso Buco is amazing! We had such a great time and they treated us really well.
great food, great service, and not expensive!!! They really made my friends bday special so thanks
Absolutely incredible in every way. The experience lived up to its hype. We went with another couple and shared plates in order to try the most items (1 app, 2 salads, 3 pastas and 2 mains). Wonderful. Their wine list and cellar list is great as well. Highly recommend!
Amazing meal. Red ash always has the best service and the food is unbeatable! Frutti di Mare is the best dish on the menu - garlic bread is a must as well.
Friendly service and phenomenal food. We had a great experience.
My favorite place in Austin! You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. And try a Jackie Go Night Night cocktail! I was just at Red Ash last night and I'm already missing it again.
Family in town for first visit in 16 months!
As always, food is incredible and service is top notch. Tables were a little too close together and would recommend a little more distance. Not but 2 feet from next person, which wasn't very ideal. We were on top level, which was incredibly cold. Otherwise, everything else was remarkable!
This is the perfect spot for any celebration or just a nice dinner!!
