Amazing experience at Recette, service was over and beyond which was most appreciative and the food quality is top notch. Menu is modern French and they were able to accommodate a lot of food intolerances without skipping a beat. As a big foodie who's eaten in basically all restaurants in Toronto, its been awhile since I've been this impressed. Highly recommend.

From start to finish, a superb dining experience. Our server was so knowledgeable and so engaging, that it just added to the experience of the outstanding cuisine. Each dish was incredible and I can’t wait to come back next week. I would have loved to give a sparkling review on Google, but you don’t appear to have a presence there yet. Worth pursuing. I would like to see you around for a long time.

The food was fantastic. Shared everything.. Oysters, maitake shrooms, duck breast and the pork. beautiful presentation and perfectly prepared. Service was slow, as it is in most restos these days but our server acknowledged the problem and explained the problem of being short staffed. She was fantastic!! 100% return visit in the future!

Went for Buck a shuck wednesday! The oysters were so fresh and delicious. Will definitely come back.

The small dishes were great (scallops and mushroom) We practically licked the plate The pork was a well balanced dish except the meat was a bit dry Our servers were friendly and super accommodating Buck a shuck made it even more worth it Back room/kitchen view not the best

Outstanding meal and excellent service on a Friday night. Place was just the right amount of busy. We had most of the small plates and two out of three of the big plates and both deserts at our table- every single one a winner. The maitake mushroom was particularly delicious, and scallops were also done to perfection. Intimate atmosphere and an elegant bar at the front with interesting cocktails and unique wines.

Oyster were so good. Service and cocktails top notch. Steak was truly inspired. Can’t say enough good things about this place. Definitely a must try.
