Late Friday night looking for a light appetizer few drinks. Every where booked except this gem! Great Service, great food and a great bar menu. Sat outside. Would definitely go back and highly recommend

I really enjoyed my dinner at Rebel's Guild. It's a fun environment. The food was good. It's a little pricey for what you get but it was fine.

I had a reservation for Sunday brunch at 11am. We showed up 5 minutes early and were sat immediately. The hostess sat us down but didn't bring us menus; we had to ask for them. The manage brought over menus but then no one else came over for a full 15 minutes. No one came over to bring water or get a drink order and the restaurant had only 3 or 4 other customers. After waiting for 15 minutes, we were so frustrated we walked out and no one was even at the host stand for us to say something. Disappointing to say the least, we were hopeful to find a good neighborhood spot for brunch.

Our server and all of the staff were very accommodating. One member of our party ordered buffalo oysters and couldn't tolerate the heat, so the chef made them again for her without the sauce. Everything else we ordered was delicious!

Nice menus for brunch but service was not good. Though friendly, the server was new and didn't seem like she was fully trained. There were 3 of us and two dishes came out, delivered by the manager, who said the third one was coming right out, but it took almost 10 minutes so we had to chose to start without all of us having our food or two of us eating cold eggs. They could not figure out how to use the Open Table certificate I presented and it took them about 20 minutes to determine no one knew how to do it so they comped the entire meal. I appreciated that but I felt bad - not looking for a free meal and even offered to just pay what I knew was owed but they said the system woulnd't accespt it. Nice room and decent food plus friendly staff, but still it was not a meal I would repeat.

We were basically ignored and even when we asked for service it took a long time to receive it. Starting with menus, continuing to ordering and receiving food and beverages the service was non-existent and when requested, begrudgingly, slowly given. The food was mediocre. I would never return nor would I recommend that anyone else attempt to eat breakfast at this restaurant. Perhaps they were nicer to hotel guests, I hope so.

I really wanted to like this place because it had good reviews and the lobby bar ambiance was great, but the service was so poor (non-existent) we left before even placing a food order. That was after sitting around for 40 minutes...it took 30 minutes before they brought our drink order, at which point they still hadn't taken a food order. And when we got there and inquired where to check in, no one was available so we joined a line of disgruntled-looking people that had seemingly been waiting for some time. Not sure if the manager called in sick that night, but they need some work on the operations front.

Food took 30+ minutes. While the servers were nice and amiable, we rarely saw them and took a while to get more coffee / water. My food was cold by the time it came out, they gave me a 2nd order (they realized mine was for someone else, or something), but the 2nd order was ALSO cold.

Everyone else's food was fine though. Maybe I just got unlucky.

Rebel's Guild was a small hotel bar that had great ambiance and a surprisingly good menu + cocktail menu. We went rather early for dinner on a Friday so it may get louder later at night but was very quiet and uncrowded when we went. The brick chicken and mushroom risotto was well above expectations and we'll be going back more often.

Made reservations to celebrate a birthday. The hostess never looked at the reservation so she was not aware it was a special occasion. It was not busy yet the service was painfully slow. We had to ask for menus & water, the wait to place an order & get our drinks was excessive. The food was good, but not enough to make up for the poor service. Ending up going elsewhere for dessert. I am willing to give it another chance just for the ambiance.

It got very busy and there was not enough wait staff for the number of tables. Our waiter was wonderful and checked in with us every chance he could.

Awesome! Service was fast and accurate. Food was amazing! Scallops were my favorite. Steaks are all good. Best meal, service and atmosphere we have had in a long time, thanks Jorge for amazing service may have to go back soon. See you there!

We really enjoyed the food, which was very nicely prepared. The menu is eclectic and features something for every taste, from meat loaf, spaghetti bolognese to steak frites and salmon. The tasting menu was equally tempting and diverse. The ambiance is relaxed and comfortable. The ambient music was interesting — some 80’s punk/new wave; however, it did tend to intrude on conversation. The biggest downfall of the experience was the service. Although our wait staff was very polite, the service was terrifically slow. We waited for just about an hour for our food.

The service was really really terrible. We went with a group, which I get makes things more complex for the waitress, but it was just awful. It was well over an hour for our food to come out. After dinner the waitress, without any mention of check splitting, dumped a check for 10 of our group of 12 on the table and said she could not split it further. After we were done splitting it for her and she ran through the cards, she managed to ring us all up for more than the total bill by $15. Which we all were so sick of, we just left it.

They had a band at 6:30 playing loudly right in the middle of everything. And the band was bad. We just walked out when they could give us a table where we could even hear each other.

Visiting the area for a weekend; Staying at the Hotel and didn’t want to search for a restaurant after a long drive. Food was good, service was fine. Sever made me a decent espresso martini.

I'm a meat lover and I'm also very critical about it! If I like medium, that's the way I like. No more or less! Is just like when you order something and you create some expectation and they go over it.

And it doesn't stop there! I'm not a chicken fan bit my friend ordered a chicken and I was never so interested in a piece of chicken before like there.

Our waiter Jorge gave us a real teaching about which wine would be better served with our food, besides his amazing courteous customer service.

Our waiter Jorge was fantastic. He was incredibly friendly and helpful and never left us wanting for anything. The food was also top notch. Everything we had was delicious and fresh and it was a spectacular experience overall. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Rebel's Guild takes place in the location that used to be Emerald's Lounge for the Boston legends. The renovations are strong. We greatly enjoyed the quality of the food and cocktails. There appears to have been a strong effort on that front. While located in the Revere Hotel it still feels like it stands on it's on. We recommend it.

Nice ambiance, good food and great drinks. Service was friendly and quick. It was fairly quiet for a Saturday night which was nice as we had a big party and could actually hear each other during dinner.

Service was slow. Ordered rare burger which came out medium well. Ordered small plate which they forgot to bring. Scallops were tasty, but the risotto it sat on was cold. Drinks were weak.
This restaurant has potential, but it needs a manager who is involved with the waitstaff.

Amazing wait staff! I wish more restaurants were like this!! The food is always the best. Wine and beverages are excellent.

Absolutely phenomenal! From the moment entering the establishment and being greeted like a VIP. (They greet all people the same just so you know) There isn’t a single downfall through the entire meal. Service, ( Jorge our waiter was amazing) food, ambiance, cleanliness. They deserve five stars!! Can’t wait to go back again!

It’s not the server’s fault, but the guy clearly had a raging case of conjunctivitis in BOTH eyes, his entire white of his eyes were bright red. There’s no way he should’ve been serving people food.
