   Food and location was great! The only thing we had a problem with was our service. We had to keep asking both of the people who were waiting on us for refills and/or other things we requested. We had to ask someone else to send over the people who were waiting on us to bring our check at the end of dinner. We were celebrating a graduate and we were suppose to to receive free dessert for her and it took them so long to come back and take the order we just told them to cancel it. Would come back but would hope for better service.

   Service was outstandingly good. Had a nice view of the river and the server made our dining experience exceptionally wonderful.

   I booked my reservation in advance and asked for a view of the river but they said they could accommodate. They put us at a table by the kitchen, the furthest away from the river you can get. Several of my guests complained about their food, not being as good as they thought it would be.

   We went for brunch and were seated promptly and were served by Justin and Zachary. Their service was impeccable. Upon being seated we were given the wrong menus but Justin immediately corrected it. When our pimento fritters had scant pepper "jelly" Zachary noticed and brought us a small cup more. I used quotes because the "jelly" was a vinegar liquid and not a true jelly, but it was a tasty accompaniment for the fritters. We enjoyed the bread basket, grits, eggs, challah French toast and the garden omelette. All the food was served at the appropriate temperature and in generous portions. The flavors were all excellent and fresh. We were seated by the large glass windows that overlook the garden and river. It was a peaceful and pleasant view. Conversation was easy as the noise level was low. We had no problem parking. All in all it was a very pleasant expedience.

   The food was exceptional, and the service was top-notch. The ambiance was intimate but not too dark or secluded, and the live music was an excellent touch. We will definitely come back for a special occasion or date night.

   Outstanding Experience at Ray's – As Always! I celebrated my birthday this past Friday at Ray's, and once again, it did not disappoint. The food was excellent, the service was top-notch, and the overall atmosphere made the night truly special. I’ve been coming here for years, and it just keeps getting better. I have to give a special shoutout to one of my favorite bartenders, Cedi. This guy can make any drink – and somehow, it tastes even better every time. Truly talented and always on point. Also, a big thank you to Manager Derrick, who does an outstanding job running the restaurant. You can tell the whole team works seamlessly under his leadership. Ray’s continues to be my go-to spot for celebrations and great nights out. Highly recommend!

   The evening was great. Our reservation was for 730. We were seated around 750 and did not receive our food until 9pm. I do not know if they were short staffed, or what. The waiter was gone for 15 to 20 between each time she came to the table. The waiter was polite and attentive, but how long the wait was to receive drinks and food was long. As I stated before it was hour after we ordered we received our food. We did not leave the restaurant until 10pm after we arrived at 730.

   Our server was perfect she was very kind. My partner has an allergy and she was very helpful making sure he didn’t eat anything he couldn’t. I can’t remember her name but she was a gorgeous lady with a pretty blonde Afro and a pretty smile.
