    Such a pretty restaurant but for the price the food was definitely lacking. Everything came out barely warm, not much flavor, zero plate presentation which I wouldn’t mind if it tasted better. For the price point i expected more.

    The food was delicious. However the portion sizes were small especially the grits on the featured dishes. The atmosphere was cozy with the mini lamps. The service was good.

    Overall great experience. Food was good and the restaurant itself was beautiful. ONLY 1 issue is there is no ramp to get to the back of the restaurant to view the river

    The food was wonderful but was too expensive. I am happy to pay for good food but the prices are way too high, especially when you purchase an al-a-carte item, such as fish. Typical prices are $40+ for the fish alone then you must spend $14 for one side item or $28 for two side items, such as a potato dish and a vegetable. Sides can be shared but nevertheless, it's too expensive for the overall value of the meal. Our meal for 3 people cost over $200. The setting is lovely but overall, it's just too much for what you get.

    We came today for Father’s Day. We had a 1:15 pm reservation and were seated by 1:30. I had the blackened redfish on jalapeño cheddar grits….good grief….it was amazing. My husband had the halibut and my son had the ribeye. Both were very good. We also had butter cake for dessert. So yummy. Our waitress, Blythe, was spectacular. Overall….the perfect way to celebrate our favorite dad. It is on the pricey side but for the excellent quality, service, and ambiance…I think it is worth it for a special occasion.

    I think this restaurant was great. it's been 25 years since I visited. The only complaint I have is that the tip was incorporated on a 2-person check. Then the check out pad asked if I wanted to include a tip. I don't want to seem cheap, because we always tip and tip well. But when it is assumed on a small party of two it made me feel "some kind of way".

    Very good food. Good service. Nice ambience. VERY EXPENSIVE. I had a salad, one vegetable, a steak, and paid for 1/2 of a dessert, and a cup of tea. No wine or other alcohol. Dinner for one was over $100, before tip! We asked the server if the new owners had raised prices, and she said they had. My friend and I have been going to Ray's regularly when we drive up from Macon for the opera at Cobb Energy Center. We are now thinking of looking for a new favorite restaurant!

    Ray’s in the River is a nice restaurant. However, my Shrimp and Grits entree was the worst ever.

    Ray’s is a beautiful restaurant that sits on the Chattahoochee River. Live music was playing Saturday night. The filet melted in your mouth. Service was impeccable. Only complaint I had was the women’s restroom was not clean.
