Everything was great. Ryan was awesome as usual. The whole staff helped us out and made sure our experience was divine. Prime Steaks, Fresh Seafood, Fine Wine, and Superb Service!
Service was a little slow but it was a nice experience overall.. I'll give it a 3.5 star experience.
This was my first time at Ray’s and I am a fan. Six of my friends and I gather annually to formally celebrate friendship and Ray’s was the perfect backdrop. We were seated on the waterfront and we talked, ate and laughed until we couldn’t. We will be back!!!!
Brunch was very well done. Great variety, nice presentation, fresh and just the right temp. Was also easy to navigate around the table offerings. Would go again and tell others!
Love this place. Food is spectacular and the service makes you feel special. They really know how to do it.
We always enjoy Ray’s and this was another enjoyable dining experience. The meal was superb and the music was good but not too loud such that you could carry on a conversation. Mike wasour server and he took very good care of us.
Wonderful dinner as alwaus
Very nice as always. Service was outstanding. The filet was just right.
We were very pleased with our experience at Ray's on the River! We were seated with a lovely view of the river, the service was excellent, and our food was delicious. We'll definitely go back for another special occasion!
Had Casi as a waitress and she was great. Entertaining customers there again tomorrow evening and will request Casi.
Great food and atmosphere always.
Went for Sunday brunch. Ambience is fantastic and the location is absolutely wonderful with the dining area overlooking the Chattahoochee River. However, that was as far as the positive review goes. While the buffet food choices were plentiful, hot items were lukewarm or cold and aside from the prime rib, everything else was pretty light on flavor/taste. The server didn't pay attention to my party until it came time to pay the check (and then he HOVERED until the credit card receipt was signed). I understand that it's a popular place and that they need to turn the tables quickly, but getting the check mid-meal and then feeling forced to eat quickly and get out of there ASAP was not pleasant. Definitely not worth the $40/person paid.
It was amazing!!! I had a party of 5 and we went to Sunday Brunch. The menu was exceptional! The staff was incredibly helpful and fun. I would recommend Ray’s to any and everyone!
Always love Rays. Great view of river, great food, and wonderful service ( especially with Christina last night). You can’t go wrong!
My husband and I resevered dinner so we could catch up with one another and set aside the business of adulthood and regular life. The service was spectacular as well as the food. Most people want to know about prices but it's an elegant place and you get what you pay for, it's money well spent. My husband loves the seafood options and I typically get a steak. Overall I enjoyed my night and would definitely return, AND recommend a visit.
Delicious as usual!! Tried the fried lobster tail and the appetizer portion was perfect! My husband got the lamb chops and cooked perfect! As a side the corn is delish!!
The view was lovely. Our server was helpful and attentive. The food was delicious. The perfect afternoon celebrating our anniversary. We plan on making it a regular trip.
Requested a river side table and we were accommodated . Service was excellent. Party dined on Filet and Scallops. Both were excellent. Enjoyed the Jazz Ensemble music which could be heard throughout the restaurant . Rays is always a safe bet to entertain guest from out of town.
Great service good food
Rays on the River is my favorite business lunch restaurant. Usually go here once a week. Great staff, fabulous food and value not to
mention the view!
Ray's On The River is a regular event for us. As always they did an excellent job. The ambiance is right for special occasions, a date or a business meeting. Our food was excellent, we were seated at a table overlooking the river and Ra's helped to make our evening more than enjoyable. Candy was our server and she went above and beyond to see that our every request was satisfied. She has a great personality and knows how to be professional while making you feel that you are her only guest. We will definitely ask for her on our next visit.
Ray's on the River is an outstanding restaurant that does not disappoint.
Food was tasty and original and service was friendly with a smile.
Always an enjoyable lunch with great food and service. Lobster salad is a must.
Mr. Toufic never ceases to impress. Best server in Atlanta.
Great venue and a wonderful menu, but our seared ahi tuna and our Porterhouse for two were vastly overcooked. The restaurant did make amends, but we expected better preparation of food from this level of restaurant. I would give them another chance, because the food was still very tasty, even over-done.
Wonderful place for a quiet romantic dinner with great food and wine choices and nice views especially at sunset. Would definitely go back.
