Our server was great, Jarrod, I think. The restaurant smelled incredible, but we ate dessert only. Honestly, I have had better, but they make the Gelato and it was tasty. I may go back, but it is expensive and we were heckled by 2 homeless men outside the building.
I come here a lot for a slew of reasons - business dinners, date nights, birthdays, happy hour, dinner with friends, and am never disappointed. The food is always delicious and service is next level.
We have been to Red Ash 25 times and have never been disappointed until Monday. My wife ordered rivioli and it was not very good??
I found a rock in my broccolini. I told the waiter and he made a joke and didn’t try and remedy the situation.
Food was exceptional. I would not order the gnocchi unless you like a lot of cheese though
Some of the best food in town. This is our favorite place hands down. Steak, pasta and seafood are all 5 stars. And the service is second to nice.
We come here ( sometimes twice ) during our stay here ! Always great ! Have not had one thing on menu we didn’t like !
Order a bunch of stuff and share !!!! So you can enjoy everything !
Red Ash is next level. The service is excellent and the food is the best in Austin. The country bread is always a must, and the steak is better than any steakhouse. The salad tasted like the veggies were just picked from a garden. Can’t wait to go back.
Awesome place!!
This was our second experience dining in at Red Ash and as always everything was excellent from the atmosphere to the food to the service. Looking forward to going back again in the future!
Everything was great - the food was amazing as usual. The only slight hiccup was the seating. We had reserved a standard table and when we arrived the hostess let us know we could have the chefs table (at the kitchen), we requested to wait for a standard table. A few minutes later she told us she had a special table for us - and it was the same chefs table. We asked again to wait for a standard table and ultimately got one. It was just a bit peculiar to have to say twice that we didn’t want to sit at the chefs table. Otherwise all was amazing! Service and food was amazing!
Fabulous food! Chef John and crew are amazing! Waite staff is the best!
Valentine’s
The food here is phenomenal. The parmesan potatoes are one of the best things I have ever had. The Gnocchi is incredible. We have been here twice and each time the food is some of the best we have had. It is definitely going to cost you maybe $80 a person minimum if you want the full experience but in my opinion it is definitely worth it.
Great food and a great price!
The food was amazing and the service was stellar. I highly recommend you treat yourself to this experience. Don’t skip the apple dessert!
It was my first time at Red Ash, and it was memorable! the food was amazing, the servie was outstanding, everything was gorgeous. We will be going back many, many more times for sure!
Perfect ambiance for a romantic date night! Would highly recommend the tomato and burrata starter, the fruti de mare entree and the hot chocolate cake for dessert. Service and food quality were exceptional!
The garlic bread alone is reason enough to come here. Best bread ever. The small clams in butter and burrata we also amazing. Ordered two pasta dishes and wanted to try the whole menu. Will be coming back!
Red ash customer service from entry to dessert was great. Food was amazing since the first day they opened. There’s a constant consistency here of meeting everyone’s highest expectations in dining.
Excellent meal, caprese, seafood and steak were impeccably done. Chianti delish and service flawless . Several follow ups to confirm reservation was a little annoying. If I made a reservation I am coming and I surely don’t have time to call you back
Favorite restaurant in the city
Loved the ambiance with the upstairs overlooking the open kitchen and wood fired oven. Bone in prime filet was seasoned perfectly. Only complaint would be the cut of meat that it was as it was not perfectly free of fatty parts. Roasted butternut squash was delicious but could’ve been cooked more to be a bit softer. Salads were both excellent. However, I wish the Calabrian salad had more romaine in it than arugula. The service was great and the server recommended an excellent wine pairing for my steak. Mom loved the meatballs, although they were merely warm the first time they came out which they immediately corrected and brought an entirely new super hot one. Overall an impressive experience and is my favorite restaurant in Austin thus far!
Such a phenomenal restaurant! The staff made us feel so special and the food is amazing. Highly recommend
Incredible
I cannot say enough good things about this place! We had such a wonderful anniversary experience here. The service, the food, and the ambiance were all out of this world! We can’t wait to go back. I would definitely try the Octopus a la Plancha, Calabrian Salad, Gnocchi, Frutti Di Mare, and Olive Oil Cake. Oh and the BEST bread ever!
Literally amazing. EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING. 100% recommend
Friendly staff , great waiter , wonderful food , extensive wine list .
We had a great date night for an early Valentine’s Day !
Wonderful Food and wine selection
We had another stunning experience here, including a pleasant conversation with the owner who came by. Red Ash, in my opinion, is the best restaurant in Austin and well deserving of a trip. We can’t wait for our next experience!
Terrific Italian food. Great menu and drinks, albeit pricey.
Was an amazing meal as usual, until ex fed
Love this place. You won’t be disappointed. Love everything about it. Zack our waiter was top notch. We dine here every few months. ❤️
We had not been to Red Ash since before the quarantine, and were a little disappointed in the food (as we remembered it).
Amazing!!!
Our first time at Red Ash and we loved it. The bread was very good. I had the Red Snapper and loved it. My wife had pasta and loved it as well. Not cheap but worth the money. Bigger problem is deciding what to order as so many good choices are available
For a Tuesday night the place was energetic and one would’ve thought it was a weekend night. The best restaurant in town.
Food and drinks were absolutely amazing! There was an aperol spritz take called the Dutchess (I believe) and it was lovely. Emma our server was attentive and make great recommendations when we couldn't decide....we wanted to order everything on the menu. If its still on menu, do yourself a favor and get the Blue Crab pasta as well as the Gnocchi. Christian made my husband a wonderful desert whiskey drink for his birthday. Overall a wonderful experience and can't wait to go back to try the rest of the menu.
Amazing food and service from beginning to end. Really enjoyed it a great deal.
I love red ash so much. It is the best meal I’ve ever had, best meal in austin, all together 100/10. Service was great even though it was crowded. Garlic bread, potatoes, pasta with Rosa sauce, and meatballs all so so so amazing. The pasta isn’t on the menu but they can always make It.
