   We enjoyed sharing lunch at Ray’s on the beautiful Chattahoochee! Our food was delicious and beautifully presented! Tangie took extra super special care of us! She is a delight!

   Great food, except for the wedge salad, which was made from poor parts of the lettuce.

   I have noticed that since the management changed even the overall quality of the service did. I booked for 6 (4adults and 2 kids) but we showed up in 7 (1extra adult). My fault, but I could not modify my reservation through the portal. I excused my self at the check in and I have been reassured that it was not a problem. We waited 20 min to be seated in order to prepare the table. At the table a placement was missing. I had to share silverware and napkins with my kids. AC was literally uncomfortable (I’m 36yo and today my neck is literally frozen). Food: too spicy. In mine calamari and shrimps I found more banana peppers than calamari. Kids option not an option: chicken fingers or nothing. I have been charged $17 for a grilled chicken breast piece and few fries. $9 for a bottle of water.. The Location thankfully is still amazing but I do suggest you to clean the entrance fountain (weed is growing in the shingles). I think that with a $400 bill you should do better.

   Olive the hostess was lovely and Justin our server was attentive. Food was excellent as usual: We had the oysters, a fabulous Caesar salad, muscles, tuna poke and oysters Rockefeller. Only complaint was they table got dirty from the crackers with the oysters and we had to ask to have it cleaned up. Other than that it was just a lovely evening.

   Our first dining experience at Ray’s exceeded all expectations. The moment we walked in we were greeted with a welcoming staff that accommodated our requests and with a peaceful view of the river! Our server David made our visit even more memorable as he took the time to explain the menu and make my mom’s birthday brunch special. We can’t wait to visit again!

   Overall a C- let’s start with the good, our server was “ok” she was nice and knowledgeable but kept disappearing. The bad was we arrived on time for our reservation but still had to wait 30 minutes because they were behind. This is why I make reservations, so I do not have to wait. There was no compensation offered(free drink maybe? Complimentary dessert or appetizer? I complain because they explicitly say if I was late I have to pay a $30 fee. Next our came out cold! We had a shareable lobster Mac and cheese, it tasted like it had been microwaved. Lastly, we ordered the seafood experience as a main course but before we could even eat it, we noticed a human hair on the plate. I am willing to give Rays another chance, anyone can have a bad night. But next time do better!!

    I was disappointed with my recent experience with ray’s on the river. Although the service was acceptable, the food was mediocre and not what I expected for the price point. Despite having a reservation (and arriving 15 minutes late), we still waited an additional hour to be seated, which was frustrating. Overall, I didn’t feel the experience was worth the cost, and unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be returning.