I took my husband here for his birthday. The entrance was crowded and I’m glad we reserved a table since it was booked solid. We we seated timely and the staff was friendly. There was great selection but again it was a bit crowded. Maybe next time we’ll skip the brunch. Too big of a draw for my tastes.
All good but I missed the Red Velvet and Carrot Cake cupcakes. They also ran out of oatmeal cookies.
I love brunch and pride myself on how many different restaurants I have had bunch. But Rays on the River became my instant favorite! Make sure you have reservations because there is a crowd on Sundays. The amount of options, the quality of the food, service and ambiance are second to none.
Took my mom for her birthday and we both enjoyed ourselves! Everything from the hostess to the server to the food was excellent
We had a very nice waiter but even though he started taking the orders really early, it took them very long to bring the bread basket. he mentioned its in the oven ! Laterally they brought it 2-3 min before our foods arrived !
We did not have silverwares until our actual food came and finally had to ask for it because they didn't even notice that we are waiting for something and not eating !!!
You don't expect this type of service in an upscale restaurant.
My wife and I visited Ray's On The River last Saturday. We were disappointed that the menu posted online at the Ray's On The River is not the menu at the restaurant. No Prime Rib just for example. Other items as well. We will not return.
Crab cakes has to be sent back because they weren’t hot! On a better note the key lime pie was delicious!
I was excited about this date having heard a lot about Ray's. It was disappointing.
BBQ Shrimp: If you're a fellow Cajun, don't bother. Shrimp were cooked well and presented nicely but that's it. Served on a plate with a grit fritter instead of French bread and drizzled rather than soaked in a bland sauce. Nothing like New Orleans. And for $17 you should either get 4 *jumbo* shrimp or more of the medium sized ones they serve.
Steakhouse Salad: Wedge of iceberg coated with a bleu cheese dressing, chopped scallions, fresh bacon crumbles, and cherry tomatoes. Nothing special.
Salmon Oscar: Small portion cooked perfectly; but very little seasoning. The sauce (they used béarnaise) was bland, overcooked, and too thick; only two twigs of asparagus and a tiny forkful of crab meat. The potatoes were an afterthought. At $34 I would expect much better.
Cowboy Ribeye: Well-marbled with all of the tenderloin edges intact; cooked perfectly. It was seasoned a bit. I only had to add salt once. The au poive sauce was bland and there was very little of it. $52 for a ribeye is definitely pushing the envelope unless it's something *really* special. This wasn't.
Lobster Mac-and-Cheese: Medium bowl with a bed of overdone noodles, well-flavored but overcooked and grainy sauce with a few bits of lobster and a larger clump of lobster meat on top; I would guess 1/3 of a tail of meat total. Spent a bit of time under a heat source for sure. There was a thick film on the sauce and the lobster meat on top was dried out and tough. They did throw on some white cheese shavings before serving. At $25 there should be a whole tail of meat, and it should be cooked perfectly.
Butter cake: The cake was quite tasty and the sauces (raspberry and lemon curd) worked well with it. However, the cake itself had been microwaved too long and the center was so hot it had begun to burn a bit and was actually crunchy.
Service: Top notch. Highlight of the night. Server was over-sat but kept up very well.
Our waiter was outstanding. I was dining with a friend that I had not seen in a year, and he never rushed us during our meal.
Great place to eat. My wife has told everyone about this place and the food was excellent
The salmon salad was delicious and plated well. My son ask for medium cooked steak but was medium well as it was held too long. However over all the meal was excellent and we had great service. We will definitely come back to Ray's!
1st time dining here and it was great. Every dish from the appetizer to dessert was well-prepared. Obviously, this is one of the more upscale dining experiences in the Atlanta area and the price reflected that but it was worth it. Will definitely be back.
Candy was really great as our server, super helpful and friendly. Will ask for her section next time we're at Ray's. As for steaks and seafood , they were all were good as expected and recommended. That said, with more people focusing on healthy meal options, they need more choices for vegetarians. Offering sides and a pasta dish is not enough, so hope that Ray's can improve there. Overall, really enjoy the classic steak and seafood vibe of Ray's.
Outstanding in all aspects. Can’t wait to visit again.
