This was dinner with business friends from CA. Our server was Candy and she was out of this world. It was a very memorable experience (as always).
Great food, always good options, creative menu and changes occasionally, great fist options and fantastic crab cakes and presentation of the appetizer shrimp cocktails is always fun and pleasing! Great staff.
Ray's on the River is a spot where my out of town guests were thrilled to go and I was happy to take them. The three of us consumed no alcoholic beverages yet the bill was $133.99 before tip. Your brunch is not worth this outrageous fee for a "normal" Sunday brunch. I will return for very special occasions -- perhaps once a year; however, I will not be a regular customer. It should be noted that only the large number of morbidly obese people I have seen at Ray's are getting their money's worth.
Three adults and two children, and we had a great time! The brunch buffet was varied, and everything we tasted was very good. Some comfort food - chicken pot pie, chicken strips, shrimp and grits, sausage gravy - very easy for the children to have plenty to eat. As for the adults, we especially enjoyed the prime rib and chilled shrimp, made-to-order omelets, and "smashed" potatoes. And don't forget the bacon! The seven year old thought it was heaven - "everything I like, all in one place!" Warning - it is VERY expensive, yet for the "experience" - fun, relaxed, great service, beautiful view, good quality food, well-prepared - not a bad value. We can only do this once a year, but we will be back. Note: Don't depend on dessert to fill you up. They're thinking you're going to eat yourself silly at the buffet. Go ahead and do it. Desserts are tiny, quite good (especially the crème brulee) and just enough to end the meal sweetly.
The Sunday Brunch is a must for anyone's "must-do" list. The river view is beautiful and the food is great
The atmosphere is great. A great place to enjoy some food and the outside view.
Always excellent and outstanding food
Service was terrible.
Liz and Miles were awesome!!! Food was absolutely amazing.
Our server Lynne was phenomenal. She was beyond friendly and offered such great recommendations. She had a great sense of humor and kept us smiling. The atmosphere was relaxed and upscale. The food was cooked perfectly by chef Scott and very flavorful. A great spot to celebrate a anniversary or special occasion.
I’ve dined at Rays several times now and was really disappointed to find that they removed Prime Rib from the menu. Their Prime Rib was always fantastic. I guess they want to be just another steak house
It was my first time and we had an amazing time. The crab cake was so good and you have to try the calamari they have some kind of aioli that's life changing. Service was excellent Q and Derrick did an excellent job making our stay special. The decor is breathtaking and that river view is stunning.
Truly a nice fine dining experience. MY bone in filet was perfect. I really like this place.
I have been twice in the past month and all was excellent! I highly recommend the grouper and the scallops. The cheesecake and creme brulee were some of the best I've had anywhere. It is a bit pricey, but really worth it in my opinion.
A wonderful experience. I would suggest to anyone!
The view from the table was simply spectacular
We went to lunch for our anniversary.
Our waiter Toufic he was terrific! Food was great and he was awesome and told us we could have whatever we wanted to order and got us a wonderful dessert on the house which was awesome! We love it!!
have been going to Ray's on the River, my preferred location because of it's scenic river views, since I became an Atlantan in 1998 . Service has always been impeccable and the food delicious, what more can you ask for!!!!!
The food and the service was amazing. A little pricey but overall it was a great experience.
Family and friends visiting from out of town. Waiter was friendly.
The Sunday brunch was delicious and the service was outstanding!!!
The food was amazing! Had a great birthday there with friends!
My parents have never been to Rays before. It was an aberration from our usual restaurants. We were celebrating my father's birthday but didn't want to make a tzimmes. Julian and John were seriocomic in their delivery and ensured we would have an exemplary experience. Management as well as the staff were affable and congenial. The food was delicious as usual. We wanted to observe the paseo but decided otherwise.
This was an anniversary date. The ambiance was really good. Our view was great. The service was very good and they were attentive. The food was good. They had happy anniversary on our table which was a very cool touch and was appreciated! A glass of champagne was provided for the occasion as well. I'd definitely recommend Ray's
This was a poor eating experience. The lobster tail was extremely salty the rice was inedible. The goat cheese appetizer was terrific however. I would recommend there be less emphasis on salty sauces and allow the food to speak for itself.
Another great experience. Very well done Rays. A double Birthday that was fantastic
We were seated immediately when we arrived at a nice table with a beautiful view of the river. Our server was friendly and attentive and new a lot about the menu. She made good recommendations. The food was delicious. I had lobster tail and a filet mignon. They were both cooked perfectly. This was my first visit to Ray's on the River and I'll definitely be back
Beautiful view, fantastic service and the food was incredible. Everything exceeded our expectations.
Service was excellent
Good food, over priced.
Great food; especially Chilean Sea Bass. The ambiance and view of the waterfront was amazing. The service was impeccable.
Went for Easter brunch
I went for Easter dinner But was not aware they were still serving brunch buffet after 6:30pm.
I have several food allergies and was not comfortable eating buffet style. But had already been forced into a $50 deposit to make the reservation. I would never go for a buffet again. The food selection was minimal and not fresh
To say we were disappointed, would be an understatement... For almost $50 a meal, we expected a lot more for our money... The buffet setup was not the best, especially when the food choices were either way too overdone or not even there... Buffets, especially holiday ones, should be much better filled... This was $200 I wish we had spent elsewhere.. Live and learn...
Now, this was my first experience. Don't know if it was a mistake to go on Easter, but I had to get our own silverware and the wait for syrup was ridiculous. A few other things that all just added up. I was very excited and wanted to love this place, but sadly, I did not.
Enjoyed a wonderful Easter Brunch at Ray’s on the River. Food quality and selections were outstanding. There was no difference in the food quality at the brunch - it was just as good as when I have been there for dinner.
Also enjoyed the live music - Baatin was an outstanding performer.
Definitely plan to return and bring some friends from out of town.
Tara was amazing. What a great waitress. I will come back just to see her.
Great food, wonderful staff, with our reservations we were seated right away. I highly recommend!
Our entire experience was outstanding. From the moment the valet greeted us up until the evening came to a close, we were served by a delightful staff who took the very best care of us. Looking forward to many wonderful returns!
